The late-life development of quality over quantity was starting to show as the legacy servers came to an end. But the game is still dragging around a lot of content with the opposite mindset. It's pretty clear that HC are following suit. The new blueside arc on beta is full of surprises (yet to try the redside one, but it's the one thing that has me most excited).
I'd love to see every arc given its own flair. It's just a huge undertaking.
They're gone from world vendors but can still be purchased in SG bases.

I'm not sure what you mean. Nothing has been removed, the update only makes lower level SOs more accessible.
To my knowledge, nothing has changed in terms of pricing.
If they're unaffordable, TOs and DOs are still available for the short term, just as before.

No. I've tried a lot. The proc rate should be 11% (according to Bopper, who I trust with numbers), but it never fired off at all as far as I could tell.
In the new launcher structure? Have you checked in the i24 folder? I don't know the names of the energy melee sounds specifically (because nobody knew how to name things back in 2004) but I think they'll be in there.
Have you given it a go, ThunderCAP? You can easily ignore the TF>ET combo and still be very effective - more than on live from what I gather.
The mechanic doesn't have to affect you if you don't want it to, and you'll still be buffed.
There's no need to get the accolades on all the maps. The one to Atlas plants you on the doorstep of the tram, where you're in spitting distance of the TUNNEL portal too. That's a lot of zone access right there.
The new base portal portal is very nice.
I think all the powers could still stand to shave off a little bit off cooldown, and the 10s activation time still feels excessive on some of them to me. But I really like that we have so many organic options for getting around the city.
I think you're right. I just started watching out for this and didn't see it proc.
I thought that would be an amazing place to have it, but it's just not happening.
Playing casually on an SO build with the ATOs.
Honestly it feels really good. Bashing down single targets is really fast paced and the TF>ET combo feels good. It's much slower to chew through groups, but I think that's how this is meant to feel.
Power Crash feels a little too feeble to me so far. Maybe on higher difficulty when groups are tighter I'll feel it more, especially with the additional targets from Energy Focus.

I've not finished it yet, but one thing stood out
Other than that, this is fabulous so far. The depth of new lore feels really good to start dipping into and Piecemeal's dialogue on the Freakshow is constantly delightful!
Would it be correct to say that Total Focus is the only way to get Energy Focus? (Unlike in the Dom variety where any ST attack on a stunned target has a chance for Energy Focus?)
