  1. Slotting Recharge in click to activate Mez Defense powers makes a huge difference. Some armor sets use the click vice toggle mechanism in them; Super Reflexes (Practiced Brawler) and Shield (Focused Fighting). Obviously when slotting Set IO's you often cant avoid having to use a XXXX/RECH or combination enhancement like that. Funny thing is that with auto powers and set IOs its better to do the XXXX/RECH vice some other and often can be gotten a little cheaper than the rest because "no need for RECH in def powers" As for the +RECH of LoTG even by its lonesome helps bring down recharge time on all powers nut just the slotted one. Super important for Doms and those who are Recharge strapped. And you can totally have 5 of them which is why people take certain fundamentally useless powers that can take Defense enhancements to "Mule" the RECH Proc". These are not miniscule my any measure. On some builds its almost mandatory. But they are freakin expensive so save your Merits for those. Set bonuses is a vastly larger conversation. Sometimes its going to be defined by your AT other times its your build. Are you trying to increase defense? Resist? Sets will help but may hinder. It's a balance. Same goes for adding regen or recovery via sets. You need to do a little planning there because again . . . expense. It adds a whole new vector to how you build and play. But please, dont go all spendy on purples until you know what you want and need for your character. that is where you get in to 100 MIL for 1% gain stuff. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
  2. Wow! Wow wow wow..
  3. A whole lot of Battletech could be played on that desk @Snarky.
  4. Glorious hair.
  5. I clicked the link and entered my credentials but . . . wait a second.
  6. I can think of one near Sand Island Access Road I used to frequent back in the day for Loco Moco in the morning that had a board of Spam items like this..
  7. I hear you Snarky, all valid points you make but I am not talking about insides or art, I just cant stand a costume that's got asymmetric design elements. Again, I am not advocating removal of the ability to do so but I am going to hurl on your floor 🙂
  8. Thought this was a wrestler until I looked him up. Even better 🙂
  9. Asymetric costumes make me die a little on the inside. You do you but . . . /em vomit
  10. I am sitting at my desk in my office, in a semi-comfortable office desk chair. I am generally alone or my spouse is watching TV in the same office (its a community kind of place )except when spouse is watching crap TV then its a house of horror). The sound is generally off unless its a mission with a freaking glowie hunt. Then, again depending on the spouses presence or absence the speakers are on or the headphones are plugged in. TV is on in the background but often I will have the Bose noise cancelling headphones plugged into the laptop right next to me where I keep my in-game spreadsheets and tracking tools as well as HC Wiki up but am watching something on my PLEX server or TABLO TV. Often its shows tat I can miss some details on while distracted by the game and vice versa. Time spent playing depends on the day and the number of TASK GRENADES lobbed at me. Sometimes I can get in a good hour but its just me generally dicking around solo mission work. If I have a guaranteed uninterrupted block of an hour or so I will commit to a TF/SF time sink. Some days however I will clock 3-5 hours after 6 PM EST I will hammer out as much action as I can. Some Saturdays, when I am not being dragged to Lowe's to look at <insert unnecessary home improvement project> I can get a lot in. Sundays used to be free but now we do dinner out on the town which often coincides with the SG Meeting/event . . . but unlike my SG I get food and sex from my spouse so that takes priority. I love CoH but I LOVE my spouse.
  11. I prefer this Hammer
  12. Skylar does my books. Nothing FLashed Red.
  13. I am confident that they killed Psyche because of those wretched platform heels she wore. Just . . . ew.
  14. Well he is undead so . . .
  15. Full service!
  16. We have new people coming to the game, the universal forum mantra says read the old posts before posting. So they do and if they post a new post talking about something old but RELEVANT to them there and now, someone in a nano-second is posting a link to the old post, but if someone comments on an old post they are necroing. It's high horse snobbery. We were all noobs at some point in the game and in this forum. Now if it is just a "bump" then they are dicks . . . that is necroing and calling that out isn't snobbery. It could be Snarky, but then again, Necro and vampires kind of go shriveled hand in shriveled hand.
  17. the windup on Arcane Bolt is too slow to me, I think only my Mind/Emp Controller still uses it because Mind/Emp.
  18. Oh man I am so putting that mod in tonight, maybe the Buki cat will finally get the message about parking behind my monitor and having weird "kick your feet" kitty dreams.
  19. Let's go get some Natty Boh's and smash evil Hon!
  20. Aint first dates the best 🙂
  21. Smasher and Crasher and Donna Dixon!
  22. I use it quite a bit (either in Ouro itself or using base crystal). For me I run all of my toons through missed content. Some I use an origin angle like my Tech Shooter Trinity Six doing Techy missions (Clockwork, Sky Raiders, Freaks, Crey), my magic users of course are pounding CoT and BP. Naturals and story based ones often hammer the Hellion/Skull/Troll/Family/Tsoo/Warrior material. Obviously there are also the badges, even to my non-badge collectors there are some that you probably missed and have to flashback (Spelunker, Hydra Dimension) and I generally make it a point to run most of the Accomplishment Badges. Ouro allows me to experience old content (a lot of which I can do blindfolded) with new characters whose powers and play yield a different experience (and an occasional faceplant - Negotiator mission where enemies are Orange and you are a Controller). Teaming in Ouro is obviously less common because its like a TF and thus cannot pick up mid stream. There are players who very frequently run OG Positron and Psyche and call team forms. Occasionally someone will call a Silos (for the Jade Spider) or meet there for an SBB or something like that. Almost all of my level 50's are parked there due to my use of Flashback and ease of getting to teams running elsewhere. Improvements. Personally I would like to see the outbound O-Portal have Skyway, Steel and Bricks added to match where people issuing core TFs are located as they do the V side.
  23. Great. Now my eye twitch is back. Thanks.
  24. Why not both. Everyone's equal in my eyes.
