  1. I don't actually track, look at or check rewards... so I was doing them all each week and just assuming I got the double rewards for a LONG time. I even gaslit myself a couple times when I got the Assistant badge and believed I must have forgotten doing one already.
  2. That is awesome. I could dig an animated show in that style. It's kinda like Teen Titans Go but more... kinetic?
  3. Don't underestimate the power of tax funding.
  4. You know how when you activate a power, and then you press another power before it's done, it will queue it up? Ok OP is suggesting that if you activate a power, then you click another power, but BEFORE that power activates, you try to move... you will move instead of activating that power. This would not remove jousting. Especially because I'm proposing that activating a power should also cancel a movement... exactly as it does now. If the only way you know how to joust is by queueing the attack, then running by a mob... ok? You could still make that work. You could add an arg that it only cancels if you're not already moving... or one that says it only cancels if it's queued behind another power... or probably 10 other ways to make it not break anything else. Your character could still have the same momentum to carry him past a mob, animation and activation times wouldn't change, physics doesn't have to change. The guy literally just wants to be able to move his character while a power is queued. That's not an outlandish request, nor is it a gamebreaking feature and yes they could code that and no it wouldn't be difficult.
  5. It is. They can make the buttons make the character do things AND not do things. Lol wait... You think that they can make the escape key unqueue a power, but not moving your character? You think they can make movement interrupt a snipe, but not stop an attack that hasn't even activated yet? Haha But there it is! When coding difficulty comes up, we know we're at the bottom!
  6. Of course. That's why you queued it. Are you worried about accidentally moving or..? Something else we haven't thought of?
  7. There you go! You found it. This is a salient point that addresses OP's suggestion. That would be an annoying issue if you errantly move while an attack is queued. It would mean you would have to be way more deliberate if this was the case. Nice job!
  8. I literally offered this guy a job and he ignored it. Y'all think he's going to learn to use the market to make money?
  9. Great question. You know how if you're moving now, and you activate a power, your character stops moving and uses the power? Like that. It could work like that. What OP is talking about is if you have a power queued, but you start moving, the movement takes priority. It might seem a little tricky, but both of those things could be true. So if jousting could be safe, what new problem with the idea can you come up with?
  10. Whoopsie! That's why I explained that activating a power could hopefully also cancel movement. If you read my post that you quoted, you can see it in the first sentence there. Do you have any thoughts about anything that anyone is actually saying?
  11. Interesting take. So you prefer that movement doesn't cancel a queued power. Why?
  12. Well, it certainly could do that. I outlined in the post juuust before yours how that could be impacted and mitigated. So... what if it didn't prevent jousting?
  13. If they made moving your character cancel a queued power, I wonder if activating a power could still cancel movement? Otherwise you would have to be sure your finger is off the W to attack, changing the way jousting works for instance. I think this suggestion would benefit people that don't normally move a lot during combat, but it could severely impact the way you play if you run and jump a lot already.
  14. Uh oh. I think we have another whoopsie! Maybe it seems like OP did not mention that because it's not relevant. He did say this though: You can see he gave an example of a. workaround. He doesn't need to list them all. He doesn't want workarounds. He made that clear. OP is suggesting that movement taking priority over a queued power. Do you have any thoughts about movement taking priority over a queued power?
  15. Ooh +1 because there's already bat assets in the game. That would look badass. Can we customize them as butterflies, though?
  16. I heard they were going to let you pick the color of your cube, but found out that brown was harder to see during pvp on some maps.
  17. I don't think that's how it works... I think it's just whatever you queued last, not based on any priority. Also, you can only queue one power at a time, plus your one autofire. I could be wrong, but you might not be queuing as many attacks as you think you are. I think movement breaking up the queue is an interesting idea though. Battle Maiden has got me a time or two because of that, and that was just because of one attack queued.
  18. Good catch. That would be a nerf! It's a good thing nobody suggested that... ever! Phew! But you did have a whoopsie! OP is aware of how things currently work and already mentioned your proposed workarounds. He is suggesting a change.
  19. There is certainly more stuff to understand... and most of it is not explained well... or at all but I don't think that is what makes new players feel defeated. The feeling of being lost as a new player in a game like this doesn't come from the fact that you don't completely understand the game. It comes from the fact that everyone else does. If everyone on your team was as clueless as we all were in 2006, everything would just feel like discovery and progression. But if you're a true brand new level 25 and join a TF, you might end up getting to the missions as they're ending, getting yanked around by TPs and then being literally left behind. Not very super. Nobody explains what you need to do because they don't need you to do anything. If you joined a team of 8 dudes slotted with DOs who all took the medicine pool, you have a chance of feeling super.
  20. Thank you so much for this feedback... it is very well thought out and extremely useful. You have a really good eye for this and great attention to detail.
  21. So...no? Lol.
