i make the changes last minute on the same day, also its a public event so in case the base has already been judged you are free to show up, else it might be unfair if you show up and judge a base that is in use at the time

Ooh uuh, I m planning to host a Party at the Saturnbar this Saturday, I wanted to make some quick temporary changes there, should I just don't do the changes then? It Dosnt really have much of an impact for the party if I leave the base as is to be Judged. Admittedly I didn't expect so much competition and thereforer I didn't expect Judging to take the time it would take.

thats kinda sad, the stuff client side is mostly image files for UI elements, UI elements which arent used anymore anyway, a couple text snippits and old loading screens i m aware that most of the actually important suff like mission texts, as the most obvious example, was and is handled server side, i just assumed that because they didnt clean out the multilanguage support so thuroughly on the client side they would not have cleaned out that support so thuroughly on the server side as well, But there is probably a huge difference between leaving a handfull of images and text snippets worth a couple of Megabyte and leaving everything on the server and wasting god knows how much gigabytes unused while also impacting performance for no reason at all

weird, i was sure there was some language option client side, but its many many years ago and i might misremember it

how so if that worked on the Live servers for a long time? i cant imagine, that wehen the mutlilanguage support was removed, the life Devs cleanead out everything of that system when on the client side there seems to be so much remaining of the mutliple languages that used to be supported edit: on that note i would take just the content that was already translated on life befor they removed the multilanguage support, if games that are still supported bye there studios and publishers do similiar things by claiming to be "multilanguage" yet all the new content in the last 10 years is only in english *looking at DCUO* so Homecoming can to

the way how leagues work in CoH has some annoying quirks and problems but from what i heard and know they cant do much about those problems, at best they can prevent the auto quiting leagues when a gold sider is in the league and the league goes to Primal earth and have instead the gold sider getting auto kicked. although the major problems with how leagues work only make them self apparent when things like the Mapserver happen which is a once a year occurence, for MSR, Hami and ITFs as well as the occasional Nemesis, Zombie and Rikti invasions most of the problems with leagues arent as impactfull as leagues just stay in the same zone all the time and there isnt much change in members of the league with people droping and joining all the time. Even for Monster hunts leagues stay small and can be easy managed besides the problems of how Legues work. only occurence where the bad way leagues work has an impact would be ToTing also once a year and there leagues at least stay in zone

i would take a Portal in the style of the Ouro Portal, i already have a lot of ideas how to use it, i dont mind not having a portal in the base going to Ouro i just want something that looks like it

It's not as bad as the screenshot makes it look like tbh but I had this screenshot and compared it to all the other Screenshots. So the cars confuse you but not the partial street it's on and the buildings? My best guess some super has thrown it there, I have build it and never decided on that part of the lore

my personal opinion on Atlantis, there isnt a THE Atlantis as in the "Real Original Atlantis" that one would be an Amalgamation of Myths based on the real history of locations like the Mu island, Oranbega and many others. that dosnt mean there isnt a under water City or Nation named Atlantis, there actually might be multiple, even in the real world there are many Cities of the same name heck there is a Nation called Georgia and a State in the US ... in fact America is notoriouse for having places with the same name as a place somewhere else around the world, heck in the world of City of Heroes there is probably an Atlantis right in the middle of Lake Superior or something.... in fact maybe i should make a character from Atlantis and when people asume its the atlantis i go "oh no, i m from Atlantis Lake Superior, you think of the other one"

yup, AVG flags the homecoming launcher and some files specific to that launcher and keeps deleting them if not whitelisted, oddly only the Homecoming launcher not other launchers, but other launchers arent recommended for Homecoming and could stop working for Homecoming any day

YES ALL THE YES, for all i care they can use some heavy moded version of a preexisting zone which already exists. Grandvile migh work, replace the propaganda on the screens with advertisement, plaster the zone with even more advertisements and neo signs then a couple additional buildings copy pasted over from the other Praetorian zones and and i would be happy, its not what we would have gotten on live but its good enough for something people could put together in there freetime without pay. doubt that will ever happen but people can hope and wish

while we are at it, Gold side TFs pre lvl 20, maybe even a Gold side alternative for DFB ... same badges different enemy groups, there are good alternatives in Praetoria i think

nein kann man nicht, ist etwas traurig da viele der lokalisierungen immernoch in den dateien sind und einfach platz weg nehmen, zumindest der teil welcher lokal gespeichert ist. allerdings wurden viel inhalte nach der einstellung der lokalisierungen hinzugefügt, die würden so oder so unübersetzt bleiben -------- no you cant, it is a bit sad because many of the localisations are still in the files and just waste space, at least for the part stored locally, but much content was added after the localisation was removed, those would stay untranslated either way

one year late but better late than never. you can just add the Homecoming launcher like any game which does not come with Steam/Epic or whatnot in to Playnite, by drag and droping the shortcut if you play with controller and cant navigate the launcher you can add a play action which would look like this "this is the install path of homecoming"\bin\win64\launchercli launch live -assetpath asset this wont update the game when you launch thru Playnite though, you could add another action for updating the game but you still wont see if an update is even needed, also Playnite goes right back on top of the game so its not really worth doing it this way, thats because of the way how Playnite detects if a game is running and Playnite asumes the Launchercli.exe is the game. if someone can make a Playnite Library plugin for the Homecoming Launcher that would solve such issues, but i doubt that would happen, Playnite is a super niche software and CoH is a bit niche it self doubt there isnt much overlap on people who play CoH, use playnite and can make a Playnite plugin. but then there are plugins for Minecraft launchers which are even more niche

Except slotting it and gaining bragging rights about having it slotted like that, sure it's not usefull to be slotted like that in combat but you can share a screenshot of it being slotted and show everyone how cool and unique your characters slotted enhancements are

The chaotic nature of Gobbos meant that some ran away after or even befor, also I didn't get to great quality pics in general but I look if some pictures of the party are qualitative good and can be shared

Reunion was left in Europe to throw players from there a bone when the other shards where moved to North America, i dont think they will merge Reunion in to another shard, it will probably another shard with low population that gets merged in to Reunion. although .... i play on Everlasting and i dont experience high latency or lag, not that it matters to much for this type of game
