  1. Looks like I can run Disintegrate, Lancer Shot, Charged Shot, repeat without much effort. Unsure if throwing in Overcharge when it's up will improve overall DPS. I would just go test this on beta but I needed another sentinel anyway.
  2. Point of order: When has this ever stopped us before?
  3. @Sir MyshkinThat gif is making me giggle maniacally.
  4. This. Not a one of us could pull this off with all incarnates unslotted. Why, yes, that IS a challenge.
  5. Sometimes it needs to be said. Damn the consequences.
  6. SR/Claws for overall utility. But my bias was set a looooong time ago.
  7. Had to go through 10 or so pages to find a beam/bio thread and I'm very confused by that. Mine just hit 34 with a badly slapped together build using junk I had in the base and I'm already cruising at +4/x5. Am I wrong in thinking beam is to blast sets as titan is to melee sets?
  8. Yall make me so glad I only played on Pinnacle. Yea, we had a few bad seeds but overall we were all just too damn drunk to give a shit. Edit: Hmmm, I'm still pretty too damn drunk. The more things change....
  9. It was an improved (sort of) normal build. Really just swapped out +Acc for +Nrg/Neg damres. But thanks.
  10. Re: The beam/bio sent... lvl 33, slotted up with garbage I had in my base, started at +2/x2, 2nd mish was +3/x2, then +4/x2 (this is when I started using insps) and about to bump to +4/x3. As I said in channel, it appears that beam is to blast as titan is to melee. On the plus side, having a LOT more fun than I did with my beam/storm cor attempt.
  11. General is removed completely. LFG and Help are on their own tab that I'll occasionally look at if I feel like pugging. I pretty much only read the Pinnacle badges channel and my parent SG's channel. I have yet to have toxic behavior directed at me in game. Here on the forums? Once or twice but overall? I hang out on the forums because the vast majority of those I converse with are anything but toxic. Which... of course, may mean that I'm the toxic one.
  12. And the really funny part? He's weak compared to many of the other freaks in this thread.
  13. As with all the changes over time, those of us that dig doing so will be back on the pylons, testing, tweaking, rolling with whatever comes down the pipe. I wish I could remember what the time was for my very first solo pylon kill.
  14. Oh, I bet you've got a pretty good idea.
  15. Not sure I grok the difference but regardless I've got a new beam/bio sent I'm going to set my sights on for the next round of ludicrous behavior.
  16. Didn't some emp/beam defender pull it off? At this point, I'm half-ass expecting some mastermind to do it now.
  17. I am impressed and proven very wrong. Well done.
  18. I'm goin with Heisenberg. They play it until they learn it sucks.
  19. But is it? Really? "I only feel useful in the early game." Is that really cool? I don't see it that way.
  20. May want to ponder that more. How are SO builds under ED going to perform even with the existing incarnate abilities? No more softcapped defense for most combos. No more shoring up resistance. No more permahasten. It would be a VERY different game.
  21. You don't know what kind of lover he might be. oh wait... ew.
  22. Yea, been lookin at that. Went Kat/Inv for the same reason.
  23. Also, damnit. I have a new claws/wp scrapper. Belinda Blender. Street hunted in Atlas to lvl 6 and now I'm in the Hollows runnin Wilcott's missions.
  24. I didn't talk about secondaries. Less clicks means more clawing. Willpower will probably win on that statement. Don't think any other secondary is nearly as fire and forget. SR comes close, but I leave hasten on auto and click Practiced Brawler when hasten recycles but Quickness also means a tighter claws attack chain. NrgAura, I don't know. Kinda clicky, but I've seen quite a few folks talking about how pretty it is. I'd throw Ninjitsu into the same bucket. Shield would be nice but we aren't allowed to do that. My farmer is a Claws/FA brute. One of these days I may get around to cranking dual-builds on my FA/Claws tank for both normal and farming gameplay. I would assume Elec Armor and Rad Armor would be similar to Fire. Regen is crap. Stone... nope, no claws on stone. Can't be done. Then again, stone armor's also crap, so who cares? 🙂 Ice? See regen and stone.
  25. That's a good description. I love claws. I've tried savage a few times but it doesn't click with me. Claws has a purity to it that I've only seen matched with fire blast. Swipe: Early game, this is amazing to fill in the blanks wherever they appear in your attack chain. End game respec, take it, remove it from your tray, never bother slotting it. (Unless you're a scrapper, when you can single slot the passive +crit chance AT IO) Strike: Slightly better DPA than swipe, but it's the gut-punch animation from the fighting pool boxing. Early game, you could take it but you don't need to. Slash: Your first must have attack. Beautiful, fierce double cut that lets you slot a Achilles' Heel Chance for -DamRes. Spin: The reason I'll never play claws on a stalker. No spin? You ain't playin claws. Spin is to claws what Foot Stomp is to super strength. Followup: This is your build up. It needs to be in constant rotation. With enough recharge, you can run Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat which triple stacks the FU buff on Focus. Focus: Oh, focus. Unskippable power #3 in the set. Ranged, fast, glorious. Eviscerate: Here's an odd one. For me it's a horrible power simply due to its animation. Some folks like it. I think they're all quite mad. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Nice little cone, but unnecessary when you can run Followup, Focus, Spin, Shockwave, repeat as your aoe chain. On scrappers, it has a higher chance to crit than the other attacks and with their AT IO procs also buffing crit chance, and argument can (and probably should) be made to use it in a single target attack chain. But for brutes and tanks? Nah, I skip it. Shockwave: Huge cone, does knockback if you like it, throw a KB->KD proc in there if you don't. I do so that I don't knock everyone out of my spin radius. Followup needs 313% total recharge in it for the FU, Focus, Slash, repeat attack chain. I have yet to actually manage that but I'm close enough that I still get the triple stack of buff on Focus. If you can get to permahasten, you'll be close enough. I've also silenced the Not Ready sound so that problem is dealt with. Scrapper attack chains I use: ST - Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat AoE - Followup, Spin, Shockwave, repeat Brute/Tank attack chains I use: ST - Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat AoE - Followup, Focus, Spin, Shockwave, repeat (Brute/Tank base recharge for spin and sw are higher so that their base damage is higher, thus the need for more time)
