yup. I see the +3 in Atlas Park from time to time but I just assumed they were visiting while they have an active mission in DA.

At the very least Injection should have an option for the syringe animation in the experimentation pool

Mastery could be fun but I'd rather have SS primary/secondary for blasters with the blast set proliferated to corrs and defs, and a hybrid blast & melee assault set for doms. the blast side could be primarily just hurling different sized rocks & other objects and bigger radius for hand clap. rage and crash like standard SS, too.

as I recall, the little bit of animation involved in adding the innertube emote was a huge amount of work

It's a portal. If you stand next to it too long, have it drop you into a random area of a random zone. Fun places like Eden, Cimerora, the Storm Palace, the Easter Egg room in Faultline, inside the BAF, or the outskirts of the Nightward. Better, have it drop people into an instanced mission map that can't be won or quit out of; the only escape is dying or finding & clicking on a hidden door.

Really enjoying this, but I only learned about it yesterday and hear it's going to end Tuesday. You know what would be a great April Fools prank? To extend it for another week.

Marvel had an Ares limited series during the Norman Osborn Dark Avengers arc, and in it we see one of Osborn's soldiers training under Ares observing how the god of war goes from powerhouse brute that rides a bomb Slim Pickens style down to the target then starts stalking the halls as stealthily as a ninja. Power sets are skills and abilities and AT is how an individual chooses to use those abilities. I'd love to see every set proliferated where ever possible and let people choose how to interpret their choices. TW/Invul stalker would be no worse than Stone/Fire stalker, and a Ninjitsu/Katana tanker would be just a different flavor of SR/Broad sword. SS on scrapper makes as much sense as anything else. Definitelt makes more sense than saying tanks are power houses and can use ever fighting style but scraps can't be super strong because they're skilled fighters.

You could replace the long term damage buff with a Build Up effect and then rebalance the base damage of the attacks around that. All the other melee sets seem to work fine without rage, so could SS.

It would be easier to copy the existing mechanic and balance of it than to code a new variant of it that only lasts for a few shots. Nothing wrong with borrowing against what already works and applying it to a different theme with different effects than what DP has.
