  1. Far better to make all zones level 19, make 19 the level cap, and make all higher level content lvl 19 instead. And get rid of IOs. Level 19 is the best level of the game. You have enough powers to be interesting but not so many that the game is ridiculously easy.
  2. Two new games that are now some of my favorites: Century Golem Edition - Kind of like Splendor but with a lot more thinking. You build up a hand of cards that let you convert gems into various colors of different values. You need to get the right set of gems to buy the victory cards. It's basically a gem manipulation engine building game. Hard to describe. Sleeping Gods - Kind of like Tales of the Arabian Nights. Cooperative game. You are lost in another world. You move about a map on a ship and have adventures. The adventures are written stories in the world that you encounter and decide what to do. Depending on the outcome you get cards with keywords that give you quests and modify your further adventures. So if you go to a city and fail to stop bandits from destroying it, you might get a "bandit attack" keyword and when you go back to the city it is destroyed and you cannot shop there.
  3. I thoroughly enjoyed L&T. But then I like the CW shows (except Superman & Lois). Whereas I can't stand the Marvel netflix shows (except season 1 off Daredevil). I like fun superhero movies and shows.
  4. I create characters and park them at lvls 13, 19, 23, 29, and 34. I play almost entirely characters that are level 13 or 19, running Hollows, KR, etc. I do not use IO's, so my builds are SO's plus the P2W free enhancements. The best lvl 15 character for supporting a team is an elec/thermal controller. Electric gives you static field for aoe control every fight (it is fantastic for the door ambush in Posi 1). Thermal gives you shields that make brutes and tankers able to tank plus excellent healing. The best solo character is a claws/bio brute. The aoe with claws can be slotted with the F2P recharge + chance for damage procs. A brute can wipe out all of the minions in a spawn with one attack.
  5. In the final episode it will be revealed that the big bad threatening to destroy the universe is Vanya playing her violin
  6. Are you running +0/x1? Why those particular sets?
  7. You just have to tell the team before FF that you will be doing another arc after it. About half the team will stay.
  8. So the finale posed the three questions: will Leia make it back to her family, will Luke or his aunt/uncle be killed, and will obi wan or darth vader be killed. All of which we knew the answer was no. The only outcome we did not know was what happened to Third Sister. But the main thing I got from the episode was
  9. I find super jump to be so good with the double jump power I don't see the need to take fly unless my character has wings for cosmetic appearance.
  10. I make my costumes as overly detailed as everyone else - but no one else sees it. In combat about level 20 I barely see anything besides auras, defender given shields, and aoe explosions. Making the characters look more detailed would probably have no effect on actual gameplay. We would just spend longer designing our costumes.
  11. Rebels did not have that problem as it was new characters. And Clone Wars did not really have this problem because the emphasis was on the plot for the episode and not whether or not Obi Wan or Anakin survived.
  12. I just cannot fathom why they make a show with the entire plot rendered pointless by us already knowing the future from the movie. The big scenes have no drama because we know how it will end. This feels like fan fiction with really good graphics.
  13. Having seen 3-4 I have to wonder if they are taking the long view on this. The episodes lacked tension for me because I know from the movies who has to survive. But I wonder if they are planning these so that in 20 years people will watch them in chronological order and not know who will survive. In which case instead of these scenes being pointless, they will make the later movies more meaningful.
  14. Finally seen the first 2 episodes. So far: It seems that they are determined to fill in the full story of the main characters from Episode 1 through Episode 9. Whether it is an interesting story or not. For some reason Disney lets the MCU shows be fun and exciting but wants Star Wars shows to be slow and grim. I have to wonder if they just want to show off the world, literally. Lots of slow scenes and shots of the Star Wars world with not much happening.
  15. Dark is terrible. IOs are strong and make Dark work. Play Dark without IOs and you can't even run all of your status protection without running out of END.
  16. I would go with a tanker with an offense focused on single target attacks and a defense based on having multiple foes around. So dark armor/martial arts. You won't be defeated, but neither will your foes.
  17. It looks vaguely interesting. The problem is I don't really care. I know what happens. I will watch a WW2 movie about a small group of people because while I know how the war turns out, I don't know what happens to those people. But I don't care to watch a movie about how the war progresses - I know. Disney+ is making semi-entertaining Star Wars shows but I really won't be excited until they get away from the rebellion era and show me something I don't already know the ending to.
  18. I've read some Hellboy. I don't like the art so I don't read it much. I find the pacing to be slow but not too slow. It's really short story horror pacing. A slow build up to a reveal. Which is okay but not what I look for.
  19. I basically always team and play either a tanker or support. But I also only play at lower levels (below 30 and mostly below 20). In my extensive playing of support characters I have found that the ultimate low level support character is an electric/thermal controller. Electric control gives you static field every fight, which is a re-applying sleep in an area. You can drop it from out of LoS. It is the best aoe control at low levels (ice slick is similar but does not work on clockwork due to knockback and Seeds of Confusion is better control but not sustained and not out of LoS). Thermal gives you Res shields which turn low level tankers and brutes into functional tankers and brutes. And thermal gives you two heals, pbaoe and ally. They recharge quickly and are sufficient to keep a team healed. An electric/thermal controller makes a low level team work. You can do a +4 Frostfire as the only support on the team.
  20. Had it on the ipad but the ipad stopped working with an update from apple a few years ago. Finally got a new tablet - an android. And I have Marvel Unlimited again. I just love reading comic books. I'm not sure why. They are not great. But they are fun. And it is the combination of the pictures and the text that just make it magic for me. I do only like the older ones. I tried Fantastic Four from 1998 and while the art was fine the pacing was just too slow. And the newer comics I find to be crazy slow pacing. But I have the comics from 1961 to about 1990 to read, so that will keep me busy for awhile. I don't know which of the old ones I 've read so I'll just re-read them all probably.
  21. I want to play what I want. I don't care what others play. So not being able to play a dual pistols dominator is annoying. I would rather all sets be available everywhere if possible.
  22. I always thought of Presence as being for getting a taunt, but looking at it for my blaster I discovered it has controls. Not long duration controls, but controls. Pacify is a ranged placate with an 8 second duration, single target Intimidate is a ranged fear with an 8 second duration, single target Invoke Panic is a pbaoe fear with an 8 second duration (60 second recharge) That gives me 2 single target controls and a panic button. I haven't yet gotten Unrelenting which is not a control but looks like a fantastic panic button So do you use these controls for your characters that lack control?
  23. Where there's a whip - there's a way
  24. Marvel has a lot of deaths in their movies from Guardians of the Galaxy to Infinity War to Ragnarok to Multiverse of Madness. So I imagine this will have the same feel as the "modern" MCU movies while having a lot of deaths.
  25. I enjoyed Avatar while I was watching it and didn't think about it afterwards. I may see this. But I have no particular interest in seeing it.
