  1. What: Darkness and Despair (Dark Superteam) Where: Excelsior When: Sundays at 8pm Eastern US (first meeting on 22 Nov) Who: The Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Indomitable Sonic, and Excelsior Nature, Knockback, Electric, and Thermal/Cold Superteams) Why: FUN, fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Darkness and Despair Superteam where we'll leverage the power of the Netherworld to steamroll difficult content. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Any AT with at least one powerset with "Dark" in the name. Bonus points for both being Dark powersets. Maneuvers with 2 slots worth of Def enhancements by level 20. The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Assault Tactics Other team-focused powers are great too: Vengeance, Victory Rush, Weaken Resolve, Spirit Ward, TP, and Medicine Pool are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. Miscellaneous Details: Our first meeting will take place Sunday, Nov 22, 2020 at 8pm EST on the Nova Praetoria star on Excelsior. Feel free to show up fresh from the tutorial (or even skip it). We'll be coordinating the group through use of a global channel named "Justice Superteamers". Everyone participating on this team must join the channel. (/chan_join "Justice Superteamers"). We also have a Discord channel for out of game and voice communication. We have an SG to join as well, but it is not required. I'm sure our top notch base builder will have a fun base with teleporters, trainers, vendors, and enhancement bins with Common IOs available while levelilng. We'll start in Praetoria and run arcs and events there, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what Paragon and the Rogue Isles have to offer. We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, Tips, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc). There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier. Feel free to show up late, roll a 2nd alt, etc. Super-Sidekick makes teaming incredibly easy. If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level, any time. Just note that if you're significantly beyond the rest of the team in terms of level, you should expect to exemplar down to the rest of the team most of the time. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to post here or send a /t or email to @Perfect Square, @Hedgefund, or @EF in-game.
  2. Thanks for the information. So, if you hit a point where it says you can go undercover, you can physically go to Underground Neutropolis or Nova and talk with them directly to divert the mission to the "undercover" option? How does it determine your "praetorian alignment" in this case? I assume you can access all the areas where these contacts are via flashback, regardless of current alignment.
  3. Sorry for a bit of Necro, but before starting following this great guide, I wanted to clarify: By "opposing faction", does this mean opposite of how you are currently aligned or opposite of what you chose in tutorial? I'm assuming the latter, which also implies that you can only do one side of the "undercover" missions on a character and would have to go through twice to truly see all the options. I have confirmed that ndercover missions cannot be done via Ouro. You are in TF mode and are locked out of all contacts other than the current one (therefore, can't call Scott or Marchand).
  4. It was great to have you @Wormy_SidIt is a pretty good group of folks. We had a few regulars out last night so it's only better when you have 6-7 shields on you with our bigger teams. Hope to see you again. Remember to grab Common IOs from the base once you get your build figured out if you still need them.
  5. So, it sounds like your original statement was correct: It already works the way I want it to; I just found some crazy bug that only manifests in unusual scenarios. Lucky me! But good to know my feature request is already complete. 😄 Thanks again, @CrudeVileTerror. Or should I call you PoliteNiceTranquility?
  6. Hmmm, great info there. I probably should do some additional testing myself. Thank you for taking the time to test and report the results. However, I submitted this as a bug, and was explicitly told by a member of the GM team "If the custom chat channels a player joins are only present in a single tab, and that tab is deleted, the custom channels are lost." And a link to this forum was included to submit a change request so here I am. Clearly, by your tests, that is not always the case. Perhaps there is something special about the default "Chat" channel. It sounds like we agree that your channel subscriptions and selected channels in a tab should not be linked. I am certain that I right clicked on the main "Chat" tab, clicked <something> in that menu, and the "Chat" tab was removed and I left all my subscribed channels. I had a very large number of them since I play on all the servers so am certain I didn't accidently click "Leave Channel" on each one (and there is no "Leave All Channels" that I've seen). Either way, hoping it will get a little attention at some point and it will get changed.
  7. Current functionality: If the custom chat channels a player joins are only present in a single tab for the current character, and that tab is deleted, the custom channels are left/unsubscribed/lost. Even though the channels are account wide and may be on the tabs of other characters, the account leaves all those channels. Desired functionality: Do not leave custom chat channels when editing tabs. Remove the functionality that checks if that channel is only on the tab you are removing and, if so, leaves it. The only way to leave a custom channel is to explicitly "Leave Channel" for each one. (Or be kicked by an operator, of course). Rationale: While adding/removing channels to tabs is on a per character basis, joining/leaving channels is account-wide. Therefore, the actions of arranging a single character's tabs should not affect other characters nor an account's channel subscriptions. In my case, this functionality was brought to light by a misclicked "Delete Tab" on my main Chat window and leaving all my channels (including ones I was operator on), but I do see a valid use case for removing tabs on a single characters while keeping both other character's tabs and channel subscription list intact. I don't really see a valid use case for leaving all subscribed channels when removing a tab that had those channels on it.
  8. @Wormy_SidSorry for the late reply, but we are definitely still active and I imagine we will be for a couple more months or more (when you see us advertising our next Friday project). Come on out. Most of the regulars are in their 40s, but we'll get you in regardless of level. We have several folks (and I have an alt) in the 20-25 range. We're running mostly +3x8 "defeat everything we see" with double XP boosters on so levels will go fast! /chan_join "Justice Superteamers" and ask for an invite. PS - We are running on Sunday nights (tonight) too. Same time, starting up 8-8:30pm US EDT if you want to grab some catch up levels. Sunday nights are technically Electric project, but we've moved on to whatever you want to play at this point.
  9. @HoundsToothWere you able to make it out on Friday? We had some new faces. If so, hope to see you again this week. If not, fear not, you can still roll up a lowbie and join us this week! We always include whomever comes out regardless of level, especially early in a new project. Hedgefund and I (and several others I'm sure) have low level alts ready to join folks that missed the first week or 2. Come on out Fridays at 8pm EDT and holler in the "Justice Superteamers" channel for an invite.
  10. Sorry for the necro, but I just had a moment of karma and thought of this post. As most suspected, my overbidder either never checked here or didn't care enough to contact me. But it all comes around as I just paid 20,000,555 for a Performance Shifter proc a couple days ago. Congrats to the lucky seller! PSA: Watch those fat fingers before placing bids! For those of us who use both sides of the market a fair amount, I bet it evens out most of the time; but I still feel bad for a casual player losing a large chunk of their bankroll on an overbid. So, I'll continue to post mine when I receive them. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone who needs it is reading this forum...
  11. What: Fire and Freeze (Thermal Radiation and Cold Domination Superteam) Where: Excelsior (first meeting under Atlas) When: Fridays at 8pm Eastern US (first meeting on 18 Sept) Who: The Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Indomitable Sonic, and Excelsior Nature, Knockback, and Electric Superteams) Why: FUN, Fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Fire and Freeze Superteam where we'll leverage the power of Thermal Radiation and Cold Domination sets to steamroll difficult content. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors and Masterminds with the Thermal Radiation or Cold Domination Support power sets. No specific blast, control, or minion set is required. Pair your Cold or Thermal with whatever you'd like. The following are required powers and minimum slotting: Cold Domination: Ice Shield (2 Def), Glacial Shield (2 Def), Arctic Fog (2 Def), Benumb (Acc, 2 Rech), Sleet (2 Rech), Heat Loss (Acc, 2 Rech), Assault from the Leadership Pool Thermal Radiation: Fire Shield (2 Res), Plasma Shield (2 Res), Thaw, Forge (2 Rech), Heat Exhaustion (Acc, 2 Rech), Melt Armor (Acc, 2 Rech), Maneuvers (2 Def) from the Leadership Pool The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Maneuvers(Cold)/Assault(Thermal) Frostwork(Cold)/Power of the Phoenix (Thermal) Tactics Heals (Thermal) Other team-focused powers are great too: Vengeance, Victory Rush, Weaken Resolve, Spirit Ward, TP, and Resuscitate are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. We also have a Discord channel for out of game and voice communication as well. We'll start in Paragon with a DFB, Hollows arcs, and scanners/banks, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what the Rogue Isles have to offer. We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, Tips, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc). There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. Please keep power customization colors to teaming friendly options, especially the ally shields. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to post here or send a /t or email to @Perfect Square, @Hedgefund, or @EF in-game.
  12. Persona pretty much covered it, but there is no space between super and teamers. /chanjoin "Justice Superteamers" is what you want. No minimum level. Play whatever AT you want, but I was simply mentioning corruptors because they are the highest damaging AT that can take Electric Affinity and we are already running high difficulty content fairly safely, if not quickly, so more damage is better than better buffs for most of our teams. The requirement is to take a single electric set (and Maneuvers from Leadership). Many of us took both for thematic reasons, but it's not required. Looks like you joined our channel and Discord successfully. Welcome! Look forward to teaming on Sunday.
  13. @11Troy11We're STILL doing it and it's not too late to join us. Bring any electric alt out or roll up a new one for Sunday 8pm EDT/5pm PDT. Many of us paired it with other electric powers (control or blast), but just about anything is great on our teams. It has been super safe so the additional damage of a corruptor is ideal, but play anything that sounds fun (within the guidelines above). We've only had 2 sessions and you will catch up quickly. Feel free to grab a few levels before Sunday if you like, but if not, I still have a level 7 alt I'll run with you and other members of the group are always willing to play lower level alts or exemplar down to help us. Come on out! It's unlikely we'll do THIS project again any time soon, but we're always doing something like this. We have 2 projects running concurrently now, with our all KB Social Distancing team on Fridays. After those 2 have run their course (usually takes many months and we're splitting time on these), we'll come up with a new ST theme and do it all again. /chanjoin "Justice Superteamers" to look for teams, chat with the group, and be notified of new projects via MOTD.
  14. Great teaming with you last night @InfamousBrad! Glad you found us on Discord and in game channel "Justice Superteamers". Still open if new folks want to join in the zapping. Our base is also open for visitors with teleporters, trainers, vendors, etc. by typing: /enter_base_from_passcode JST-10680
  15. We've had two sessions so far and it's more fun and chaotic than I had hoped. Force Field ended up being a popular pick so we are perma softcapped as well. It's not too late to join us and we'll make sure to run content for everyone who wants to join, but we're looking to move out of Praetoria soon so I suggest rolling in Paragon if you're starting fresh. We do have a fun base up and running. Feel free to visit it by using /enterbasefrompasscode KNOCK-10679
  16. Great point, Shocktacular. We had previously discussed this on our Discord and weren't exactly sure how these would interact. We noted that, since Homecoming, Knockdown powers still function correctly on immobilized enemies and Mids shows that some Immobs apply negative KB and some don't. We were going to see how it played out, but if any power completely nullifies KB, it will be discouraged during teaming sessions.
  17. What: Electric themed Superteam Where: Excelsior - (first meeting near Arbiter Richard in Mercy) When: Sundays at 8pm Eastern US (first meeting on 10 May) Who: Brought to you by the Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Sonic, and Nature Superteams). We're also currently running a Social Distancing team on Fri nights. Why: FUN, Fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Electric themed Superteam. With the recent release of Electrical Affinity, we want to harness the power of electricity to steamroll content and take on difficult challenges. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Any Electric Powerset. Bonus points if both Primary and Secondary are Electric. We should have plenty of stacked buffs from EA, but it is not required. You must include Maneuvers in your build for team defense The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Aid Other Assault Tactics Other team-focused powers are great too: Veng, TP, and Resuscitate are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. Miscellaneous Details: Our first meeting will take place Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 8pm EDT near Arbiter Richard in Mercy. Feel free to show up fresh from the tutorial (or even skip it). 18. What: Knockback themed Superteam that practices "Social Distancing" by knocking enemies far away! Where: Excelsior - On the star in Nova Praetoria When: Fridays at 8pm Eastern US (first meeting on 8 May) Who: Brought to you by the Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Sonic, and Nature Superteams). We're also currently running an Electric team on Sunday nights. Why: FUN, Fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Social Distancing themed Superteam. We want to harness the power of Knockback powers to keep people at least 6 (or 60) feet away! In addition to being socially relevant for many of us, it allows players to take and slot fun KB powers that are often shunned in normal teaming. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Pretty loose with this one. You can use any build with access to several knockback/repel powers. These powers should be taken early, used often in combat, and slotted for at least 1 KB enh. Examples of sets with good KB/repel are: Force Field Storm Energy Blast/Assault Assault Rifle Martial Combat Peacebringer Melee builds or builds that use "patches" that require the enemies to stay in one place should only be used if you know what you're getting into. Miscellaneous Details: Feel free to get into the social distancing theme with your costume too. Masks, gloves, and helmets are encouraged on this team. Our first meeting will take place Friday, May 8, 2020 at 8pm EDT on the giant star in Nova Praetoria. We'll start in Praetoria where most heroes are self quarantining, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what Paragon and the Rogue Isles have to offer. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to post here or send a /t or email to @Perfect Square, @Hedgefund, or @EF in-game.
  19. If you accidentally added a '0' or 2 and paid 25,000,000 for something on 2/24 or 2/25, let me know. Send me a screen shot, identify the item, etc. and we'll see about getting you your money back.
  20. We had a great time last night! 2 teams going most of the evening with some folks going 1-23 in the session. Thanks to everyone who came out; hope to see you again soon. If you missed last night but want to join in, come on out! We're very lowbie friendly and make sure you're not left out of the teaming. With all the Plant Control and buffs from Nature and Storm, the team was very survivable with deaths only happening when folks were away from the team, even at upgraded difficulty. I'll probably even bring out my lowbie Water/Plant blaster on Sunday to help lower levels and get some more damage going. Every Fri and Sun at 8pm EST. /chanjoin "Justice Superteamers" for an invite.
  21. I have been told it is two different ACCOUNTS, not just characters. Can anyone confirm that they have successfully purchased between 2 different characters on the same account?
  22. What: Nature themed Superteam featuring Plant, Nature, and Storm power sets Where: Excelsior When: Fridays and Sundays at 8pm Eastern US (first meeting on 2/21) Who: Brought to you by the Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, and Indomitable Sonic Superteams) Why: FUN, Fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Nature themed Superteam. We want to harness the power of Mother Nature through Plant, Nature, and Storm based powers to steamroll content and take on difficult challenges. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: You must take at least one of the following power sets (any AT with access to any of these is fine): Nature Affinity Storm Summoning Plant Control Plant Manipulation You must include Maneuvers in your build for team defense The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Aid Other Assault Tactics Other team-focused powers are great too: Veng, TP, and Resuscitate are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. Miscellaneous Details: Our first meeting will take place Friday, Feb 21, 2020 at 8pm EST under the Atlas statue on Excelsior. We'll start in Paragon with some DFBs and KR scanners/banks, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what the Rogue Isles have to offer. We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, Tips, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc). There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. 23. The official thread now says this: Is that date (Nov 18) a mistake or is there another one starting 11/11?
  24. Thanks to the team and to our great community for their generosity. FWIW, this is my plan for donations: For me, I would ideally like to donate a specific amount each month, let's say it's $20 for the illustration. Since I don't want to race to get a donation in before the window closes and the fervor for the game is so high that they have no trouble meeting their needs quickly, I simply earmark that money. In my head, I've donated it. It just happens to reside in my account for the time being. Perhaps in a couple years, there will be some large legal costs that need offsetting. Maybe in 5 years, we have some technical expenses that make one month 10 times as much as usual. Possibly, in 10 years, the fervor will die down to the point that we can't collect enough one month. THAT's when my $240, $1200, or $2400 in donations will be transferred in.
  25. We're cranking up again this week! Come out and join us on your Sonic Resonance alts. All levels welcome, we'll make sure any new characters get on a team and get caught up quickly!
