She-Hulk: Attorney At Law

But it felt all wrapped up in a nice package. It just felt like she declared it was over and all wrapped up. -
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law

Finished it. Overall it was fun and great. But the ending did not work for me. The 4th wall part was good - but then just ending it afterwards felt flat. She should have set up a conclusion and then had us see it. -
Changes to stealth unnecessary....
DougGraves replied to WillParkinson's topic in General Discussion
I found that the revamp of the power pools was great. I no longer need to take powers I don't want to unlock powers I do want. And I now use stealth on almost if not all of my solo characters. Being able to stealth through some missions is a huge boon. -
Dominators need more sets I want dominators with dual pistols, archer, dual blades, and more. Dominators get stuck with mixed melee and ranged sets which means they don't get the fun ranged sets and fun melee sets.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
DougGraves replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Even later to the party. We just binge watched the first 3 episodes and they were great. I have enjoyed this more than any other Disney+ MCU show. It's just fun. -
I think kinetic is a very cool thematic set - it just doesn't make me think kinetics. It's its own thing.

I think given the lack of responses that we can sum up by saying most people just don't care about the alignment system. So my question is whether that is because they don't change alignment (I assume most players are just Blue all of the time) or because they just use Null to do it and it is so easy they just don't think about it.

The best part of Black Adam (no spoilers)
DougGraves posted a topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Is that there are several super powered people and none of them fight by holding out their hands and then stuff just happens. Magneto, scarlet witch, and others often just stand with hands outstretched and stuff happens with CGI. But in Black Adam all of their powers were active and cinematic. They are figuring out how to make superpowers look good on screen.-

All new content is no longer solo friendly?
DougGraves replied to arthurh35353's topic in General Discussion
Exaggerate much? -
That's not so bad. In Guild Wars 2 events spawn other events in chains - which is cool. But they can spawn different events depending on whether you succeed or fail. In some cases players want the rewards from an event that only happens if an event fails and spawns a specific event. So then you get into trouble if you try to succeed at the event. The other players yell at you for not letting the event fail so they can get better loot.

In bank missions you get side missions from street sweeping. And there is doorbell ringing for trick or treating. You do get tips from street sweeping now to help with getting badges. But it seems like they could add side missions or bonus rewards. It would be cool if rescuing people got you a medium inspiration or salvage or something - so you would stop muggings and such. But you should only get a reward if the foes are level appropriate.

Dark/Dark...Defender, Corruptor, Controller, or Dominator
DougGraves replied to Snarky's topic in General Discussion
I don't play dark/dark control much anymore. The dark defender gets a cone fear available basically every fight. That is enough control soloing that playing with the control set feels like wasted control. The dark/ control on a dominator is interesting solo because you have two single target controls - hold and confuse. Having both with domination lets you control bosses well. The defender lets you use fear to lock down and then pick off foes one at a time. And heal yourself when you need to. It is very effective, I just find it boring. -
I tend to find sets I like and then reuse them a lot, but I try to vary the other set. My tankers are usually rad/ now. My controllers are usually elec/. And I make characters and park them at different levels so I can play a level appropriate character for the Hollows, Posi TFs, etc. So I have rad/dark tanker at level 13 and an 19 (Skull Girlfriend and Skull Bride). I have a lot of deliberate duplicates just separated by level.

I am in this mission and this post is the only way I figured out what to do. This really needs to be fixed.
-
I play either heroes or villains. I have no idea what the others are for or do.

I wish they would make servers have different rules. Make a server that has no AE. Make a server where you cannot join teams. Make a server with no Blue or Gold side, only Red side
-
Been soloing redside. There are several missions being sent to Paragon City. They are outdoor maps with objectives like kidnap people or place bombs. But they are set up with longbow and/or police - but then also have the regular gang spawns such as hellions, skulls, and clockwork. I enjoy those missions and like the variety of suddenly finding some hellions instead of Longbow to fight. But I don't like just street sweeping. Even missions that assign street sweeping. I wonder if it is the difficulty in finding the right enemies at the right level with street sweeping (not a problem in the door missions)? Especially with all of the zone revamps it can be really hard to find some villain groups in the assigned zones.
-
Okay, so the red ring is not a "usable now" message but a "use now or you are wasting opportunity build up".
-
Thanks So what is the red circle around the power for?
-
The description is confusing - it recharges over time but activating it uses half of it? I have no idea what that means. I can click it and an enemy glows. Sometimes the power gets a red circle but that does not seem to change what happens when I click it. What's the deal with vulnerability?

Do you care about arcs or just missions?
DougGraves replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
In theory your origin does that. You talk to the contact for your origin in city hall and they introduce you to contacts of the same origin. But you don't have one villain group as your nemesis. You work your way through many.
