  1. I liked it better than you, but as mentioned earlier in this thread...not even multiple comics. It was like 10 pages in one comic.
  2. I thought so. Not to mention, his Lex straight up murders one guy. And the way they do what is basically him versus superman in a fight was great.
  3. Enjoyed it. I still wouldn't call Shalla-Bal accurate, was hoping we'd see her leaving a non Silver Surfer Norrin and it didn't happen. 😛 Also don't need to know anything about anything to see the movie, so for those who whine about wanting self contained marvel movies, this does that.
  4. I'm seeing this tonight, but people really gotta stop the "It's comic book accurate" with that, they really can't say anything isn't comic book accurate, because what if/else world/alternate reality characters exist. She wasn't Silver Surfer for more than like 10 pages of a comic. That's not what people generally call comic accurate. You may as well say "Well, the artists don't always make Wolverine look short, so Hugh being tall is comic accurate" 😛
  5. Loving Psionic Armor myself. Vet level 99 and 1296 badges so far. So, yes, have to say, I like it enough to have rerolled my main into it. And it's versatile enough to really go for a lot of concepts besides Psychic powers. Regen just got buffed and so did Dark Armor. As a Scrapper you really can't go wrong with most armor sets. As for Primary, Staff just got buffed to help it's ST DPS, but I do believe it's still lacking for some people, but it'll still get the job done and be able to solo AVs. That said, most would still agree Staff is best on Stalkers. Pick for concept on Primary just as one would on Secondary and the only thing that may really go wrong with for you is "Do I want all these powers now?! But I want some more pool powers! Aaaaaahhhhh!"
  6. Well, still won't be bothered by it, and like I've said, I thought it was weird he had all those videos of him and the Kents and the broken message from his parents is what soothed him.
  7. I can understand that. It's why I don't care for the new Marvel Multiverse Roll Playing Game System. There is no character progression in it really.
  8. Oh, for sure. It's just, not the direction I would've gone, but I'll take it as a whole different universe and such.
  9. Because of the game rules or the setting? Because I love the Rifts setting.
  10. Exactly! I'm going to watch it, but he's got 16 years on Sonya Blade's actress, and just that he's 53. Maybe if he was playing a later in time Johnny Cage, after a few MKs. I am going to guess we're going to get less Cole Young, which is good, because I did not like his character.
  11. I'd say it's the same thing as any other adaption. People want to see their known property adapted. I can see people going "I want to see a live action version of the CHARACTER I know and not some other version" quite easily. I'm going to see the movie and see how it plays out, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have, for example, loved to have seen JLU version, if that was all I've seen of her and enjoyed.
  12. I think the issue is, more people have likely seen and enjoyed the JLU Supergirl over anyone who's seen read the award winning comic. New Earth Supergirl was the one I read. After they ended that one, I haven't gotten back into Supergirl. Though to also be fair, it's been long enough I don't recall it the best either other than remembering some good art.
  13. It's one of the best damage sets. Start using Empower, until you can use Blinding Feint > Attack Vitals Combo > Repeat, after that, you use a non combo set of attacks (need sets and Epic Pool attack) which relies on Blinding Feint > Alabating Strike > Sweeping Strike > Alabating Strike > Epic or BF > AS > SS > Epic or Nimble Strike (if Epic isn't recharged). You'll also generally be using Procs too.
  14. No one learns anything. This isn't the first time it's happened. People will consider them exceptions and just keep saying what they're saying. Especially the grifters.
  15. It seems in that era, Pa Kent gave him the name Superman, if what I'm reading about them dying. But it does just go to show, the comics have changed things up with every reboot.
  16. What was said in the film was by Mr Terrific going, "People already authenticated it" which, I didn't think was saying much, since Lex got it from a garbled file and I feel it can easily be said he was able to figure out the language and edit it to be saying something other than what was originally said. That said, the change gave us a better "Superman loves seeing pictures of his parents" He was raised by the Kents, yet it's parents he never knew he felt more soothing?
  17. From my understanding, it was the 1978 Superman that killed off Jonathan Kent first, not the comics. That was change for change. Now, I wonder if people cared about that death like they do about the harem. That said, I still think in the next movie, it'll be shown Lex was able to edit the video to make it seem authentic.
  18. Isn't all changes simply change for change? That's what all the Elseworld titles are and movies are nothing more than Elseworlds.
  19. I think I like the idea that they wanted it to be about how Superman chooses to be the hero. It's not in the DNA. And it very much may be that Lex didn't alter it, but wouldn't he say that even if he did?
  20. I have to say, when it comes to what they did with Jor El, it's been done before. And it's really not a big deal. Especially since a lot of those who complain about it, will tell me "Oh, race/gender swapping is okay" This isn't to say you say that, but if people can get behind those ideas, there's no reason to not get behind this change. HOWEVER...my thought on it is it's Lex messing with the recording. It's not something that had to be figured out this movie. Can easily be found Lex was able to masterly do the video to play out the way he wanted. It's not like he isn't a genius.
  21. Now it just needs to make (what looks to be at this time) 350 million more, so it's not a flop. 🙂
  22. I wouldn't say her comic was popular, so they probably need to stray from the mark. I think that could be a part of the reason people thought Tony's daughter should've become Iron Heart.
  23. Saw it on Thursday and yup, going to see it again. Fun movie. Want a sequel.
