@Jimmy out of curiosity, do you think this update will be live before Spring Fling?
-
Yay @EmmySky!

That is a great look! Good luck at the contest! The SF went very well! We ended up with two folks pulled from the LFG chat to fill in the spots. It was quite successful and I don't think anyone perished. All the VEAT team buffs were amazing!

Something like that was part of the Corsair backpack. Try backpack options. -

Fantastic! My dude Pain Vendor is getting a kitten! When can we see asymmetric faces? Page 2? -

I don't see any Regen nerfs, @Jimmy. Will that be for Page 2? -
My 50s are in semi-retirement. The end-game incarnate stuff is neat, but does not interest me as much as the mid-game. One or more of my 50s, of which I have 10, don't even have their incarnate slots fully opened. However, I will at least get the Alpha opened up and slotted with a +1 level shifter. I don't go for all the IO sets. For the most part, vanilla IOs are fine for me. However, I will regularly slot some of the one-offs. In particular, I like the knockback resistance ones, the +defense ones from the resistance sets, and the +resistance ones from the defense sets. I like Performance Shifter and Numina's. I like the +7.5% HP one. I like the ones that give me little HP boosts. I only have one character, Red Armor, whose build I completely planned out from creation. He is one of (I think) three characters I have fully IO-setted. I think I spent about 600m infamy on that. I love red side content and zones. I especially enjoy the level 20-30 content in Sharkhead. Blue side is confusing to me. Multiple contacts have the same story arcs due to characters coming from different origins. There are too many zones; some zones are almost completely neglected, like Baumton. However, I do like the level 20-30 content blueside. Striga rules, Croatoa drools! PvP? No thank you. The best PvP I've ever played was in Dark Age of Camelot. It was a lot different there the way it was set up, and it was a lot of fun. Some good PvP memories there. My dude Character Assassin is my badger. But at ~1100 badges, I got tired of it. I get disheartened at the sorts of badges he has left to get. All the Ourobororororo badges. PvP badges. Badges for healing. How's a stalker supposed to heal that much?! What's the best archetype/power sets for efficient badging? Red Armor did every regular contact, story arc, and mission while leveling up red side. I often had to do these at -1 level to slow down the XP or even turn XP off completely sometimes. He only had to do one or two arcs through Ouroboromonroe. I voted. I log on all my characters every three days and drop a mission. (I have 75 characters over three accounts. No more than 27 per account because that's how many I can fit on one page of the spreadsheets I keep to track a lot of minutia.) This way, even if I don't actually play them often, they still make progress in whatever it is they're up to. Newer toons do this every four days so they can also move to a new day job location. The theme team on Indomitable is one of the most fun things I do in game, and look forward to it every Saturday. Thank you for joining it, Emmy. My characters are the best characters with the best costumes on any server. If someone else wins a costume contest, they are simply wrong.

The retro jacket has a similar look, but not exact.

(Bringing this forward in time, since it was buried way back on page 8.) I hope everyone had fun last week despite the rough patch (and debt badges) at the end there. The Sky Raiders thought they'd take us out, but we persevered and kicked their behinds into their behinds! October 24th: Operatives Report! All VEATs Operative Renault SF. Sharkhead. Level 25+ The roster so far... @TraumaTrain- Devil's Workshop, crab spider @socom242- Kampfbereit, bane spider @EmmySky- GoldenSky, widow @TrixieKixx- Evil Godess, night widow @Midnyte- Midnyte Widow, night widow @Jaxman100- @VerseGuy- We have one spot open. @FrauleinMental? @Bananiac? @TygerDarkstorm I'm sorry you won't be able to make it for this one! We'll miss you. But family time is also super important! Have fun and be safe.

Trick or Treating looks silly in the day time
TraumaTrain replied to ZacKing's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I like the way it was on live. A two week event with the eternal darkness. Last year's event ran for what felt like ever. Combined with the eternal darkness, it was too much. This year it doesn't feel as long because of the eternal darkness only being part-time. But a whole month for a one day holiday? On live, it was a real treat. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. Two weeks, for me, feels just about perfect. (With the eternal night for the whole two weeks.) Thank you for reading my opinion. -

Make sure you all have your bird puns ready. You don't want to have to wing it.

Theme teams are loads of fun! -
That's good too. I was thinking more along the lines of Frank Sinatra's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."

How about a giant, robot Johnny Sonata on a rampage! It was made for a parade that never saw fruition. The Freakshow found it in a warehouse and have activated it. Through the eye holes, you can see a couple Freakshow tanks in its head operating it. Dozens of Freaks fly around it in a swarm. It has huge, swingin' attacks with its arms and loud sonic attacks through speakers placed around its torso. Sort of like the Arachnos flyer in Grandville, you have to fight through waves of Freaks to fight the robot. And sort of like Lusca, you have to target parts of it before you can destroy its head/cockpit. (But not as extensively as the flyer or Lusca.) The badge: I Left My Heart in St. Martial

@EmmySky, your avatar kills me

23 is great! Fine as is. Maybe you will want that level 24, 26, 28, or 30 power. Or some extra enhancement slots. But, not super necessary. In Silver Mangos, we will fight some Tsoo, some Freaks, and lots of Sky Raiders. The AV is Colonel Duray. Flying is super useful in the final mission as it takes place on the Sky Raider platform base. I just got my character, Hooded Crow, up to 30 last night. I'm thrilled with that.

I'd like to a big Freakshow thing made up of a bunch of Freakshow tank bosses joined together like Voltron. A Super Duper Tank!

Speaking of names... Here are a few I'd like to give back to the community. These were character ideas that never came to fruition or characters I am no longer playing. Maybe someone will use them! Touche' Mr. Scissors Clovis Big Coal New Soviet Man Grognard Doktor Zapps Burrito Smuggler Aggro Cap Idle Hands Mr. Mirror Mirror Man Column Breaker Law and Order Goon Squad Statesman's Pal Pin-Up Ides of March Ad Nauseum One of the above names was not in my list, but is available. A No-Prize to anyone who can guess which one.

Don't forget to save the real names! With Midnyte and VerseGuy, the count for Apex/Tin Mage is at 8. Rock on!

Yay gratz on 50!
