Mainly, the first fix should be to reduce the cooldown on mass confuse to 2 minutes, or 2.5 minutes tops. also add damage to more of the MC CC abilities so Mind Control on trollers isnt so awful. -

People usually do have seizures when electrocuted. -

Time, Nature, and Kin are the new standard for buffs. Nerfing them would be absolutely stupid. Not everything needs to be nerfed to make it like FF. Given, I'm unimpressed enough with my treatment at the hands of some in the community I'm unlikely to be back soon, but if I ever return and see that they ruined the actually GOOD sets to please whiners, I will immediately uninstall, and dont think I'm the only one who would.

There existed a small to medium RP group with a JLA/2003 Teen Titans/Avengers like theme with decent leadership. I've been searching for something like that since HC went public, zero success, no ones accepting anyone new. I cant make one myself, dont have time to run my own. Since I cant find RP on COH, I'm done with it, until I find hope of it.

How would I find them? I wont touch the COH RP discord, the mods are really really bad. got perma muted for venting in a vent channel lol. and the people on it do nothing but point fingers at me becuase its clearly my fault people treat me poorly when I try to be friends. I am legitimately very bitter and angry by now. it will take more than one short good experience to erase the hatred I have towards a lot of nasty people I've found in this game sadly. Hoping such good experiences are even possible here.

I dont know how old you are, granted some people above the age of 50 may not like gameplay oriented games anymore. but I am 33 years old and raided in savage raids with a woman old enough to be my mother. its far from universal. If these people would say they simply dont like having gameplay, and play for other reasons, that'd be very different, but I'm seeing peoples rabid attacks on anyone who claims COH is not good at gameplay and combat- when it has one of the worst combat systems in an MMO I've ever seen. And that is FINE, since COH is good for OTHER REASONS. no one is asking to make it like FFXIV- we cant, it wont work, engine too old and so forth. -

Yet I play both and appreciate what both do well. What bothers me is not that these people dislike challenging combat and mechanics such as FFXIV has- its that they insist its a bad thing and is responsible for community issues- which is absolutely false, community issues exist independently, as HC so easily proves. Game mechanics arent that big a factor. -

I'd love to see Battalion content, as well as content which is more suited for solo with the more powerful 50+ characters, where you face off against top level world villains, as you team to take down well eating cosmic horrors. -

So long as its optional, preferably with increased influence gains- but tough enough most farm builds wont find it a good way to solo farm- it would be a good thing. -

No. becuase changing the content people already are happy with is a mistake. We could add a third tier of difficulty settings though, you know how now we can go up to +4/x8? well I want to see +4/x8 (Heroic), which adds all that new stuff you've mentioned on top of everything else. -

You can make CC and debuffs matter without changing how hard it is to survive, by adding enemies to team content such as TFs and itrials which have high resists+MOG mechanics so CC stops them from using their immunity crap. -

I find it amusing that people call actual mechanics and challenge "misfeatures" in games with less drama and community issues than COH has right now. the community in FFXIV is saintly compared to what I see almost daily in COH. and COH community isnt -bad- from an MMO community perspective. its just far from the utopia blind fanboys who worship the game as the perfect game ever claim it to be. -
In a game which does not have the huge creative freedom of COH, having fun and interesting combat is a necessity. It's not a bad thing to have fun, engaging combat. it's just not something possible to do for COH.

Becuase the current power levels are what keep most of us interested in playing. the power fantasy is far more important than "challenge" in this game where a fun challenge isnt even actually that possible. -

I agree with the OPs changes, and want them implemented asap. no need to nerf plant, buff what sucks, dont nerf what happens to be good. -

It'd damn have to be. some people enjoy being rewarded for their work building a character by feeling unstoppable. no need to ruin it. -
Creative Freedom, to sum up in only 2 words, is what makes COH great. no other game has done it as well yet. in COH your creative original character and build can be viable in anything. The fact the gameplay/combat system is garbage does not ruin the game, since it's still the best customization and creative freedom out there. So long as they don't try and focus on gameplay and challenge, the areas where COH is by far weakest, and focus on where it is actually strong, it will do well.

I would really like basic flag emblems for common nations at least, like the UK, USA, France, and so forth. My hero Black Avalon could really use a proper union jack emblem.

Just make them affect the caster... ffs, all of the defense buffs from Time affect the caster. and almost all to all of elec affinity ones can if it chains to you. there is no legitimate reason not to bring other buffs up to par.

the sets which focus on buffs which cant be applied to themselves are already underperformers in need of buffing. Kin doesn't count since kin is all about Fulcrum Shift- which applies to everyone.

No clue, but if its possible to at least make it that when casting an aoe buff on a nearby ally, it affects you as well (Force Fields, Speed Boost, etc) it would be a huge improvement to the game.
