Cancelling because you got a bad draw kind of defeats the purpose of the random nature of the power. It's fortune telling, not "Go Fish". You don't like the result you got? Too bad, them's the breaks. Fate can be a hash mistress. Don't want to risk it? Visit Null the Gull and turn off accepting this buff power. I think there should be more results, though maybe keep their power in line with the existing options and don't lean too hard into the into the idea of putting negatives into more than a couple of them. If the idea is good and they want to use it, then the devs can figure out where the balance should be.

I hate to be the guy that jumps on the bandwagon, but I just thought that now's a good time to let you all know I'm leaving, and I think the reason why goes without saying. It's late, and there's only so much of this community I can take before I need a long nap to recharge my batteries so I can laugh some more. I shall return later.....after my nap and a large cup of coffee.

That was a crumby thing to say. Do you think I'm just loafing around? I don’t need money.....I’m on a flourly wage. Have you had enough or are you bready for more?

Can't be crashed, because how would the villains get home? Slight problem with villains in the Hive is that there are no guards at the gate like other hazard zones. Thematically, what would explain why villains would be able to pass through into Eden?

"That's a funny joke.....for me to poupon!"

Is that guy on the right from the Legal Eagle YouTube channel?

I think there should be more traffic in Kallisti Wharf what with it having the only accessible gas station in the game.

Someone's going to get toasted over this. I hope this post doesn't get burned. You'd butter not keep it up.

Just a small nitpick, but it's difficult to customize the Prestige Sprints in the costume editor because you have to guess with trial and error, setting the colors and exiting to look at them in action. Would it be difficult to maybe trigger the running animation when one of the Prestige Sprints is selected in the costume editor the way it does when you select Path Aura?

Me too, but mostly the part about that vampire's phone number.

I think reviewing the changes negatively before the changes are off the test server is a bit premature. Sure, you can get a general idea of what's going on, but until everything is done, it's like complaining about how your omelet tastes while it's still in the skillet.

I said the article lost me at the speed thing. No going back for me.
-
To be fair, she could have discussed the changes here with the people here, but instead she rushed to go publish an article somewhere else about her view/opinion and that's kind of small pp behavior, too.

They lost me at "the game revolves around speed." Damage is, and always has been, king.

I believe this suggestion is in the wrong suggestion section. I'm pretty sure Website Suggestions & Feedback is for suggestions about the website, while the Suggestions & Feedback section is for game suggestions. Perhaps one of the moderators could bump this over to the correct section?

Also power effects are a bonus, but they aren't needed and can be mostly minimized by players who choose to as often happens in large league events.

If one is allowed, then two wouldn't really cause any more problem as far as abuse issues. Take someone who can fly rings around another player with the clouds aura tinted black like smoke or someone doing the same with a blazing trail of fire......and what is the difference between either of those situations and someone who can do it with both fire and smoke? And anyone that really made a nuisance of themselves in this way could be reported for harassment if they kept it up when asked to stop.

Rogue and Vigilante Organization Power Pools
TheMoneyMaker replied to Steampunkette's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Patron pools start at a higher level than the powers that be in Praetoria normally allow for, so I don't see including a Praetorian version as necessary. Also, forced costume changes? No. No villain patron pools force any costume changes, unless you consider the addition of the Arachnos weapon a forced change, but even then you have the ability to select the look. -
I agree, set limits on ragdolling, and when the limit is reached the corpse explodes either in a fiery blaze or squishy chunk-filled splatter of gore. If limits include this, I would sign on for sure, otherwise I gotta agree with Snarky

I think having the buffs of multiple powers like force fields, fire shields, ice shields, sonic barriers, kinetic glow, and so on --in addition to one's own auras and effects-- would be considered more disruptive, but that's accepted as part and parcel of the game. Someone seeing you run by with a wake of water and bubbles rising up from the ground wouldn't hardly be as intrusive.

There's no need for another low-level zone. What there is a need for is another high-level zone so that later playing experience would stop being so mind-numbingly the same. If it's not the small Peregrine Island, it's RWZ and mothership raids, Hamidon, or instanced iTrials. I want more city stuff to do, not running to other dimensions or other times.

I could see a case being made for 2 path auras. Several, even. Cloud w/ Lightning + Rainbow = rainbows occasionally follow storms Blazing + Plants = setting fire to plants where ever you step Seismic + Splash = tearing up the ground and bursting water mains Clouds + Frost = Ice on the ground causing a fog Radiant + Streak = sparkely streaks Electric + Rainbow = ragnarok running

Maybe the new faction could use some of the newer elemental themes like storm blast, seismic blast, and pyrotechnic control. Or Frostfire could start looking for others like himself that manifest dual elements. The new group could start off around the mid-level of the classic Outcasts and move up from there. They could heroes but still be treated like villains because the group as a whole is in a state of flux where Frostfire tries to make heroes of them but sometimes their vigilante outlook can go too far.
