  1. Enjoy your vacation! I hope you have something wonderful planned.
  2. I've done a completionist run of red side a few times. I'm in the middle of one now actually with a new brute I created about a week and a half ago named Cookbook. (Fire Melee/Bio-Armor. Absolutely devastating, especially when Fury is built up.) So I have it fairly well planned out how we'll proceed along. I will post a roadmap for us so everyone can see how we'll progress. Again, totally not mandatory to get all the contacts and pause XP like I'll be doing, but it'll be super cool if you want to. If someone has to miss a week, you'll know what to do to keep up.
  3. Thanks, Ban! It was a lot of fun. We'll be in Mercy for some time yet. There are several contacts there, and we'll come back to it between level 15-20. This Sunday we'll jam through Doctor Creed and Mongoose. They were introduced to us by Matthew Burke and Kalinda respectively. Those four represent the original contacts from back in the day before they changed how Mercy worked. We'll also probably have time to get through Operative Kuzmin and maybe even Firewire too. (I always choose Firewire over the other option.) After that, we have Lt. Harris and then Dr. Graves will take us into Port Oakes. There are a lot of early game contacts in Mercy.
  4. @TrixieKixx I will bring Devil's Workshop to the Morty McKal theme. He's a crabby soldier.
  5. It wasn't a scrapper question though. It was a "how does this stealth power stack with that stealth power" question.
  6. I interpreted the all Dominators and Controllers portion of the theme as Tanker. 😞
  7. Thanks! Which one is better to take? Infiltration is expensive to run but has some interesting slotting capabilities.
  8. Rolling a new Street Justice/Ninjutsu Scrapper. How does Shinobi-Iri (Ninjutsu) and Infiltration (Concealment pool) stack? I know there were some changes made with stealth and built-in movement.
  9. Let's start something new. Terror Volta is getting a bit long in tooth and wants to go into semi-retirement. So he is entrusting Something Wicked Sunday with a new guy. I'm rolling up a new dude named Souvenir. He'll be either a scrapper, or a brute, or maybe a sentinel. And he's going to begin SWS tomorrow, 5/22/22, breaking out of the Zig. Souvenir will be level 1, but no one else needs be if you don't want to. As usual, you can be any level and Villain, Rogue, or Vigilante alignment to join the team. Souvenir is going to go through all of the content red side, one SWS at a time. He will often need to pause his XP earnings to hit all of the contacts, but he's okay with that. If you want to start from scratch and do a completionist run of red side, join me in the Zig. If you just want to enjoy the villainous content, join me in Mercy once I spring myself from prison. Noon EST as usual. Indomitable server as usual.
  10. I like the Sky Raiders for their lore and variety of mobs. I dislike the spectrals of the Circle of Thorns because of their -accuracy/-to hit.
  11. @TrixieKixx Good news! If there is still room on the Hippie Hess, I am able to join in. Everyone's hippie costumes have made me jealous so I moved around my commitment! I will bring Is That Freedom Rock, Ice Armor/Battle Guitar Ax Tanker. (pic to follow)
  12. Oh gosh. I can't even remember all the clowns I made for that AE farm. But, some of the names were Clovis, LoLs the Clown, Punchy the Clown. They were all EBs. Clovis was the most dangerous because he was a stalker. He'd have Hide on and you wouldn't know he was part of the mob until you were fully engaged. That was a fun farm. Too bad I don't have those original files anymore.
  13. Similar to, but not quite exactly as a previous answer... If I'm buying them, I'll buy flour tortillas. If I'm making them, I'll buy flour tortillas.
  14. Sounds like a good plan. Meet up in Cap if you would like to participate.
  15. I don't have a plan for tomorrow, 5/15. So, no idea. Any suggestions?
  16. Can Zone is the name of my next toon. Thanks!
  17. The most important aspect of theme team has been to have fun. We are casual - we're never about speed records or "Masters of...," or anything like that. The theme is important as well because it gives us creative goals, especially when it involves a costume theme. I'm not sure the various trials are the best fit for us. Some are done too quickly like the respecs or Transcendence, and others are very difficult like Abandoned Sewers or Eden. My preference would be to stick with Task and Strike Forces. Most of those can be completed by two or three players, and sometimes we're light on that. Indomitable is an issue. No matter the root causes, the population here is faltering. Sometimes we get lucky and we pick up one or two folks who want to join, but I think others are daunted by needing to fit our theme of the day. I feel when we have a costume theme, it's okay to not enforce it for pick-up-players. We can take our pics for us in theme and then advertise for others to join and they're fine. Archetype or power themes can still be enforced though. Those are my thoughts. 🙂
  18. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to miss the next couple Saturdays, I think. Other plans and stuff.
  19. Welcome back! Have a fishy stick.
  20. In the bottom right pic, my face is all blurry like in The Ring. I have seven days to live before the wet, creepy chick crawls out of my TV at me! We'll, it was nice knowing you all!
