    Don't do DFB after level 5. The best thing to do after level 5 is give up on your dreams of being a superhero, hang up the cape and spend time with your family who love you. They miss you.

    Man, this wasn't even on my radar until right now. Absolute shipwreck. I was disappointed and sad for the devs for a bit. Then I looked around, followed the breadcrumbs a little. It looks to me like a failure to empathise at all with potential players, both in design decisions and in the way they conduct themselves. There are fundamental lessons to be learned here.

    Astronomically low. But I'm surprised that another freeform customisation superhero game hasn't popped up in the last decade of big-screen superhero revitalisation, MMO or otherwise. Feels like it would have been a slam-dunk a few years ago, but I think superhero fatigue has set in since.

    I believe there's conceptual space for Hero vs Villain zones without the PvP. More like cold war style jabs against the other side for, perhaps, zone control or resources rather than straight up PvP. Like imagine both sides trying to influence Boomtown reconstruction, for example. But straight up PvP? Others have conveyed how I'd feel well enough.

    I've mostly stopped playing now, and I think this is the main reason I can't bring myself to get back into it. I know the whole facerolling everything feels superheroic to some folks, which is awesome and I never want to deny anyone of that. But it didn't really stay interesting for me. It feels too much like winning because the enemy is incompetent, and not because I or my character is competent. It's like all the satisfaction of beating a 4-year-old at Mario Kart. I know there are instances of challenge in the game, but I've done them. And there are other games that do suit me.
