  1. You know how over time knockback-less protection sets got knockback protection? and no fire or dark armors complained about homogenization or whatever trendy word they learned from youtube? Can we skip the whole 40% thing and no singleenhancementwonders (kismet and the like) and just strait up give all mastermind pets knockback protection? Mag1 from upgrade1. at low levels there is not gigantic levels of knockback to really worry about, but when there is your 1-3 pets just go flying. With mag1 they SHOULD survive/tolerate stuff like earthquake or a clockwork bash Mag2 from upgrade2, totals to mag3. this will stop most of the knockback in the game with some exceptions like council rockets or random robot blasts and AV/EB knocks
  2. numerically its the epic archetypes, not because they are bad or anything its just they dont have much replayability i mean once you go from gigamax epic enhancements/atos/pvps with insane amounts of recharge at all levels with 95% nova form with damn near blaster tier damage fucking everything up all the while having just enough extra slots to keep rezzing yourself you cant exactly go back to a ranged defense/dwarf/human form anymore and when you tier4 all your incarnates there just isnt that much of a carrot on a stick having a separate bane spider because of the crab backpack was neat after the bane buffs one widow 3 specs rest of the ats i kinda made peace with. well more or less weeding them out to boil off the bad alts fire/trick trollers are still fun trick/fire defenders are still fun. oil slick at level 19 with exemplaring still gets me hard
  3. I was afraid of this, but still its a great change even if single bonuses were allowed it would translate to global 4% pet def, and not-doing-the-math for the scaling resist one+glad proc

  5. The point I was trying to make from the start is that they are both sides of the same coin but dont want to use specific names or backpedal and hope everyone else does not get it. Now, because I am not agreeing with you that makes me against you, I can tell that from the multiple personal attacks in a single post. Belittling me was a form of trying to use power and influence to become dominant. Excellence was never destined for this thread from its inception.

  10. The events just go on too long I can see a week before and a week after said holiday but over a month is just too long even ingame fatigue settles in around week 3 or so when tot leagues dont get anywhere close to full
  11. merc/traps ninja/traps beast/traps ninja/sonic anything poison fragility of pets if your secondary does not sync with the primary the constant resummoning and dying of pets before any animation is done animating autohit enemy powers not being friendly to any pets that can maybe get to 40% defense srtill getting plowed down pets with super high resists but can still be knocked down with a mild gust of wind and overreliance on pets self healing sometsimes atdoes nota cust it its hard to pretend that masterminds outside of a handful of primary/secondary combos are worth a damn i dont even nknow how to suggest fixes or patches or anything without treading that fine line of useless ragdolls to unstoppable killing machines on autopilot that masterminds can be you can take two weakass sets like katana and radiationarmor for a scrapper and still come out with a mid-tier character but masterminds have no middle ground. you are either spending all your time just resummoning like with a necro/cold or you are just billowing through missions with a thug/cold or bot/traps or or or im going to start stripping some of these characters in a few days. forcing the bad is starting to have a cascading feeling of hating CoX as a whole and making me think of some other failed characters that i ended up deleting like my energy/psi blaster because slotting for KB2KD caused me to miss out on way too much ranged defense from thunderstrike/artillery or that one time I made a MA/Nin stalker and lived 30ish levels without AoE and just smashing damage

  13. its been about 4 years since that shits been sticking around from the.. first or second april fools event? but that frequency is something new. i normally run 4 or 5 yins before the freem bug hits me
  14. would this even be possible? lets say empathy gets revamped and it gets a huge shield effect for a single target if said shield gets used up or just fades it will trigger a heal and/or end

  16. KB2KD enhancements are not effecting this power. not sure if its because its the pet entity or however the thingy something whatever holy shit traps suck and im done with respecs on it to make it work
  17. all those old antfarm tunnel maps need to go replace with the new wider atta cave missions
  18. Small bug, the power icon has the same icon as the single target hold, lost its border thingy indicating its an aoe

January - nothing, you know why February - Cupid bow/arrows March - Keg backpack April - egg something May - this isnt as interesting as i thought it was going to be June i cant remember for june and july and if i did what would fit into coh august i sept something pumpkin christmas meat backpack or god damnit ornament wings with variants?

  21. AoE and City of Heroes go hand in hand, and psi melees weak aoe and worst of all, late AoE caused me to only play it once since it released Boggle is total crap and needs a total revamp. Idea #1, give it the Touch of Fear treatment where it is a melee range target aoe DoT but with a confuse effect. targets under the effect give almost guaranteed Insight Idea #2, swap it with tier9 and make it into a single target high/extreme damage DoT Mass Levitate is underwhelming even with Insight up, try "doubling" its damage by adding initial Psi damage and delayed Smashing damage Melee cones are all kinda crap and I hope that Battle Axe was the beta version of what all melee cones will one day get, psi blade sweep is junk because of how much RNG goes into being able to hit more than one target with it with the proposed changes all ATs should be more fun to play. Stalkers dont even get blade sweep, but they get Boggle at 18. if boggle does become a taoe dot most ATs will get it at level 18, and keep it when exemplaring down to 13. tankers would need to wait until 24, but they can keep it as low as level 19.
  22. Can these give exp when they transform? or the wolves giving double exp either way it just feels time/exp is lost when you get them down to 5% and they just kinda poof again with full health and stronger
  23. the combo is nice but you wont be as strong as you think its ganna be, -res and +dmg are additive and not multiplicative and, sadly, in practice you wont have time to stack -resist to any meaningful amount. when you fulcrum shift others they turn into killing machines and for high priority targets lore pets get dropped on said target.

  25. instead of toggle debuffs ever thought about toggle buffs? enemy gets anchored and they just kinda pump out various buffs and things
