Accolade for collecting all badges of a holiday event
Super Atom replied to Super Atom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
That's based on the assumption they continue to add new badges that aren't automatic for logging in, which is highly unlikely. I don't see the limited dev time being spent on new holiday events when they're already fairly dense events. So the comparison to actual content like a TF which is very possible, doesn't really fit. Say 5-6 years from now, if they add 5-6 more logging badges, accolades can always be updated without creating new ones. -
Accolade for collecting all badges of a holiday event
Super Atom replied to Super Atom's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Doesn't count for accolade probably. Like you said, It's fairly rare to add and holiday events have a bunch of badges as is, more than enough for holiday accolades. -
My condolences to the family, friends, teammates of Punchy.
Super Atom replied to MoggieCanada's topic in General Discussion
Punchy was an amazing friend. There isn't much content in this game I've done without him in a long time and i don't know how im going to bring myself to play without him. I'd like to share just a handful of things for people who didn't know punchy. While its true he was fighting cancer, he never let his friends worry about it. He was always strong and to our current knowledge was finishing beating his cancer. Even though he was going through this and much more then anyone but his closest friends know, he was always wanting to help others with leveling, getting influence or badges it didn't matter what punchy was always down to help out and he was always linking music and just trying to have a good time with his friends. He was one of the most kind people I've met on this game. Most of the friends i have on this game after swapping to Everlasting i met through Punchy. While we did act like menaces in general chat to the dismay of many, it was always just us trying to have fun, like with our [beanbag] joke which was never intended to be a slight against anyone or the homecoming team, we were just really dumb. He never took it seriously and moved on from drama faster than anyone ive ever known. I already miss him more than words can express and i wish so desperately i had more time with them. Rest in peace Punchy. (Memorial done by chili bear of chaos united) -
I miss them so much.

Focused Feedback: Blast Power Set Updates
Super Atom replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
So if Ignite is higher damage to compensate for Aim, Why does it need the fear? The fear is really off putting tbh. Especially when it comes time for using it as a ST attack for soloing GM's/AV's/EB's they run around like track stars. -
Focused Feedback: Blast Power Set Updates
Super Atom replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Is there a point to going to my thread and discussing changes? Are you willing to change beanbag to something else like a follow up power? A lot of people are completely disenfranchised right now because it kinda feels like you aren't even willing to hear feedback or try other solutions. I'm not trying to give you a hard time here I'm just being honest with you. It really does feel like the overwhelming majority of people who dislike the changes aren't being heard in favor of a very small mysteriously absent portion of players. If you're still open to ideas and willing to make changes you should probably say so, because otherwise everyone is wasting their time and is correct in it's over. If it's over then It's over, just be honest about it being over. -

Rain of Arrows does more damage, recharges only 5 seconds slower and hits 6 more people. So i guess just make it 5 seconds longer? -

Stop deleting feedback. I understand you deleting inflammatory posts that aren't contributing anything, but you've deleted valid feedback comments for AR. That is not okay. -

Beanbag becoming follow up that stuns would also be fine. This works with the recharge difference between aim/beanbag too. -

Is it specifically because It's a 10 second stun and that might be overpowered in the first 10 levels? because that's a pretty bad reason to handicap an entire set. Just lower the damage of slug and add the stun. It'll still end up doing more damage overall becxause of aim. I'm not trying to give you a hard time here, I want to understand the decision because if the changes go out as is, AR may be viable, but it won't be very good. You also say Aim doesn't make the set. This is true, but all the other changes you've made + aim does. It also makes a gigantic difference for Devices/Martial/Ninja who don't have build up. I also like the beanbag follow up suggestion. It too would make all parties involved happy. -

Just fuse slug and beanbag and give us aim. Please. -

just move the stun to slug. Gains everything, loses nothing. I don't even know why this is difficult. -

This is the better option. even if it just adds stun to one or two attacks lol Beanbag over aim is a terrible decision. -

issue 27 Focused Feedback: Attack Typing Adjustments
Super Atom replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Inspirations should have a cooldown and never give more than 10% of anything as a cap. death to inspirations also the way this change is described makes the change sound more impactful than it is -
issue 27 Focused Feedback: Architect Entertainment
Super Atom replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
/those/ changes are bad, someone is at veteran level 12k so it's too late already, you're just taking away stuff people like to do, even if i think it's boring. -
Yes but again, you have no reason not to do one. With WoW, doing one actively hurt your rewards as this did prior to Cobalt Arachne stated changes. People already don't join certain TF's for various reasons, the goal here is to prevent giving people a reason outside of personal choice to not join certain TF's. They can't force you to do low level runs of anything nor should they.

issue 27 Focused Feedback: Attack Typing Adjustments
Super Atom replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
The ideal scenario if you were going to make a change like this. -
It doesn't matter, actively giving people a reason not to join TF's based on difficulty is a bad idea. We literally saw this happen in WoW already with mythic keys, granted the rewards are on a much more casual scale... It should still be avoided. This issue is easily avoided through other methods. This sets a maximum possible daily gain of 30 Prismatic Aether Particles from Advanced Difficulty content on the same character. They don't need any bells or whistles beyond this. If you do the harder difficulties you get to 30 cool nice, but why make it so you can't if you do a lower level TF? Makes no sense, completely pointless. You should encourage people to try the harder difficulties to get the max 30 if they -want- to.
