  1. I have the much memed TA/DP and the -dam is very legit. Also the power in DP take slow and KB/FFB procs which do not care what ammo you are using. The ST is meh if you cant get something like a procced ice arrow type power from your primary. The animation times are an issue. T1 abd T2 just should not be used.
  2. I only have 3. 1. fire/kin - for obvious reasons. Range cap is nice and easy on range toons and kin takes care of the rest. crit last hits make scrappers mad. 2. cold/cold. - Because when HM4 was newand running everyday it was tank, some one with a rez/buffer, 6 ice/cold corrupters. This was before the great FR/Sleet nerf balance changes between arch types so unsure if still best considering def has better values and defences now. The crits are fun but not kin(or procced out defences be dammed blaster). 3. A water / storm. Seemed fine but the def were mid and with the old leveling system was just fine. Def has much better defences allowing proc goodness and def FR is best rain power since the great balance on those pets. So, corrupter left at level 30 or so. Also Tornado, FR, LS are the stars here. Blasting is just for FF procs. I think marine and nature are probably fine. If MM can make a tanky marine I am sure corrupters can, and nature is OP on evertything. DEF T9 is great on the dam buff though, high ~82% which will not get to the defender dam cap but is so nice when perma. I don't think you can recharge shennaigins stack it. SO really, to me, Kin is the only one I would roll 100% corrupter. Nature and Marine (best on MM don't @me) if you only care about blasting. Nature you only need the cone heal. The rez if you 4 star on it.
  3. I have played all sets except mercs and pets, Mercs have a few bugs. I have rolled a mercs FF. 1. Extra lag on pets aggro to mobs on order select. Even on a agro they take a few seconds before they begin to agro on movement to new group. 2. Pet window for mercs does not show any of the buffs for the pets. Logged onto my robots and Ninja which still works. 3. Game crashes (not map serve) on the last tinmage mission where you take the bottom heli to mission and during mission load Crash with a few dumps loaded. I have never had a mission I could not enter on any other power set in the game. I toggled off dispersion. Crash, dismiss pets crash, toggle of everything - Crash.   4. I always go to the hollows and search the hills and and neghborhoods just north oif the zone entrance.
  5. Don't forget the -dam component of Darkest Night for resist builds. It lowers the damage you take beyond the 90% cap. -dam is also increaased by -resist debuffs.
  6. As show my connection isn't terrible, but these happen randomly often and Im not sure why. Been playing since 2000 and no issues like this. This PC has had this issue for about 2 months I think.

  8. IM at 192.5 on my Ill/traps and it spawn the 1st PA when queued right when the last PA despawns. Its a lil close

  10. Remade my ice/fire with your build Sai. he was my 1st 50 on HC Vet level 102. Hadnt been repsecced since the nerf to S/l. Hoo boi it is wild and fun Thanks Sai.

  12. Played my Storm/Water and stacking FR on romans for -80 resist is pretty hillarious. Gale > Water burst for the recharge and KD and either nuke/LS and cast tornado off cooldown. Pretty much nothing survived and the fasted +4 Rommie takedown x 4 ive seen in a minute. (we also had a Kin)
  13. On live anyway, Took Midnight Cinders to PI and pulled a council radio 4x8. The only thing I dint notice, is the entire mob flopping on bonfire cast (acc needed check). MC is a full T4 incarnate fire/dark contrroller with 45% M/r/A and maxed s/l/d resist and bountiful regen/recovery. And barrier. I don't usually cast flashfire at 50 whose cast time could have been adjusted for the nerf... Its just undeeded with bonfire/cages/patch. If needed on bosses I hate there's always ff and HT combo. I noticed no difference in mobs flopping with the amounts of global accuracy I was pushing. It still flops everything in what appears to be in a frequency with no noticible difference. Other that in no longer completely eliminitating the alpha its fine.
  14. I’ll have to check the bonfire changes as I thought the changes affected epic pools and not the fire control set. this may be a sign I should only make scrappers and blasters
  15. 1. Claws/bio scrapper - just excels at everything, Spin spin baby. 2. Stone/Stone blaster - Very meaty. A Myshkin build. 3. TA/DP defender - what damage. 4. Storm/water defender - Also a Rediculous Myshkin build 5. Fire/Dark controller - very very tanky.
  16. I have a Grav/Storm controller with the Tp Pool that I don't log in anymore because I dont want him hammered. Only a couple of people remembered the Tv show though.
  17. Sleet and FR are psedopets so those pets cant apply more than once and just refresh. However you can put multiple pets on top of ech other stacking it.

Storm is better on a defender due to the storm pets unlocking earlier and doing better damage, coupled with being easier to build def allowing you to build more end/recovery (you will still want conserve power). Its fine on corupter but on beta FR does -40% resist reduction for defenders. It gets buffed while evreyone else gets less now. I like it with water for the self heal. Kin is better on a corupter due to damage caps and fulcrum shift. Early teams like you for SB. Evreyone at max level loves fulcrum. Pick fire, ice, or electric and go nuts.
  19. Im not saying use it at the same spot but things like Romi, aeon, and MLTF can be used on 2 different avs in order. The mez prot works like elec against Rom and is perma there. Also perma in MS raid.
  20. EMP arrow's Ally shield is beyond perma. On recast it replaces and doesn't stack. This provides resist, mez prot, and end drain prot. Think electrical affinity's bubble without the KB prot. The debuffs from it are time gated and not perma. It is the sets big -regen power. -500 regen for 15 seconds and -500 regen for 30 seconds. Combined with the rest of the set most teams are killing the thing in that 30 second time frame. I think it has the damage to robots thing also.
  21. on my TA defender flash allows me to click the barrels in Posi 2 without aggro. I also have SS+celerity. Its fully 6 slotted for the resist. This also works in other missions with a glowie involved. He's also DP for the -dam synergies. Melee is no problem with TA. It also works with Hover blasting as well but on topic Hot feet doesn't play nicely with flying. On my fire/dark controller I never touched smoke. Being resist capped to sle and good dark and psi resist and softcapped /m/r/a means I mostly don't care if they see me.
  22. Thanks nihilii I'm going to try it out. Leveled him during the Halloween TOT event and there wasn't an updated build for this combo since the axe changes. Changed the order some as It's not available in game as is since the change. Seems fun. Would of liked a FF in it but an old quote from Arcanville was, "you only need enough recharge for your attack chain" keeps me from changing much.

  24. This was your earth/em tank build. Mostly just commented on the lack of taunt for 4 stars. The PUGS expect it. I don't see 4 star pugs advertised much anymore so assuming they are private groups/SGs now. Sorry posted late at night to the thread.
  25. I have to agree 4 star pugs do cause drama if a tank does not have taunt. I wanted to TA/DP but they needed a tank. They were unkind.
