  2. That costume with lightning bolt emblem made me think "Bug Zapper"
  3. Set locations in every zone where there's a restaurant on the map and create a new Day Job called "Fast Food Worker" It gives no bonus but gives you a badge and -25% to inf. and XP because your real life day job is a time sink that hurts your hero life.
  4. I'd love to see the music notes effect from symphony control be added as a Path Aura......maybe mix it up a bit with a large one that follows you like the Streak aura and another that's a pair of smaller paths that follow your feet so it can look like you're being carried along by the music.
  5. This, for sure, is a great way to solo. Great AOE damage and fun, plus run and hide if things start to get overwhelming.
  6. Considering that the development team is entirely volunteer with no financing available to develop such content, this is very unlikely to ever happen.....but not impossible.
  7. Lots of possibilities. Why not a psionic melee/psionic armor stalker? Sneak around like a ghost, then strike at them with a mix of psychic energy and fist-like projections... poltergeist? Mass Levitate. Possession? Boggle those bastards. Have fun with it.
  8. Wind control. It was not developed by any other server, it was only completed by them. Wind control existed prior to HC or any of the other illegitimate servers. And since then, HC has become legitimate. There is no reason not to finish something that was started by the original developers. Another server created water control and HC doesn't want to copy that, okay... stupid, but I can accept that. Wind control doesn't belong to anyone just because they finished it first.

  13. I would have thought my last sentence clarified my position that the movies weren't boring because "In other words, no. It's not the lack of dramatic action animation that's boring, it's what you choose to do with it that makes it pass or fail." as in, they did a great job with the effects and humor and story in general that made up for any lack of ninja like action sequences.
  14. Ghostbusters (all versions, movie and animated) are incredibly boring because they just stand there and blast ghosts with their beam rifles. Terrible action. Just awful. Ghostbusters alone should be the selling point of this topic in the original post. In other words, no. It's not the lack of dramatic action animation that's boring, it's what you choose to do with it that makes it pass or fail.
  15. I wouldn't mind seeing the flaming battle axe added as an attack option for the flaming sword attacks.

  17. I'm not against clown-themed henchmen, but I am against clowns as a power set because it could devolve into utter silliness that I just don't like. This is why we really need customizable henchmen. In a world where people dress in all kinds of crazy costumes, I have no issue with the idea of mercenaries or thugs dressed like clowns, zombie-clowns, or even robot clowns......let them function as their standard powerset. But once pie throwing becomes a power, I'm out.
  18. So much has been added to the base editor that it is shocking that workarounds are needed for something so simple as walls with doorways.
  19. I'd be for a "shieldless" shield option. Make the shield just another costume piece, and if I want to shield myself with just an armored up left arm or even say I'm deflecting attacks with my bare arm because it's virtually invulnerable or has an invisible shield, that's fine. Not having a visible shield does not remove the shield set's identity any more than minimalizing the visual effects on invulnerability doesn't change what it is and does.
  20. I suggested porting SS to scrappers and stalkers, but now I'm thinking we need a super strength ranged attack set. It's all throwing attacks.....Throw Rock, Throw Bigger Rock, Hurl Boulder, Foot Stomp, and the tier 9 power can be Hurl Everything But the Kitchen Sink where you combine the Hurl animation and the Propel effect of random objects as your weapons. Give me Rage (with crash) on blaster scale damage, please & thank you.

  22. Don't lump me in with him. I don't want that balance... I'm just saying that this is the way to achieve it. Personally, I love that there's imbalance in things... what you lack in one area, you make up for in another.

How to balance the game: All ATs must have equal damage All ATs must have equal defense & resistance All ATs must have equal stun, immobilize, sleep, stun ability All power sets must have equal range... split the melee/ranged difference by halving the distance of ranged attacks and giving the same range to melee All fun must be homogenized and boring All enhancements grant the same bonus regardless of level an origin Take away set bonuses Incarnate powers available at level 5 and scale appropriately ONLY THEN will true balance be achieved
