Well COH is full of design flaws I'll give him that, but its also full of great things, which have merits that outweigh those flaws. COH didnt shut down becuase of the flaws, it shut down becuase NCsoft was run by people who dont understand overseas markets.

No, the name change is not warranted and you are not the arbiter of when it is warranted. the word Corona as a character name for a character who's bio and power theme is not disease related is fine, and forcing them to change it is the act of an idiot.

A system to make a signature power would not be hard to make. you'd choose a visual FX and a mechanical FX, and there would be some restrictions to prevent taking everything to be OP and nothing else, but you'd still get like 3-4 aspects to combine for a signature power. Maybe even allow people to have an emblem in the power FX, seperate from their SG emblem, a personal emblem. so my character Astera could have the Stellar Punch, a super heavy aoe exploding punch which shows a big yellow glowing star of the same kind as her chest emblem.

I would rather have a completely seperate non combat affecting RP skills pool to choose from. Things which you can use like emotes plus. maybe stuff related to skills or non combat powers.

I've done that although I dont think it was yesterday. Also I'd like pvp base invasions but we'd need to lose free base building or everyones base would be a long hallway full of sapper turrets.

Corona has nothing to do with COVID-19, the sun has one, its a word which means "Crown" and its a part of a Star. If someones name is just "Corona" and the character bears no resemblence to a disease theme, leave it alone or you are being a moron.

if my character has a heat shield most of the time the shield is invisible, it makes no sense to be on fire with fire armor unless specified. the option to hide FX hurts no one and helps most of us.

If you wont play an MMO because having to (OH NO!) group up with other players once in awhile is a deal breaker then MMOs are simply not for you. CoH attracts a lot of people who hate MMOs because its so different. I certainly respect the desire to solo, because solo content and ability to solo most things is just as important as team content quality, but no one said you have to be able to solo everything.

They need to add a no FX option to ALL armors. All of them. I'm sick of being on fire all the time just cuz I took fire epic armor from the epic pool. Sick of psychic armor making me glow pulsing rings.

Most games force you to team once in awhile, and even in random pugs in FFXIV people are so nice most of the time. DPS queues can be a pain but why not just pick up a tank job?

Speaking of costume change macro how do I bind a costume change with an animation? normally it skips the animation when I bind it.

Powerset respec is honestly common sense in a game like this, especially when some sets are just garbage- like Energy Melee. Not everyone is ok with being forced to re roll and re level, COH may be a game which is very alt friendly, and I myself am an altaholic in most games- but this should NOT be forced on anyone.

The change powerset I want most is change Energy Melee to be as good as Super Strength.

They are way too common. Lorewise, Hyur are the most populated race.

I have good news for you. it's not an Anime MMO. Anime refers to something else. It's a Japanese style CGI game as far as art goes- looks fantastic- and you wont be forced to be a catgirl or wascally wabbit if you dont want to. The lore and world is also really good compared to the vast majority of games.

Yeah the only time that kind of complaint is valid is generally when it is significantly disrupting the group- aka big knockback on Nova. one enemy being knocked out of a group? Calm down dude its not the end of the world and certainly not worth making a fuss over.

ESO also has all content remains relevant design- and it does it better than COH, but it was built using more modern tech and programming. in ESO your level means not so much since it all scales.

Because having knockback on a single target attack is SO terrible you victimize anyone you team with. well at least I know who NOT to ever group or interact with in game from this thread. yeesh people are children.
