  2. 24 power choices to 50, 3 Pri/Sec mandatory, and 4 pools with 5 powers each means you're shy 1 power and 3 slots if you don't train to 49. Can still be combat level 50, and never an incarnate.

  10. So, SotW has the edge, over time, in AS stacks, too... Interesting. I remember from my number crunching days on my Kat/Regen Scrap... I had GC > SotW due to the DPS differences... Then found in play (not pylons) that I had a smoother chain, and less slivers of mobs to kill using the higher alpha of SotW. IIRC, I ran GD > SotW > SD > SotW... Never played Nin/ since it was a bad copy of Kat....
  11. I'll second Rad/Fiery for tanking... Is only the second I've gotten to 50 (first was Ice/SS on legacy). Obscene toughness, multi-use kit, and ALL the AoE.
  12. Warshades would be insane with a short duration MezPro after dropping Dwarf... Main advantage that PB's have - Perma-LF = Mez Pro (-Fear... freaking Tsoo).

  14. 4 dps difference between the two (+GC), 38 dpa difference (+SotW). The difference is minimal. Though, I'm sure someone with better numbers than I can tell if the higher frequency, lower damage works out better for +Crit damage.
  15. Personally, I wish Impale and Throw Spines changed animations... I may have to drop Impale for Barb Swipe myself on my SpIce scrapper... the lack of ST is murder.
  16. I mained a Kat/Regen on Legacy. I've yet to touch */Regen Scrappers on HC. Have an Ice/Regen Stalker at 47 that works well, plans for a Psi/Regen Brute... But fail to see the point of it on a Scrapper. This makes me sad.
  17. You placed a Proc in a toggle with only 1 chance to proc every 10 seconds as a result, and got disappointing results? Shock.

Most builds will make that trade. Yes, that 3rd Lvl 50 Rech IO of 53% was nerfed down to 2.18%. Homecoming hasn't adjusted Enhancement Diversification. It's still there.   22. Attacks - Yup, didn't think to do attack chains, just took powers. Trimmed a little fat and actually checked possible chains. Shadow Bolt/Nova Bolt/Ebon Eye - Grabbed for attack chains (Human/Dwarf), potentially useable Lvl 2 power. See that was unnecessary, grabbed Snare for utility (torn between Acc/Dam or Acc/Mez for the slot). Also see how useless Nova Bolt is, and unneeded - the Cone/TAoE can be subbed into chains. I do appreciate the HC changes of the T1/2 blasts being options for the forms (especially since Eye is actually useful) Gravity Well - Ran out of slots, kept it for utility. Rejiggered it, and had to sort out purple choices - I split the ATO's, so I've only got room for 2xPurple 5 slots. Why Dam/Rech instead of Dam? Dam keeps me ED capped, and only loses 0.5 seconds of recharge with my bonuses (global+perma-Hasten). Stygian Circle - Chased 5% recharge here... Wasn't a good use of slots. Thanks. Quasar - Valid critique, and far more useful than Unchained Essence, due to lack of awkward targeting. Also didn't realize it recharges faster... Whoops - Legacy building mindset there. Unchain Essence - See above response. Also, never really liked cones, personally, so I shy away from them. I view Human as my utility form, got plenty of damage in Nova, so don't really want the additional attack. Dwarf Strike/Dwarf Drain - When I'm stuck in Dwarf due to mezzing enemies and no other option, I'd like to be waiting on powers/use fillers. Did manage to find slots to flesh out Drain, though. Passives and Globals: Forgot that Panacea needs to be in an active power, doh! PT:EndMod vs PF:% is a loss of 4.6 end per minute, or ~0.08eps. In exchange, I get 0.27hps regen. As I'm sitting at 3.29eps recovery (0-100 in ~34 seconds), I don't think I'm missing that - usual build goals are +2eps over toggle drain for sustainment, unless I have active +End tools. Since I'm going to be tri-forming, toggles aren't an issue unless stealthing. Experimentation was grabbed because it asks for 1 slot for 3 powers. I've a +Damage budget of 205% (most attacks are slotted to 95%+), and saturated Mire only gives 112.5%. Double Mire is possible, but Dwarf is 10 seconds vs 30 of Sunless. Good point on the Defensive aspect of Unleash Potential - if I'm just grabbing the first 2 as pre-req's, a small purple+ every 4 minutes will be better breathing room than a small red+ every 6. Have to steal a slot from Taunt (and 1.8 end), but that may be a better option.
