Well, at those low levels you won't have many attacks but at max level your skill bar would look like this on a Black Mage: which is what Thaumaturge can and should be post lvl30ish: Each Data center is completely seperate like servers on COH. random groups in dungeons go across servers but NOT data centers. I am on the Crystal North American one, on Coeurl server. Unfortunately reasons I'd rather not discuss unexpectedly resulted in a hiatus from the game for me and I do not know when I will go back. Oh heres my Paladin skill bar, also level 80.

Then don't group with people you don't know. ever. you'll be wasting their time. not like anyone wants to play with someone like you who hates knockback to SUCH an unreasonable and immature degree, that anyone with it at all, even SINGLE TARGET need not apply. please give me your in game handle so I can make sure I do not have the misfortune of ever teaming with you.

If they made the buff not as good, but removed the crash, depending on the numbers adjusted it could be the same dps as pre change. -
It tends to be hit or miss whether people immediately like it since its a bit hand holdy and slow story progress at first- they have an update in a patch or two which is supposed to address the slow story prog- to get rid of some fillery stuff not needed for story. Combat doesn't come into its own till higher levels- but thats COH and most other MMOs as well. Keep in mind the free trial has some annoying limitations as a neccesary anti bot measure.. bots are a thing anyway in non expansion zones but it'd be a lot worse without those limitations. Namely, you cannot send tells, join a free company, or trade with other players. If you don't have friends there already, try Coeurl server on Crystal Data center. it's where I play, if you find me on there I can help you out if you need it, I didn't become a mentor there for no reason. my character is Sylvina Eon and theres no handles so, look for her.

Grow up, one enemy being occasionally knocked back doesn't even register as an annoyance. and FYI, I don't play KB very often. when I do, all my aoes KD instead becuase I have common sense. And since I do, I know that its pointless to bother putting it in a single target attack 99% of the time.

It's easy, fortunately for the players and their enjoyment of it. very few people would enjoy the game if it was hard with the same systems and mechanics.

No, but thats irrelevant, the problem with a crash that severe is the crash itself. its pretty terrible design. theres a reason powers like Nova no longer do, but the fixes arent done. -
ENT was made after ST canon was revised, it matched the canon at the time it was made in that regard- and a pre warp war with anyone, especially the Romulans would have ended in humans slaves to the romulans lol. Expanse is good for sure, but ENT didnt break canon even half as much as you claimed.

Star Trek history says there was NO ALIEN CONTACT humans knew about pre warp. plus, the Romulans had a HUGE head start on tech.. if Humans didnt have warp at the time there would not have BEEN a war. it would have been an easy conquest by the Roms. Do you even star trek nerd cuz... why would you think this? its confusing that you'd say that. NOT TO MENTION no one really witnessed the ferengi contact, so its perfectly fine since it would not be recorded history.

The main issue with rage is the crash. I dont mind changes to the powers so long as they maintain the fun feel and effectiveness, and general use. Hasten is needed to perma most things- and usually needed for Perma Dom mind you- without perma dom, doms are kinda bad post domination nerf. therefore hasten isn't a problem, changing it without changing a lot of others things is. -

I agree that I should not panic and I am not. I agree hasten isnt by itself essential to being powerful. However- I dont think nerfing hasten is the answer to anything. Super Strength Rage mechanic NEEDS changing- in a way which does not make the set any worse or too good. My suggestion for rage is either make it a normal build up (less interesting) and buff SS base damage, OR adjust its buff numbers and limit the stacking ability- but remove or make the crash a small debuff instead of the "hit like a tissue for 10 seconds" -

You cannot demand someone else "Choose" if you actually want choice, you would not be asking for nerfs. you would be asking for new and better options. I CHOOSE to play to relax and NOT have much of a challenge- if I want a challenge I go do Extreme trials or Savage Raids on FFXIV- becuase COH is not capable of ever providing a fun challenge with the way the engine and combat system works. if you just have no experience with better and are very easy to please, then at least ask for new options for challenge instead of demanding to take away fun from most of the game. You are 100% correct hasten does not need to be made innate or nerfed, a better solution to the problem of hasten being so much better than most other pool powers exists. Make those pool powers good too! -
If that change is made it would be playerside only. ez fix. sleep is actually fine as it is on NPCs, its when players use it its trash.

Becuase nerfing aoe is totally going to improve the game... slow clap with eyeroll... Aoe is almost synomymous with character power in this game. leave it alone, and give sets (not stalker) which have very little (Energy melee for instance) more effective aoe. If sleep works poorly with aoe, fix sleep, dont ruin aoe. I agree with Agent Forest, each set sleep should do its own secondary thing.

Why are you questioning whether I do? I made a factual statement that you cant accurately know how much damage someone is doing without a way of actually getting those numbers.

The main playstyle which relies on it is... Be awesome and feel like a top notch superhero. something people who ask for nerfs instead of ways they can choose for extra challenge clearly dislike. -
Yeah but how can you even begin to judge how good people are at doing damage when... theres no way to gauge how much they do in a given period of time in combat outside watching a bajillion orange numbers fly by- numbers which dont even show if too many people hit the same target?

Add Mounted Transport as an Auxillary Power Pool?

I would love to be able to go into battle riding my flying motorcycle. not a vehicle, a travel power, like any other REAL travel power in COH- one I can FIGHT while using. It might be difficult becuase you'd need new power animations since your character would always be in a different and more static position while mounted. -
Add a visual option which uses the same spine graphics- but WITHOUT the upper arm/leg/back spines sticking out. Just have spines on the forearm lined up kinda nicely. This would make spines a much MUCH less ugly set for those who dislike the pincushion look. Also, if possible allow us to color that damage aura which shoots spines off our body.

The list is extremely extremely long. Nerfing Hasten isn't even remotely an option avaliable if they want to manage the game decently. Making it inherent would be the only change which could be made without causing damage UNLESS they adjusted the 50 bajillion powers which suck without it. The people asking for nerfs need to just CUT IT THE HELL OUT. They would ruin the fun of others for their own selfish ideas. Instead of mindlessly demanding nerfs, ask for new ways to increase the "Challenge" (lol as if COH is capable of a FUN challenge but I digress) there could easily be another tier of difficulty which adds new attacks and abilities to enemies, and changes the makeup of groups to include higher ranks, rather than raising their levels. If your suggestion for the game would ruin someone elses fun- reconsider since it's probably not a good idea. a hasten nerf would be one of the biggest nerfs to happen in COH since ED. and you know the backlash from that. -
NO CONE should -ever- have a width of less than 45 degrees. NEVER. less than 45 degrees you end up with a "Cone" which hits 2-3 targets maximum when fired into a tighly packed group. Buff any cone below 45 degrees to at least 45 degrees, cones above t3 should be 50+ degrees, preferably 70-80 degrees if not very long ranged.

Adding auras would be nice too. Also we can have "Dark" powers, please let us do the same with auras. If I have an edgy character who "glows" with a black energy, I want their eyes to be able to "glow" black.

Just no to anything which reduces your survivability significantly. People want to tank with this set on Tanker/Brute. don't make it an anti tank set.
