  1. The simple solution, then, is to give them a basic attack and a minimal XP value. Otherwise they break the whole risk vs reward formula by increasing risk in non-player-created maps where they heal your enemies.
  2. I never pay attention to it, but does defeating the computer that controls the robots offer an XP reward? It doesn't do damage, but it directly controls the robots that are doing damage to you. I feel the same way about portals that summon rikti or demons; if we don't get XP for the summoned critters, we should at least get something for the thing that summons them. As for the healers, I have to agree with the sentiment that they are increasing the risk by healing other mobs that wouldn't buff themselves. You should get a nominal XP reward for such things. As for the DE emanators, those are dropped by certain DE critters themselves, so technically acting like a toggle power and the XP value of the critters that drop them should have that factored into them already. But Surgeons are free roaming critters.
  3. Neither. I use the long range teleporter to go straight there without running to the train or having to zone load twice.
  4. Kim Possible in a gritty cyborg-filled future.
  5. Agreed. It's one thing to see a list of what's available or pics of the costumes/effects, but specifically being able to see how the effects will look after you modify them in the costume editor (as powers) really should be done on the test server where you can mess around with all of it at no cost.
  6. Manticore & Griffin Girl
  7. GG: Can I join your TF? Manti: Get lost, kid. This is dangerous work. GG: I have a shield. Manti: You're level 10. GG: SK me. Manti: It doesn't work that way.
  8. Those are my flavors, but especially Mountain Dew Duplicity and Dr Pepper Widow's Kiss
  9. I've seen a couple of young versions of major NPCs like a Tyrant Junior, Kid Nemesis, and so on and thought about creating one of my own. Instead, I made Griffin Girl as a wannabe sidekick for Manticore since Swan seems to have outgrown him. I'm not entirely sold on the hood, but I like the shape of it and the two-tone nature lets me blend it with the feathered cape. I might switch to or make a 2nd costume helmeted version. Initially I was going to make her as an Archery/Martial blaster so she could mirror his bow and arrow theme but also do a little hand-to-hand fighting, but I opted for a Street/Shield stalker because I wanted to put the eagle emblem somewhere other than her chest.
  10. Kheldians are an interesting distraction, but yeah they can be pretty boring.
  11. Red sucks. I don't want to be a minion or even a boss that ultimately answers to someone else. The allure of being evil should be being able to do my own thing, but the mission arcs seem limited to making you someone else's tool.
  12. I know, right? When I'm not playing from home, I often play from my smart phone's hotspot as my internet connection.
  13. Top 5 for me are mostly costume related: 5. Not enough asymmetrical options -- greatly eased when they added the asymmetrical boots, gloves, and shoulder options 4. Old auras not getting updated to match newer auras options (some don't have eye options, some don't have individual hand options, etc) 3. Sunglasses and earmuffs are on the same costume slot, making them mutually exclusive 2. No butt cape options outside of widows and trench coats 1. Self-rezzing enemies. I just hate it when they get back up after I've "arrested" them
  14. Powers generally have built-in safegaurds. Super strength includes stronger bones, super hearing has either an ability to filter out the excess noise or a brain that can handle the additional audio stimuli. Super speed includes the ability to overcome friction burns. Perhaps out of phase individuals don't move from their spot unless they will themselves to.
  15. It's not a control set without a single target hold and single target immobilize This seems more like a lack of control set
  16. Demonic bargains are never as simple as they seem
  17. Do people really feel they need to squeeze in all the content on each character? You have 1000 character slots. Look for those missed contacts and content with alternate characters instead of trying to make each character living an over-full life.
  18. Or they may like you a real lot but need you to lose a fight to get time to play out the way they think it needs to go.
  19. You might not be the good guy in the Mender's eyes
  20. Looks to me like they're promising content in Kallisti Wharf. I see Warriors, Crey, and possibly DE being added for street spawns and missions. No going back on it now with talk of "nothing is finalized" nonsense. 😉 Since the zone is hero/villain co-op, will we see things like police and Crey being treated as semi-neutral spawns that can be provoked into battle by attacking them, depending on alignment? How will Nemesis and his many plots figure into all of this? And what is up with the police drones in KW? Are they private security or is the Wharf meant to be adjacent to Paragon City but actually a separate city with its own police force and other details? I'm really looking forward to all of this, but I am especially curious about that Ouroboros pic. New symbol added to the ground where the portal should be. New management with new goals? Is the portal moved or just disabled for this pic to give us a better look at the symbol to make us all wonder about the future?
