[NPC] Spectral Daemon: You're quite correct. You 'ain't got no problem' with us.'
[NPC] Ohmtown: Look, money, I'm just here on a mission for my man Drek. I ain't got no problem with you.
[NPC] Spectral Daemon: Unfortunately, that's a double negative,
[NPC] Spectral Daemon: meaning that you do indeed have a problem.
In Shauna Stockwell's Story Arc, when you talk to Genevieve Sanders, there's a error:
"They've turned to theft and less savor acts in order to pay for thier next fix."
This actually isn't a spelling/grammar error, but in Gordon Bower's mission "Rescue trapped citizens," he says that the Fir Bolg managed to get into a local warehouse, but the mission itself takes place inside an office. Either switch the map to a warehouse map or change the text to say a local office.
Yeah, It would've been nice to expand on them. at least add an AV or something. Is it actually known who founded them? Like I know that the Petrovich Brothers were the ones who founded the Skulls, but what about the Hellions' leadership?
[NPC] Girlfriend from Hell: Yes. I live to serve you.
[NPC] Hellion Thug: Uh, wow, creepy.
[NPC] Hellion Thug: Really? Sweet! Mind getting me a beer?
🤣
A couple more things:
I noticed that Penelope Yin isn't in the Freedom Phalanx. Please add her.
Also, I noticed that Faathim the Kind has been removed as a potential contact choice. I don't know if the devs thought that he's too big or what, but please bring him back.
Also, increase the character limit on the "About Contact" text field. I find myself often using the standard contacts and would like to copy the text from whichever contact. The problem is, the "Ask about Contact" dialogue is often so long, that it doesn't fit in the allotted amount of characters, forcing me to shorten it.
Here's a powerset idea I've wanted for a while:
Staff Blast
Concept: Attack your opponent with attacks from a Staff.
Archetypes: Blaster, Defender, Sentinel, Corruptor, Dominator (Secondary)
Special Mechanic: Includes a power that changes the damage type. (Similar to Dual Pistols) Options include: Fire, Ice, Energy, Negative Energy, Psionic
Staff Customizations: Same as Staff Fighting.
Found another one. Not exactly funny, but pretty badass:
[NPC] Prisoner: Heard Sir Slasher's been putting the hurt on our fellow escapees. If we don't hook up with an arch soon we could be next.
[NPC] Prisoner: Is that... Sir Slasher? You won't take me alive!
Something I always thought was weird, and this is likely due to technical limitations and/or the lack of priority, is the apparent lack of any disabled civilians in what I presume is supposed to be a densely-populated city. Even the older population doesn't seem to need to rely on walking sticks, crutches or wheelchairs.
Citizen: I may spend some time in Architect Entertainment, but truly, why would I want to hide away in some simulated life when I live this wonderful perfect one out here?
Not particularly funny, but interesting. I just encountered this when doing the Praetorian tutorial. (Interesting because AE doesn't exist in Praetoria.)
In the mission "Shut down all Time Accelerators" from Tina Macintyre, one of the "glowies" has this dialogue:
You begin to deavtivate the device.
It shoud say "You begin to deactivate the device."
Wolf Spider Assault: Didn't we just do this? I could have sworn not ten minutes ago I beat up a hero that looked JUST like you.
The funny thing is that while I do have a mission in the Keith Nance Story arc, I wasn't working on it at the time, but this totally does sound like a quote someone would say during that arc.
