DEFINITELY check the link in his signature. @Xandyr is the Bio armor guru and I used his guide to make SWMPTHNG (Bio/Rad), and as an incarnated 50+3, he's nearly unkillable. My current project is Bio/Fiery Melee. Last night, at lvl 31, I joined a Citadel TF on Exc, and he cakewalked through a +2, with a team of almost all melee/damage toons - i.e. almost no support (one kin Corr with tanks, scraps and blasters filling out the group). Ran in Offensive mode, until Vandal and the Council just melted, in droves. In hindsight, didn't even need Defensive mode, for the AV, as he went down quickly, as well. My $.02 infl for Fire as a secondary 😁

^---this. I am the same, @Kabal, in my distaste for the Bio animations. Since PA is an aura, you can color it as you like and AC is only seen on activation, when the armor forms and is then immediately shed. I can live with that.

My S/L farmer is an Electric/Electric brute. I have basically the same build (obviously tankier on the tank) and can S/L farm or run pretty much anything at +4/8. Even tanked Recluse the one time I took him on the Ms. Lib TF...and it was on Tanker Tuesday, so no support toons. You can use the armor template and plug in Rad melee, I'm sure. I'm still having problems with Mids' exports, on my laptop, so here's a screenshot, and I'll try to add the export later, from the PC.

And maybe Ice, to slow everything around you to match the SLOWness of Rad Melee...😆 In all seriousness, I made an homage to Swamp Thing (that got genericized, lol) as Bio/Rad. He's super tanky and debuff-y, but I hardly play him because Rad Melee is sooooo sssslllooooowwwww. So I know Bio works (but Bio pretty much works with any secondary).

If you are "merit poor" on alts, you can convert 50 Reward Merits to one Hero Merit and email to yourself, then save the Hero Merit on your alt and convert back to 50 Reward Merits.

The only thing (IIRC) I changed (from the previous data chunk) was moving a slot from Stamina to Siphon Life, to stick the ToE +end proc and moving a slot from Combat Jumping to Hasten, for perma: Still virtually the same numbers, but with the end proc in Siphon, you can keep Focused Accuracy on, at all times, and every four seconds, refill your end bar. ...and you can get Siphon Life at 8, and add the Theft of Essence +End proc at 10. But I also agree, you shouldn't have too terribly difficult a time keeping your blue bar up.

For a minute, I thought the 1* HM ITF was being led by @Spaghetti Betty, as I ran (as usual) to the large left room, only to realize they were +4s and loaded with EBs (and nictus infused bosses)...SURPRISE! The team recovered quickly and thanks @Ronin_Around for dropping it to +2, for the rest of the night. We had no problem with the dark ambush at +4, but the GMs and AVs would have taken all night, methinks. Did someone say we were a 7 tank team running at /8 targets? 😆 Lots of leveling and lots of fun. Final Rommie was a bit of a disappointment and went down like a wet towel. Great work to everyone who joined and thanks again to Ronin for leading us.

Hey, I hit like a wet napkin...(well, except for the latest Rad/SS project 😆). And I *love* when you add curveballs to the TFs... On a serious note, I 'd vote (and offer to lead) the Numina, tonight (because I have several toons who only need that for TFC), but alas it is H.S. soccer season and with two boys on the varsity team, we'll be having games on all days, until February. Thanks. I dropped a damage proc or two in RT, KB and FS, for 2x winters, to get over 100% slow/recharge resist. He's still a murderball of unkillable goodness, as well. With the supposed "proc nerf", I don't see that much difference in damage, but again haven't parsed that deeply into the combat data.

OK, so a loaded question, for sure, and there will be many opinions. Fire away with your suggestions and reasoning. Why am I asking? My latest project, in preparation for an all Rad/SS Tanker Tuesday event, has now unlocked everything but Hybrid and I've amassed plenty of Emp merits to begin to finalize the incarnated build. Here's the current 50 build and numbers. Adding one stack of the MoT +res puts everything but N/C/P to cap. Fires constantly in Haymaker... 110.1%+ Recharge/Slow resist. 26.1% Melee Def, without even trying. Accuracy? Seems spotty, even with Rage (single stacked) up, but haven't drilled down enough to have hard data. Near perma-Hasten @ 213% recharge, 145% bonus in the 20-ish seconds it's down. Foot Stomp every 6.7 seconds. End use 1.47, Recovery 3.4 - will probably take Ageless for self and team DDR, anyway. Hit me!
