  1. Rampage City! RAMPAGE-27317 on Everlasting Built by Hobo Town This is a really cool miniature city. It's consistent in theme and a really interesting use of the editor. If you wanted to be a giant monster or kaiju and stomp around a city, this is a great place to do it. A kaiju themed PvP event here would rock. I just found this while looking for something else in the base directory and thought someone else might get a kick out of it.
  2. Yeah totally. Agreed. It's unfortunate that it seems that way to you.
  3. Whoopsie! You seem to have lost your place a little bit. I asked if you had any thoughts. You replied to me, but forgot to include your thoughts! I am asking the question. I am asking a question related to the topic. Should changes be included in the patch notes? It's not a trick. No need to be cagey. It's the topic we are discussing. Discourse can be tough. If you don't have any thoughts, that's always ok. I can help you. Maybe you think changes should be included in the patch notes. Maybe you think some changes are ok to exclude... maybe you even have criteria you could share. Maybe you don't care at all or have not put any thought into it. All those positions are OK.

  5. Yeah but the question was "should changes be listed in the patch notes?"
  6. Hmm. I interpreted the body of OPs post to mean that changes should be listed in the patch notes... because that's what it says. Most of the confusion lies in people reacting to the word choice of the title and arguing that his example is not a significant change. Only a couple of people have addressed whether or not changes should be listed in the patch notes. But... changes should be listed in the patch notes. I don't think anyone has argued against that.
  7. So... is that like a no? I didn't know that. This is the only thread on the subject that Ive participated in, though.
  8. I think maybe people read the title and ran with their interpretation of it... like an Aunt sharing things on Facebook. Does anyone have an argument why changes shouldn't be included in patch notes? Or why it's ok if they're not? I can't think of a reasonable argument against OPs actual complaint, so I would love to read one. But if you're still arguing about the specific example... have fun I guess lol.
  9. Ooph. That would be brutal. I'm heavily invested now. I have to know the outcome! What are the odds the solution really ends up being a complete overhaul of a core mechanic?
  10. Thanks for compiling this. The thing I was most excited about? The shotgun. I had a ton of mobs rocking blacked out Celestial Rifles in place of shotguns.
  11. Umm... you should get that checked. That's not normal. Did you forget to turn off Sprint and Athletic Run again?
  12. So you are interpreting this complaint as some sort of accusation or an attack on the developers' character? Was it the word "stealth" that did that for you or something else?
  13. Whoopsie! The complaint was about changes not being in the patch notes. It wasn't about changes-that-arcane-thinks-matter not being in the patch notes. Your personal opinion on whether the change is impactful are irrelevant to the complaint. And that's before we even dissect that opinion and all the assumptions and conclusions you used to form it.
  14. I understand that this forum is a niche audience within a niche audience within a niche audience... but damn it's weird in here... OPs complaint was pretty logical and reasonable, albeit poorly formed at the start. The only reasonable response to his complaint is "oh yeah... they probably should have put that in the patch notes." Everything else? Talking about Integration, citing 3rd party sources, demanding proof? Weird behavior.
  15. I got you. It's because it would be cool and funny. Spawns of Skulls doing the Slav Squat in Kallisti Wharf would look cool but also be kind of funny. Cool and funny is a popular design choice and one that is fairly prevalent in City of Heroes. People like it. People would see the Skulls squatting like that and like it. They would be all like 'lol' and also 'ngl... that looks cool' He suggested it because he would like to see that and thinks others might like it, too. He's right.
  16. Can you give an example?
  17. It doesn't sound like CCE is what you're looking for, though you could certainly incorporate that as well. I think you're looking to bind fly activation and the costume change with one key. If you want to use the same key to change back, you'll need to make that bind rotate, but I imagine that one could easily get out of sync if you pressed it while your costume change was cooling down. Lots of info here including how to separate commands and rotating binds: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/The_Incomplete_and_Unofficial_Guide_to_/bind
  18. So Black Hole sucks and doesn't do anything except waste people's time... Soooo.... definitely not a Cottage Rule violation, right?
  19. Y'all arguing about arguing in here? This isn't a complicated issue and there's not a lot of possible stances on it... you either think that they should keep the basic premise of a power intact when making changes... or you don't? Is there even a specific change up for debate?
  20. He's great... when he feels like helping.
  21. Make your stuff, homie. Nobody can stop you! The 6 people who play my mission won't notice or care and yours might be better anyway! About the difficulty... I want tension and panic! I hope you die! I want you scared. Seriously, though... thanks for checking my stuff out. Great feedback!
  22. This would be awesome. I suppose it would be a Back Detail, so it would be great to have options with a cape and without.
  23. Red bottoms gonna cost you 3 mil inluence buddy.
