  1. I believe only one attack has -Resist Damage, the rest are -Resist Debuff.
  2. I figure it's not likely to get any real changes that effect the numbers. They already said they're not changing the mechanics of the set. I just heard the set was bad damage so I was testing it out. Didn't think I was really spamming the thread tho. 😛

  6. That's one thing that got me. The upgraded tech. Am I the only one who can just assume that Kirk's ship likely would've been updated a bit more than the 60's version and just accept that? Modern tech has improved, so I just accept that, hey, Kirk era likely looks better now. That said, I agree with SNW when they meet the Lower Decks Boimler and Mariner when it comes to the communication devices. I like the flip 🙂

  9. I was looking at it's power description, what if it just need a good chunk of damage to Minions and Underlings only, on application. So, like the damage it does now, but Minions and Underlings take a big chunk of damage on application. May make it of more use to use on those minions/underlings

I was getting around 1:30-1:33 (edit: did 10 runs writing them down and average time was 1:28) average time on a Sonic/SR/Mu Scrapper, using the same methods Ston used, with the best time being 1:24. Still don't think anyone really builds that way, but this was just me testing ST DPS because that seems to be a lot of what people seem to base "is it good" I will say, in my game play testing, I felt using Attune for anything but hard targets to be meh and clunky with it's cast time.
  11. No idea. I figured the toggle checked every 10 seconds like all other toggles, but figured that it being a single target toggle, it might proc better. However, I only started testing it that way after someone suggested it to me, as I was discussing my testing of the sets ST DPS. I kept hearing the set is bad. It's ST DPS isn't the best, but I was thinking they likely weren't really testing to see what it can do. I thought the regular play was fine in my play through. I feel the set should be closer to the top in terms of ST DPS because of Attune tho. The power has a long cast and didn't seem worth casting every group, especially at the lighter levels some people would play.
  12. Oh, for sure the end part of the movie did not land. It was the speech imo. It just didn't work. New Spock's "KAAAAAAHN" didn't feel as good as Will Shatner's "KHAAAAAN" either. What may have been better for the end is have Kirk mention the Kobyashi Maru since they had it in the first film and it was an issue between them "So what did you think of my answer to the Kobyashi Maru this time?" in a good Kirk tone. Then have New Spock yell Kahn until he got it sounding right 😛 Also, do a better fight scene. That's supposed to be a super soldier and I just don't imagine Spock being the big hand to hand fighter Kahn should be. 😛
  13. The toggle's mechanic is not to use it every enemy. I wouldn't use it on low rank enemies, it's animation is long. This is a hard target power. Place it on a boss and if it's a boss you can crush quickly, then it's not worth the time to use Attune.
  14. I've been testing the ST potential of the set and 3 Damage Procs 2 ACC/DMG HOs and 1 DMG/END D-Sync was giving better numbers than 5 piece Purple set (no damage proc) and 1 ToD damage proc.
  15. I plan to do more runs with the set later, maybe get a better sense of the average on some of the combos. I know one of the attempts yielded around something like a 1:40 or 1:45 average, but it was having big differences, that it had to be a difference in the procs. Also, I'm not using a proc heavy snipe (which I believe Ston did) on some of them, as the snipe needed some recharge to pull off the chain, even with Hasten and Ageless going. In the feedback thread, I did say I felt that the attacks that did 10% more damage to attuned targets (I couldn't really place it on ST and SE) should do 15-20% instead, but part of that was me feeling Sonic Clap should do better in your ST chain than Cross Punch.

Last testing for today (sleep for work and all) for Sonic/SR/Mu (switched from Psi) Earsplitter > Zapp > Sandman's Whisper > Strident Echo > Cross Punch > Repeat (Casting Attune first of course) That seemed to get the more consistent numbers. Looking like a 1:30 - 1:33 average w/ my best time being 1:24 Earsplitter has the CS Proc - Purple Hold Damage Proc - 2 Damage Proc - 2 +3 HOs SW/SE have 4 damage procs and 2 +3 HOs (One of SW's damage procs is the Melee Purple Damage Proc) Zapp is slotted 5 Piece Apoc (no ACC/RCH) all +5's and a Damage Proc (Decimation may get better high, but it didn't for me on 3 goes but I'm guessing if all procs went well, it'd get the best time) This is putting the set in the 11-14 out 22 sets range so far. Also using Musculature Radial - Degen Core - Assault Core - Ageless Core all t4...as pre Ston's testing on his minmax charts. Perhaps others can do better 🙂
  17. For ST, yes Attune is worth it. Now, whether you think it's worth using on every boss you see and not just hard targets, that'll be up to you. Just starting testing Attune with 3 Damage Procs and 2 ACC/DMG HOs and 1 DMG/END D-Sync...seems to up the damage. Testing with SR because I'm trying to see where it goes without damage auras or other sources of additional damage from a secondary.

Been testing Sonic Melee/SR/Psi on Beta Averaging 1:45 with ES>SE>Snipe>SW>CP (but there's big swings in how the time is) Averaging 1:40 with SW>ES>Snipe>SW>ST>CP (less big swings it seems) CS Proc in ES. Tried it in SW with the second one and the time went higher. 2 ACC/HOs +3ed and Procs. Gaussian's Proc in Build Up, but I'm think if I had the full set or some RCH in BU, I'd of course get better times for it. Tried using @Ston testing method, to see where I can get the set. No idea what Ston did with the Build Ups and their slotting tho. May have to try it with more recharge slotting in BU power.

  20. Animations are fine to me. ATTUNE however could use a fix in location, as it feels a little less a scream and more mental with it's location, but maybe that's just my character. Sonic Clap needs improved. It's being beat by Crosspunch. I'd say improve all the ATTUNE attacks from 10% to at least 15% if not 20% so you do more damage with Attune, as I just don't feel Attune is an attack I'd use to often. It's a single target toggle damage, which I'm okay with, but with it's animation time, I'm only going to want to use this on the hard targets and not so sure I will want to always use it on a boss. Sound Clap is the biggest issue though, give it a little more damage, at least when used on Attune targets. It needs to be better than Crosspunch in terms of helping with single target damage. Maybe with using it with Attune is an option?
  21. I didn't hate the Kelvin timeline and I thought the new Kahn felt way more super soldier than the original Khan did, not that I hate the original, I just don't hate the new one. Rebooting tho, not sure what that means. Unless it's a matter of movies don't equal the shows.
  22. The problem with live action Lower Decks is I'd say a lot of the VAs don't suit the characters and I can't imagine many liking the idea of different actors in the roles. Namely Eugene does not look like Rutherford and Noel does not look like Tendi. I would also wonder if Noel could play a live action version of Tendi, she seems the most physical of them all.
  23. Love this movie like I love Frozen! ❤️ Hope they don't ruin them with the sequel. We shall see! Funny enough, when I saw it on Netflix at first, I thought it was a series and thought "I dunno. Not sure if I want to give this series a chance." but then I saw it was a movie and I thought "Well, hell, I can give a movie a chance." Best ever!
  24. Did some early level testing on Scrapper Sonic/SR/Psi. Seemed fine to me. Attune should be t3 for sure imo. Yes, the levels go by quick so it's not to much of a factor, but I'd rather choose between Sonic Thrust and Strident Echo for that first level than Attune (but I do go for Isolator badge). I like the toggle Attune, but it seems to be of more limited use and I feel it should be tuned up a little. Also skipped to 50 and did some testing on Pylons. Went the @Ston way of testing and I was getting like it felt an average of 1:28 to 2:00 depending, so looking an average of 1:45 to me. Take that for what you will. HOWEVER, that was with Crosspunch over Sonic Clap, and this is disappointing to me. Sonic Clap has the faster animation, but I'm getting worse times with a power from the Primary that is set up to take the same slotting AND work with Attune. Sonic Clap use was clocking in with an average of 1:55. Now, no, I personally wouldn't use any of the extreme builds in normal game play, but it shows me, improve Sonic Clap and maybe increase what the attacks do when used against an Attuned target. Maybe increase that 10% to 20%?
  25. First thing I noticed... Attune is listed second in powers to choose, but when hitting the costume designer, it's listed third. It's also list third on the power listing when I hit Powers on the UI. Even at the power selection screen at level up. EDIT: Did a respec and Attune came as t3 there as well.
