  1. I think this October has been ace this year. I'm sad that I've not had much time to play it, but really happy that there's been a nice long event so I can make use of the time I do have. The two eternal night weeks is a great compromise. 👍
  2. I endorse this idea megabigtime. I don't think it necessarily needs to tie in to roleplay, I know a lot of non-RPers like to write bios and develop their headcanon, including myself. Maybe alongside art & Multimedia is a better spot? I personally think it would warrant its own forum. A system of accessing it from in game info screens would be amazing, as long as its secure and perhaps exclusively links to forum topics here on these boards.
  3. I also read a lot of bios during downtimes, but I'd definitely draw the line over a certain length. The amount people are willing to read is a much better factor to limit by than the amount people are willing to write.
  4. We found the Tabula Scr- Scutum.
  5. There's no very robust way to collect that sort of data, sadly. While I do disagree that the command needs to stay, I agree that you should be welcome to state your thoughts on it and that this should be a place that you are free to do so.
  6. I'm taking a break from making new alts for a while. *sweats*
  7. TWANG is such a fun bunch. ❤️
  8. This is tragic. RM brought so much to this game and this community. Rest in peace. ❤️
  9. RM is known for writing a pretty dang significant number of guides for all sorts of things for CoH. He's often on discord, reliably first to the scene whenever someone is in need of help.
  10. Brilliant! Given it a shot. AVG hated trying to install it; I ended up switching AVG off for the install. Once it got going, having stuff transferred from the tequila install was utterly seamless and the game looks like nothing has changed. Game installation was less than a minute for me. I had to add the install folder to my AVG exceptions. But honestly this is just making me think how much I need something that isn't AVG. Had one instance where the game crashed after launching, then loaded itself up again. It's not happened twice.
  11. I associate plant stings with burning feelings. But, I mean, not denying that second thing. ¬_¬
  12. This thread is marked as hot right now. Seems appropriate.
  13. I don't think 8-man hami is necessarily symptomatic of power creep. I see power creep as an increase in average player power vs average environment power - which has definitely happened. But this is still a very impressive edge case.
  14. Just to add a different voice, I do think that the work of CoH fans on other servers is a good thing. I think it's great that this game can carry on through a variety of visions.
  15. I feel like the conclusion of your post is that farming is, in fact, the most efficient way to farm. But I mean yeah, I've always found just playing the content awards plenty.
  16. If you gain all the badges and then lose all the badges, you get a badge.
  17. Throw - Ermine, a ???/Martial Dominator who is waiting for some sort of natural control set. Hope - Miss Hyperion, a Grav/NRG Dominator and probably the only hero I have who actually cares about saving the city without some ulterior motive. Disgusting - Acid, a Water/Poison Defender in a containment suit to keep in all his disgustingness. Kinda starting to phone it in at this point. I kinda regret not having shaded with black and sticking to mid-tones. I'll do one more, I reckon, and then finish there.
  18. I know. 😭 And I missed the glorious Doc Buzzsaw. I haven't had time to play all week. *sobs*
  19. ❤️ Hope he'll pull through. He's such a good member of this community.
  20. Haha, I did wonder if it wasn't clear, so I edited.
  21. You fiend!
  22. Pretty much that! The repair cafe movement was something that started in the Netherlands and took off across the world. Ours was a monthly volunteer operation which got remarkable traction, so much so that we managed to get some solid research out of it. An existing cafe hosted us. Alas, for obvious reasons, it had to stop this year.
  23. If everyone was EmmySky, everyone would get along.
