Because I am starting to feel my old mild case of stalker addiction from the old days coming back, I'm considering one of two. I had been trying to work on a claws/Electric brute but I'm not sure I am feeling it or not. I've thought of of redoing it as a stalker, but after a night widow it almost feels silly to do a claws stalker. So, I thought I might try street justice out as it might work with the theme for the toon but then I'd want electric armor to at least complete the theme (name and all). Has anyone had experience with Street Justice paired with Electric Armor? Would Willpower work better if I can forgo my desire to fit with the name/look theme I had in mind?

It was useful at times when leveling up my night widow, and still used it fights here and there in the Dark Astoria story, Once I got the toon specced out enough in the incarnate stuff I never ended up using it, though. Kind of outgrew the need for it I suppose. I just finished working on a dual blades stalker and realized I used it maybe twice in all 50 levels and never once against an EB past 25. Probably just a power that is more useful at lower levels once available but if you do things right, the higher you get, the less you'll need it. Been thinking of respeccing out of it on the NW actually. Never tried it PVP, though, so maybe Tacopotamus (best name I have seen on the boards this month so far! Kudos!) is right.

I admit I am by no means a numbers person in this game, so I've just gone by the feel of stuff when playing. My first 50 back in the day was an Elec/Eng blaster and at the time I enjoyed it (mostly for the theme). Then I played virtually every other alt I've had (except that one Corr i tried and hated) both then and now. So I rerolled the toon on Homecoming and felt very sad. Didn't really get it til I rerolled it as Beam/Elec (for theme again... also, blast loudly and carry a big gun) also made a different blaster. Elec blast just FELT lacking as a blasting set. I tried a couple of different secondaries but they never seemed to help. I would have loved for it to hit a bit harder, not saying like fire, but it feels like attacking mobs by sticking a 9volt battery on their tongues.

What do *you* do with alternate costumes?
Shockacon replied to Wild Claw's topic in General Discussion
My only 50, a night widow, has 10 costumes but really only cycles between the main widow suit and the carnie homage (I mean really, those carnies are soooo easily stabbed and slaughtered I felt bad and figured they needed a proper role model other than Vanessa DeVore (OH! I forgot I left that one at the dry cleaners to get a stain out of...)), but I know I made Praetorian Resistance and Loyalist themed ones when I ran through flashback missions there. Haven't done anything with Halloween stuff. Got some based on toons I made the fist time around. Did make a bikini one for lounging in the SG base's hot tub. -
I have it in Slash on my Night Widow and feel like every time I use it on 1 target in a group at least 1 other nearby enemy acts terrorized. I assume it was the proc and not body odor or halitosis as she is pretty good about brushing her teeth and enjoys a good cherry blossom scented bubble bath after a day of slaughtering and stabbing.

I made the mistake of leveling my night widow to 50, then going back and playing with others. Oh, how the NW spoiled me... I tried a remake of my first 50 back in the day, a blaster, and lamented that I couldn't blast and kill fast enough. Then I tried Titan Weapons, Savage Melee, even Dual Blades and an Electric/Shield combo at one point... nothing made me as happy as the slice and dice action of that NW. On the original game, I 50'd a NW quicker than the others I had, even without teaming much. I enjoy my other toons, make no mistake about that, but for my money, nothing else seemed to have the same feel as a Night Widow. IMy old Crab Spider came close but since someone snatched my old name before I could I've been lazy leveling it while lamenting the name loss (ridiculous reasoning I admit).

Hello, fellow NW, I saw your question about the DEF numbers and though I may not be who you specifically asked, I'd like to offer mine up as a comparison... I ended up, before incarnate abilities, with 42% on melee and about 36% on both ranged and AOE. I'm working on a respec but not sure how to allocate 4 extra slots I can take out of Elude and Placate since I don't use them hardly at all anymore.

Aug 26, a classic mmorpg releases. How will
Shockacon replied to wjrasmussen's topic in General Discussion
Considering I have some exes that I am positive are members of a real life Burning Legion, I have no interest in joining such a game -
Hi there! One thing I did on mine was frankenslotted Mind Link with different sets' Def/Recharges to get it close to perma. I think the way mine is right now I'm off by a few seconds but the defense worked out better in mine. CT: Offensive could probably be dropped for almost anything else. I never noticed it really helping much, even at earlier levels. Your build reminds me I keep forgetting to respec so I can get Aid Self (thanks for reminder #451... perhaps it will light a fire to remember finally). Mental Blast I don't know much about because I tend to stick to the stabby mcstabyourface powers on mine. The IOs you have I didn't pay much attention to because it is late her and the sleepies are kicking in, but I did want to post something of a reply so you didn't feel left hanging completely. Happy toxic stabbing out there!

Insert Generic Title for Widow Build Post

Clarion, eh? Hmmm... hadn't thought of that before. I've been switching between Barrier and Rebirth but I might have to add your suggestion now. Thanks! -
Insert Generic Title for Widow Build Post
Shockacon replied to Shockacon's topic in Arachnos Soldier & Widow
:( Is it that bad a build-out? /e headscratch_and_frown :-[ -
Alrighty then, another request for help/insight/criticisms/"nice jobs"/"what the hades were you thinking?" here... I was a fan of stalkers in the game originally so when I read about widows and learned they were kinda stalkers+ I was excited. Then I played one and enjoyed it way much. And while I'm pleased overall with this particular toon's build overall, I know it has some shortcomings for sure (def and res numbers make me scowl in frustration when looking at them)... So I'm asking for anyone to take a look and make any suggestions that could maybe help shore up some numbers without having to sacrifice offense (at least too much). I'm planning on taking 2 slots out of Elude since I don't need it much if at all anymore and am not all that married to the Patron Pools right now. Thanks ahead of time for viewing/comments! My very first toon I leveled up back in the day was an Elec/Eng blaster... always will have a soft spot in my heart but when Homecoming came around and I tried the combo again... it felt kinda meh... ended up switching it to a beam rifle/elec for something that at least fit the theme but wasn't something I had played before... I am liking it much better than trying to level with Elec/Eng

Jeez, you took the words right out of my mouth on t I is one. Elec/En was my first 50 back in the day but i never saved the build out information so I'm in the same position. I only did PVE and occasion TFs with it. Had a blast with it... the 30s i remember were a pain hut I don't recall why.

I saw an odd badge pop up in my display... "They Still Walk Among Us" or to that effect. The info says it is for all the exploration badges in RWZ, but when I look in the exploration badges I can't find the listings for Scarred and the one on the building east of the ship. Never got a notice for them either.

I'm gonna half to second Tzu about the claws/nin stalker. Always enjoyed it and somehow managed to 50 it pretty quick.

Has anyone else out there tried this powerset? I rolled it on an elec blaster for funsies but I'm curious if it is worth it long run or if I should go back to the original secondary I had which was energy manip. So, thoughts? Likes? Complaints?
