Never admit to being a Marketeer in game...
American Decoy replied to The Trouble's topic in The Market
There are days that I go through those 1,000 converters. I am glad that I can help the market economy with my purchases. -
I keep it simple. I do not worry about recycling item for the game. The white items, salvage and recipes, I sell to the vender or delete if time is short. The rest of it I transfer to my crafting toon. If I need common/white and uncommon/yellow salvage for crafting, I buy it from the Action House, usually bid about 500 INF for common and 2000 INF for uncommon to make it worthwhile for someone else to sell it in the AH to me. I don't buy rare/red salvage unless I have a very rare/purple recipe to craft. I then look through the recipes. Very rare and PVP recipes I always craft/convert and sell at action, buying the needed components with slow patient bidding. Rare and uncommon recipes I will craft if I already have the rare salvage on hand, buying the common and uncommon salvage and converters as required to get desired rare enhancements to sell at action. When my character's salvage inventory is full, I sell some uncommon salvage at action for listing of 5 INF, keeping at least five of each for next time. I always make a small profit doing this when it is all averaged out. I also have another set of characters that buy/craft/convert/sell auction house items just to make INF. I average over 200M per day, doing 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night. Junk+Converters=Profit. There are other ways to make even more at the market. So, if it clogs your inventory, sell or delete it. If you need it, buy it with slow patient bidding, or buy something to convert to what you need. I keep very little invention inventory on hand and never junk. Either way, take the path that pleases you without making your "head splodes just thinking about it."

Can you set the storage bins in the base to allow all guests to access the bins? If so, make a "Good Will" base and advertise it with the entry code. That way those that want to dig through your rubbish can do so in the base, while others will not have to trip over it on the street.

At the end of the day, I take my blue jeans off by balancing on one foot, one foot at a time. That's enough balance for me.

event Slot Machine's Random Challenge (2025 Edition)
American Decoy replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
Love the Geochill bio. Don't all random costume have a tail? I mistook the 3 rolls to mean 3 toons. Not the 3 rolls to make to one random toon. LOL. -
Roll a new toon, Binman, load him up and delete him with the rubbish. 😄

Invention salvage is transferable. Anything that you can sell in the market is transferable. If you really want to recycle, toss it in the market. I buy hundreds of cheap items daily from the market to recycle into highly desirable goods at the market.

Roll 1: Mastermind-Ninjas/Kinetics (already have Ninja MM--though Kin would be fun) Roll 2: Peacebringer-TriForm (already have one) Roll 3: Sentinel-Psychic Blast/Radiation Armor (already have Rad Armor Sentinel--might try Psy) You could add (Roll #1c if applicable) PB/WS build: 0 to 25 = TriForm 26 to 50 = Human/Squid 51 to 75 = Human/Lobster 75 to 100 = Human only I will ponder on whether I should make Speed Bosted Ninjas, or a mental Sentinel. -
I am doing a similar thing with a Peace Bringer lore run that has expanded into The Hollows and Kings Row missions. I am also running nearly complete red-side lore missions. I love using a macro to toggle XP on/off. Nod to Gulbasaur's two guides: The Good Missions Guide: A Heroic Levelling Journey through Story Arcs Blueside Guide, and The Mean Missions Guide: A Villainous Levelling Journey through Story Arcs Redside Guide.

Followed closely by April 11th; 125 years this year.

Not just any squids. Epic Squids. Or my favorite working party: And on the road: Damn, I wish I was close to a Naval Base.

"A Longer Road Home by @InzerSBD ID 52234." I was going to ask if AE missions were local to one server, or universal. I hopped on Excelsior and Indomitable. All AE missions I saw were on both servers. So, without even asking I'll answer "universal."

I don't grind for INF. I do like occasionally testing myself in AE or joining a farmer to provide entertainment through chat and faceplants. Sometimes I like to relax, turn off the brain and repeat a few runs in a farm. My favorite non fire farm is "Easy Farming S/L even Squish Toons by @Mass Destruction ID 20474." It is a small outdoor city map with followers of Bobcat to mow down. My all-time favorite is "Noobz Fire Farm by @Jeanny ID 20440." The names of the Noobz we have to fight just crack me up.

Hey JJD, thank you for posting your builds. I don't think I have ever asked you for a specific build, nor have I ever copied one, but you do provide base ideas that I use to start my own builds. Most of my builds are heavily theme oriented.

My Marketeer Toon hates your hording ways. You should sell them to me for cheap and buy them back for expensive. 😉

How many times did you run through the wedding event?
American Decoy replied to Apogee's topic in General Discussion
I am with you on this one. -
Too much cloud cover here.

I'd be playing CoH now, but I am running outside every few minutes to see the lunar eclipse. Or at least try to peer through the clouds around Houston.. Live: Total Lunar Eclipse LIVE | Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles 🌕

Welcome Home to CoH, Snarky! I don't remember you on live, but welcome back.

Sorry to anyone that already posted this item. To the OP, the most important thing to do/use/bring/have in CoH is making friends. -
Smoked coffee is not my taste. Tried it once. The "green" coffee beans are roasted in a pan over the open flames. I have to do it outside due to the high volume of expelled bean skins--chaff-- and smoke. I put two cups of beans into the pan over the hot fire and continually stir it until it is roasted to my preference. Don't let it burn. It takes about 30 minutes to get dark roast. There are many videos online about roasting coffee at home. Then I cool and separate the beans form the chaff by dumping them back and forth, pan to stainless steel colander. A good breezy day helps. Two cups of unroasted beans will last about one month. I drink 1/2-a-pot per day. About 3 years ago I found that I can get excellent beans by the pound for the same price as roasted coffee by the ounce. I get the beans from Primos Coffee Co. – Raw Unroasted Coffee Beans. For the past year, I have been flavoring the roasted beans with a shot or two of Balcones Rumble Whisky while they are cooling. Wait a day or two for the alcohol to evaporate, then grind and brew. Balcones has stopped making Rumble. I have two bottles. 😞
