Reward cooldowns are in every MMO, and I can think of a few that have a simple way of referencing it in game so that players can plan accordingly without having to remember mentalally or write it down. I like to alt swap, and it can get confusing. I have heard that CoX's code makes it something that would take some work, as (to me) it seems to only check once the TF completes and rewards are available. If there was a new tab in 'personal info' that at least listed which objectives a character had completed recently (would prefer a timer, but I will take whatever works in game) I know this may be somthing that might be difficult to Implement, but I have not seen it mentioned and it would be nice to see how others feel about it
  2. This is already in the game. Right click the icons, click Stacking..., and set to numeric. BOOM
  3. Its only hard to solo early on when you are super squish with no powerful moves. Later when you get more debuffs and can extend the fights longer it has time to be better
  4. Pretty sure Sonic blast is sliglty lower than other sets to make up for constantly reducing resist, otherwise it would be OP.
  5. This seems like a good idea to me, especially since i primarily only use frostwork: A: on tanks managing big waves, or B: the squishie that keeps pulling agro and getting low. That is one thing about cold dom tho, after ice shields I turn my focus and end on debuffing. Would take some getting used to but is overall more practical.
  6. Man, imagine how hard this guy would cry if he ran a build with a Toggle:Pbaoe dmg Seriously. You need to stop blaming the game and either look for more specific help in the brute section, or play a different class like blaster that doesnt usually have toggles
  7. SR only has 3 toggles, And a click mez res, not bad on end EM has a lot of AoE, which ALWAYS costs more endurance. If you had a secondary with an end drain/recov boost, you would probably be fine, but until you slot really well, prepare to spam taunt. Also, rechage reduction nets increased end consumption, if you are actively using the powers more
  8. Have you actually looked at how much manuevers is buffing your defense compared to your other toggles? I guarantee its eating up way more end per def point. (Combat jumping would be way more effective. Your statement about DPS, Support, etc not having end problems... is flat out incorrect. Maybe your teammates are just using their end more effectively/conservatively. If you are teaming, focus on aggro contol only if you are still running low, let the damage clean up
  9. Tbh, i dont think kin really needs to be primary to shine, you may heal and sb slightly better, but FS will still get you to dmg cap. The higher dmg multiplier and scourge really sound like a better setup overall
  10. With support sets as a secondary they're 75% as a affective as Defenders, attack sets will be stronger, the other difference would be the passive which would give the Defenders endurance reduction or corruptors bonus damage.
  11. A small text box on the server status page stating down for maintenance would be nifty. Thanks for the responses, and all the effort and time!
  12. JSYK, the new homecoming.exe was flagged by my AV (AVG) as suspicious, but already passed inspection (in case others post of app closure issues)

  14. Thermal is a set tuned more toward buffing and off healing, where rad is a debuffing, with minor heal/buff. Thermal may help keep your allies alive longer, but it wont provide much in actually taking down AVs etc.
  15. Ive heard of someone ending someones farm mish out of spite, or bellyaching about global chats, but I have mostly met helpful/nice/neutral players. The trolls, they run about causing trouble. They hide under overpasses, and in caves until they see their opportunity. The trolls feed on attention and anger, do not feed the trolls. Let them get tired and go back to their superadine addictions.
  16. To me, snowstorm feels like such a niche power, that I dont even bother. Admittedly, it was before anchor changes, but a toggle that adds a little slow feels like a waste to me (stun knocks the occasional flier out of the air), when sleet, benumb, and heat loss do the same job.
  17. KD is the same as KB but with a tiny mag (around 1) which the KB to KD io sets, so it is probably overriding the KB enhancements (which raise mag, not chance to proc or anything)
  18. The idea behind the cold/sonic is to debuff your enemies into the dirt. Your buffing abilities (shields, leadership, heat loss) will come in handy, but are more secondhand IMO. I take every sonic attack that reduces resist, only skipped infrigidate and snowstorm in cold. Took speed (hasten, ss, burnout) jump (CJ, SJ) leadership (maneuvers, tactics) ghost widow (shield, soul drain, summon fortunata) Incarnate: A: agility, J: pyronics I: degenerative, L: nemesis, D: clairion, H: support I feel like this build is tuned enough to be optimal for teaming, while still having solo capability (pets and soul drain) First goal is to get global rech up to: A: sleet up perma, B: perma hasten (currently 62.25% myself) Ive had some scraps/blasters hit AVs in the thousands when their resist is in the negatives.
  19. I have also experienced this and will say that it almost caused our TF to fail. We eventually were able to slowly pull 1 boss at a time until they were managable I second the notion, and hope MM will try for the villainside version of the accolade in the meantime
  20. On my BS/Fire, I find ducking behind corners/boxes makes burn as is super useful. The enemies will stand in it until they get lower on hp. Scaring off a few stragglers can help give me a window to recover, and behind a box they have to run back to melee range, regrouping themselves. (37 mostly solo +0 5 team size) Other's suggestions about epics are good, and teaming let the troller cc them first
  21. I'm not very fond of most of those builds posted, cold Sonic is my main and I've been meaning to put together a build but in still working on it and game as well
  22. This Lore... it feels like it actually took place in game engine, the writing style, makes you feel like your playing it. Not like other lore, that feels more like history texts
  23. IIRC, the attempts at pvp balancing seemed to just make things worse for pve. (I remember SR stalkers crying that focused accuracy made their defense useless, when stalkers [to me] always seemed to have the unfair advantage) If they couldve just tweaked powers PVP affects only that wouldve been nice, but it was also a much earlier time in MMO history
  24. Firstly, you guys are doing a fantastic job, way better than i realistically expected. The turnaround from feedback to in game tweeks almost feels surreal (compared to the corporate model) and the level of player accommodation is great. I like the idea of 'chose your xp rate', I just feel like the hour (up to 8) might not be the smoothest approach. Any way to just have it as a toggle like mission difficulty or the inspiration drops you can activate in P2W?
  25. Scattered all over paragon are statues of heroes, it makes me jealous. I always thought it would be cool if you could create custom statues of yourself for your base (picking an emote or pose, and snapping your current costume onto it) They dont have to be massive, scaled to fit inside
