There is a simple solution to the KB vs. KD “discussion”. Make two builds, one with KD IOs and one without.

See? Everyone has their own system adapted from the information available to anyone that will simply look it up.

I have 31 characters that I play with, 33 builds among them (Bane/Soldier and Fortunata/Widow have dual builds). All of these characters (between 27-50) possess their full build complement of IOs, with the non-50s ready to be slotted as they level. I have also adjusted at least 8 builds either as they level or after they have reached 50. I mostly play the converter game (which I use from my own merits), sell converters for influence or sell off my drops while earning Influence through normal play. There have been times that I have dipped into AE with my Rad/Fire Brute (regular play build, not farmer), but only because my build can handle that kind of play as a side-effect and it does make picking up Catalysts and Super Packs ridiculously easy. I currently possess several hundred attuned IOs and a dozen or so ATOs ready to begin slotting any new character concept that I come up with. I don’t even play a character until they possess their entire build either sitting in their enhancement tray or loaded into the market for temporary storage. This allows me to spend 99% of my game time actually playing, which is where I want to be in the first place. Figure out what works for you, make it work for you and enjoy playing the game. It’s as simple as that.

That was in reference to using KB-KD IOs in Energy Blast. The Stalker AT was in reference to “no one in their right minds will slot KB-KD IOs in every Energy power”. I have a level 50 MA/DA Stalker, being in my “right mind” is debatable.

I have one of only two level 50 MA/DA Stalkers in the entire game, for no valid reason other than I could do it. Using loads of KB-KD IOs and still having an effective build is exactly the kind of experiment that I enjoy.

I am going to give this one a try. It’s not so bad as you think. While “TOILing away normally going through content” (story arcs, morality missions and The occasional Taskforce for your Taskforce Commander badge), you will earn merits, which are your best friends. The easiest way to use these beauties is to simply exchange them for Enhancement Converters and sell them in Wentworths for an 80,000 to 90,000 each. Between these, drops that can be sold and influence earned during play, you can pick up pretty much anything you like without having to resort to living in the vegetable patch.

While I would rather be set on fire than watch that show, this one did make me laugh.🤣

A simple solution: the only AE missions that give XP are Dev’s Choice. I’m sure that Infernal wouldn’t mind the company generated by this one simple change.

The 2nd Edition is even better than the first.

For PvP IOs, if you plan to spot some just for their proc bonus (Pancea, Gladiator’s Armor and Shield Wall), it’s a good idea to either attune them or just craft them from level 10 recipes so that you can slot them as early as possible.

If those fools are on Excelsior, toss me their global so that I can add them. Anyone that you have to ignore should be ignored by everyone. Checking, I have two on my ignore list. One for spamming channels with idiocy and one that kicked Detective2416 (aka Defuser) from a chat channel for not answering tells fast enough to their liking. Anyone that would kick him should also be ignored by everyone.

Yes, that is quite the annoyance. While I don’t ignore anyone for that, I do two-star them with a note so that I can pick them out later in PUGs. There are even some that have moved from two to five after more teaming.

Imagine how much better off the DC universe would be if the Bat used these methods on him just one time.

Transfer the influence that is on the character elsewhere and have free costume changes? I’m in!

I would not be adverse to another dozen costume slots.
