I've been playing since Open Beta and I still haven't figured it all out. Ok, I'm a little slow, don't judge! I've been playing MMOs since Ultima Online and City of Heroes is by far my all time favorite. Give it time, it grows on you, or maybe that's just the Devouring Earth...

Welcome to CoH Altaholics! I have around 140 characters ranging in level from 10-50+. if you count deleted characters, well...let's not even go there. It is very common to switch between multiple characters. Don't fight the desire to try something new. Embrace the alts!

I was surprised to get Shave Ice on Torch. Not so surprised to find Shaved Ice taken

Air Superiority is the best single target defense power in the game, and it does damage. Now, if it only took Force Feedback...

I forget that Null even exists. I rarely go to Pocket D, I don't switch alignments, and I have never been affected by Group Fly to even realize there is a mechanism to disable it. Granted, all anecdotal but I doubt I am the only one. Edit: Sorry for the callout Arcane, I hadn't read your subsequent post.

As I was leaving Praetoria with my latest character I decided to try something new. Normally when I do the portal mission my Resistance characters go through Sheridan's portal and my Loyalists go through Marchand's. Tonight I took my Resistance character through Marchand's portal and was met by the Loyalist contacts. I had always thought the contacts that show up to bid you farewell were based on your final allegiance (Resistance or Loyalist) but instead it is based on which portal you go to. Oddly enough, although I had to kill Chance McKnight to preserve my cover at the end of his story arc, he was at the portal offering to buy me a beer when next we meet. No hard feeling, I guess.

I suffer from Shiny Squirrel Syndrome. I am an alt-aholic. I play a character for awhile, then I see something shiny and go play that for awhile. I have 140+ characters over 3 accounts, ranging from level 10-50+, half are Praetorian mirrors of the other half. I run my 50's through DA or do solo TFs from time to time, tweaking their builds. I have yet to retire anyone.

You may want to list which server for people who wish to attend

Just so you know you can do that story arc as Resistance too. I have never had the map glitch out on me during that mission, but another thing you may try is /stuck. It doesn't seem to be a common issue as I have personally done that mission over 50 times. Of course now that I say that my next run through is bound to glitch

I've always done Posi 1 solo. It sounds much more difficult with a team.
