Given that the damage in Storm Blast is lackluster outside of Storm Cell, why isn't Storm Cell a toggle? You, the player, have to be in the Storm Cell in order to get the "bonus" damage. We don't need another key power like Force Field Generator that just quits on you, often with no notice. At least FFG has a fast enough recharge that you can simply hit it again between spawns. Storm Cell doesn't even get that. And the need for Storm Cell to be a PBAoE toggle is exacerbated by the glacial pace it follows the caster at in addition to it being prone to vanish without warning.

Symphonic Control, I'm gonna Polka your eye out!

So the market works exactly as I thought it did.
-
-
I thought the market was supposed to give the lowest priced item to the highest bid for that item, with both offerings and bids kept secret until there is a winner, then only the winning bid is revealed.
-
It may be a possibility (oh how I wish!), but I don't believe it's intended behavior. @KyaBuu (I think) tested it and their test came up negative.
-
Thanks. It's weird, I swear I've seen mobs take the bonus damage from Storm Cell when I swear they're outside the AoE.
-
Let me start by saying that I love the new Storm Blast set. But who needs to be in the Storm Cell radius for the bonus damage effects, me or the mob?

What does your "macro toolkit" for new characters look like?

I see I'm not the only one who caught the typo. -

I'm working on a Popmenu with particular macro_image powexec_location macros for the drop patches in (eventually) every powerset, general keybinds (chat, Dominator movement+Domination/Hasten, etc). This Popmenu was started by @Krogoth and will be shared with credit, and with his permission when I am done with it. -
I especially like the "Domingator" (SIC).

It was a way of life in The Hollows, as you say, back in the day.

I can login to Closed Beta, but not to Live.

I may have found the Unicorn! Ice/Dark Corruptor

And the damage!!! Tarpatch > Blizzard > Ice Storm Have holds (plural) for Hami on the LGTF, as well as Ranged. I have been meaning to reroll my Ice/Dark Corr from live and haven't gotten around to it. -
Aren’t the Tsoo a bit out of their league?

My forum name on live was Attila the Pun, and this thread has my stamp of approval. -
What amusing thing in game elicits a real life cacke?

I love to put a Lightning Storm over my head and fight under it. The mobs come running up and get blasted away again. This makes me smile every time. The other cool stormy trick I love to do is when Direct Strike is in Quick Form jump up in the air and click Direct Strike. I hold on to that lightning bolt all the way back to the ground. Reminds me of the the Storm from Big Trouble in Little China who always drops in riding the lightning down. That always brings a smile to me. -
So imagine our Devs decided to go for CoH 2...

No, I'm saying that some content could be similar or the same, but you should have different contacts in Dubai than you do in Hong Kong. And you should have different adversary groups (e.g. Hellions might be a North American gang, while Council would be world wide). Oooor... Maybe you start in one city that has X level range, and when you outlevel that you move to the next city... Cities should also look like their namesake. -

Ditch the concept of servers. Make each "server" a city. So I roll my super in Chicago. Oops, all my friend play in New York or Paris or Dubai. Let me "server transfer" by buying a plane ticket. Have local story arcs, but some local arcs unlock regional or global arcs (TFs or Raids). The regional/global arc should be accessible by anyone in the region, or globe without buying a plane ticket. -
It runs great on a SteamDeck.

The powerset you'd love, but you know will never be implemented

Oh I read it on p. 3 of this thread. But no one bothered to detail their MM version of it, so I did. To be fair though I've wanted this since live. -

I'd like an insect MM set. T1 2 Giant Ants Bite attack 1 Giant Fire Ant Bite attack w/ Toxic damage as well T2 Giant Bombardier Beetle Bite attack Explosion attack Giant Stink Bug Bite attack Rikti Monkey (or other) Gas attack T3 Seven foot tall Preying Mantis. Fearsome Stare 2x Impale attacks Bite attack Why? Because spiders are over done. -
More interesting and unique missions and story arcs for the Shard would be excellent! Having story arcs that grant a 1 week buff at the end would be cool. I'm talking about 1% - 5% buff to one thing (e.g. Fire/Cold resist, Acc or ToHit, Ranged Def, etc) to represent that the Shard doesn't work the way the rest of the game does. This would incentivize spending some time there semi-regularly. Grant villain access through Aeon Corp - this is something I would dearly love to see. Does the shard become coop or competitive? I could see some competition w/o going full PvP, say competing for access to missions/contacts/neighborhoods by accruing points for your faction. Vig get Hero points and Rogue get Villain points. All Shard current TFs become full coop. Or just make it a full coop zone. Leave the gravity geysers alone, they're fine the way they are. If you don't like them buy a jet pack. There are other large zones that people don't gripe for teleportation portals in. I really like some of the other suggestions - particularly the one where gravity on any given island can be in a different direction that the other islands. Sadly, I don't think the game engine will support that. The other thing that isn't going to happen that I'd like to see is for the islands to drift.
