  1. But it's always been that and as you said, they get it early, they're likely using it early and how many of them are going "Oooooh noooo! I shouldn't have used Rage?" So, all those people used it before their builds were made solid did just fine, they'll do just fine again. It's 10 seconds after 2 minutes of up time.
  2. So, they'll be as tough as a Scrapper for 10 seconds, while having more health and regen/heals to back them up?
  3. Don't they get hit more and also hit for more?
  4. They're old stats. I can say on my Super Strength, I just never cared for Hurl being a lackluster ST DPS attack. I want to hurl that chunk of concrete often! Rage Crash is just living with the set, no different than any other set for me (for me the meh set, but awesome concept, is TW). However, since the new power is likely to allow porting of SS to Scrappers, that's where I will want to play it, as I wanted a Scrapper with SS animations! I know I can concept any attack set into super strength, but I want that hand clap and such 🙂
  5. I think the new Super Strength mechanic on Beta is exactly for porting Super Strength over to Scrappers.
  6. Well let's go back to March 2020 ( Shields (Defense based set)/Super Strength number 11 on popularity, Ice Armor/SS at 83 and with Super Reflexes/SS at number 92 for Tankers. Shield at 17, Energy Aura at 57, SR at 86 and Ice Armor at 173 And that was in 2020. More have been made since.
  7. They're saying they'll be seeing a James Gunn movie, when it's a different director, so it's going to be different.
  8. Yet people are acting like he is the director.
  9. James Gunn isn't the director of this movie.
  10. Well, I know I've seen SR/SS Tankers/Brutes. *shrug* As also said, at least for Tankers, the -Resist isn't that big of an issue, and it's a 10 second hit.
  11. You get the option to keep Rage. So, if you think UM is a nerf, don't use UM. As for the new -Res/-Def split to the crash, doesn't seem that bad to me. At least for Tankers. Brutes maybe feel a little bit more of a hit, but they're also getting a little buff to their starting stats if I'm not mistaken, in terms of a little more Resists/Defense. Also, wouldn't this change be a buff to all those defense based Super Strength users?
  12. If there's one thing CoH Players (and MMO players in general) hate more than anything, is change 😛
  13. You can cap S/L without Tough. My Electric Armor is somewhere between 95 and 100% S/L Resist (and that's just one level of the +Resist Proc in the ATO) without Tough, so if being hit to 75% (or higher) is an issue, I could put Tough in if it bothered me. However, I was just thinking, for Tankers, that -Resist may not hit as hard since over capping is a thing.
  14. That makes the change not seem that bad, at least for Tankers. Thinking of my Electric Armor Tanker, I believe for a lot of the resists, I'd still be above Scrapper caps. And the crash got better for those SR/SS Tankers out there.
  15. This is good info
  16. Oh. Efficient being the more speedy and maybe give it a bit more -recharge/slow resist could be it.
  17. It would give one more incentive to switch between the forms, at least maybe going back and forth between Defense and Offense. I can't say what I'd do for Efficient.
  18. Evolving Armor. I don't mind the -Resist being moved to Offense Adaption. However, could one add in some good DDR when in Defense Adaption?
  19. Gunn is not the director of this one. I'm just curious what people expect the the comic book space to look like. Like Star Trek?
  20. Perhaps, when it's procs in AOEs to clear faster, in powers that were meant to be defensive but with a bit of bonus offense, versus proccing out ST attacks is, at least imo, a little less to worry about. Why? Because proccing out the single target attacks is nice and makes for some nice ST DPS, I'd wager it's not as popular as some might think. It takes a lot of recharge to make effective use of those type of slotted attacks and someone with a seamless but not fully procced ST chain maybe the same or better than the ones who have all those procs but are waiting on attacks to recharge? *shrugs* As for adaptive recharge, I wouldn't use it on dedicated AOE attacks, but when used on those defense/utility powers with a bit of offense, not so bad when it does suck to go "I'd like to use it, but it's one target and the recharge is forever"
  21. I'm curious, as someone who didn't hate them, why the roll back?
  22. I believe he's been trained for awhile now. It's just not something that's really important to his character. Like his super strength. He's strong enough now (at least on some stories) to carry a semi and run with it, but it's not his thing. He's intellect, webbing and punches, not really displaying the strength so much. May not have the super clap, but he's got the muscle now.
  23. Agreed. Not only do I worry Netflix will make Arrowverse. They won't last long enough or will take forever to continue.
  24. Is Unleashed Might a way to port SS to Scrappers?
  25. Other than the Stacks not lasting long enough, feels good. 🙂
