I only have two, with the Gunkata at 50. The other one is my old Ice/Ice in the 30s.

All of my current 50s: Blaster-Dual Pistols/Martial Manipulation: 1 of 41 Brute-Radiation Melee/Fiery Aura: 1 of 3,423 Brute-Savage Melee/Bio Armor: 1 of 171 Brute-Kinetic Melee/Willpower: 1 of 32 Corruptor-Fire Blast/Radiation Emission: 1 of 229 Corruptor-Kinetics/Electrical Blast: 1 of 125 Scrapper-Dark Melee/Dark Armor: 1 of 116 Sentinel-Water Blast/Willpower: 1 of 51 Stalker-Martial Arts/Dark Armor: 1 of 2 Tanker-Radiation Armor/Radiation Melee: 1 of 343 Tanker-Willpower/Street Justice: 1 of 101 Tanker-Staff Fighting/Bio Armor: 1 of 58 Tanker-Willpower/Kinetic Melee: 1 of 17 VEAT-Bane/Soldier: No stats given My Fire Brute (the first character I played since the reversal of The Snap) isn’t built for farming, however, it is quite capable of doing so. Up until the Tanker changes were announced, my sole Tanker (Rad/Rad) was crested purely to try out a Tanker combination that I never played on test during Tanker Tuesdays. As you can clearly see, I love the Tanker changes enough that my main switched from a KM/WP Brute to a WP/KM Tanker. I have all of the combinations of VEAT builds (Bane/Soldier, Fortunata/Widow and the Spider as a separate character because I loathe seeing crab claws on my Bane/Soldier), however, only the Bane/Soldier has made it to 50 so far. If possible, I would like to see the ratio for VEATs in this analysis. It looks like that I am short a Controller, Defender, Dominator and both Kheldian options for the entire set. The first three are mid-30s to 40s and I have yet to try out the Khelds.

Last list, I was the only one into the 30s. Now at 50, there are two of us.

If it’s anything below the 40 range, come and find my alts. I put that in our SG salvage bins for the people that actually are looking for that.😂

@Captain Powerhouse, the sound-effect bug is still there for Shadow Maul. I would very much prefer that you just put the bamboo shoots under my nails and get the torture over with instead of the constant whiffing sound from that while testing.😄 -

This is true, however, I completely see where the Captain is coming from. Full teams will be blasting AoE which, while dampening the (soon to be added) DoT on DE really won’t matter much. When solo or on smaller teams, DE will be very useful AoE. On larger teams, Dark Melee’s single-target attacks can be used more to concentrate on hard targets while teammates clear chaff. That sounds like the epitome of utility to me. That said, DE does need either the damage or the radius to come up just a tad. Maybe somewhere close to just below Warmace on @Galaxy Brain’s excel sheet would be the perfect spot. 😁 -

Have you actually played with it or is this just more theory? I have played with it and it wasn’t bad in the Atlas Park range, which has plenty of 3-5 mob sizes if you follow the actual content instead of just AE/DFB Palooza. Entirely too much theory-crafting and not enough testing is what brought us the Brute bug and, unless you want things like that to get through every single patch, I highly suggest that you do some actual testing before giving any feedback.😉 -

Magic 8-Ball says wait at least to see the live candidate before the respec, unless the idea of rearranging your powers in trays is your thing. Day 3 of any test patch is just too early for that. -

Test I Vet 7 Dark/Dark Scrapper. Dealing with large groups is now much easier than before, which is good. The arc on Shadow Maul is fine and really doesn’t need any adjustment. The current damage modifier numbers could be left alone if it comes to either damage or radius. Dark Consumption was pretty good, even slotted with just 50 Common IOs (1 Acc, 1 Rech) and hit for an average of 300-400 after Soul Drain boosts. That thing definitely doesn’t not need crit capability. Dropping the damage potential a smidge (no more than 20%) should finish these changes and have them ready to go live. Test II Dark/Dark Tanker (1-7 currently) I started out with P2W attacks, some travels and no Double XP. Shadow Maul in this range was very helpful in dealing with the large packs in the 1-7 level range. It actually made running the Atlas Park content much less of a slog, which is always a good thing. Two things: After testing with both a Scrapper and Tanker, I have to say that I am all-in for keeping Shadow Maul just like it is. Playing that low-level Tanker makes me want to convert my Vet 7 Scrapper into one. After playing around with Dark Armor, I am compelled to ask if it’s possible for the set to get some kind of global endurance reduction for the power set this cycle? Maybe just a tad?😁 -
Character: level 1 Tanker Powersets: Dark Armor/Dark Melee I created a new character to test Dark Melee, used the influence cheat and hit P2W. Started grabbing powers, however, when I grabbed both Flying Carpet and and Void Skiff, the game crashed to desktop. I was able to immediately log back in with no further issues for the rest of the gaming session (roughly two hours).

While I can also see a slight downward adjustment for Dark Consumption in the tea leaves (and will not complain at all if I am wrong😁), approaching instead of eclipsing seems to be the whole point of these changes in the first place. As far as Shadow Maul is concerned, I have both advocated and waited years for just such an adjustment. A Dark Consumption adjustment was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. -

Adjust Energy Melee, Super Strength and Energy Aura then port them over to Scrappers and Tankers (respectively). We can call it “Issue 6, Make Most of the Melee Happy”. -
