  1. I woulda thought they would have cast someone around Pedro’s age to play Doom - but I guess that was me hoping they would have stuck with some of the lore from the comics. What the hell do I know
  2. STDs count…
  3. Thought you were banned from the HOF after getting caught gambling on PVP battles?
  4. You def died. It should have been immediately over for you. ”Helping” your teammates while you lay dead on the floor, should not have been allowed.
  5. This player sat in front of his computer and had a decision to make. Do I…… A. Say something in chat like “I’m running out of time, would it be okay if we picked up the pace?” or B. Say nothing and hope no one notices as I race ahead and clear mobs all by myself. Decisions, decisions. You know what, if I choose B they will all marvel at my skill and probably immediately nominate me for “Bestest Player of The Year” award. Im going with B!
  6. My favorite western!
  7. 50mill per film, plus a percentage of the BO is what’s being reported.
  8. That’s like saying you only love it because you watch too many YT videos loving literally everything Marvel does. It completely discounts your ability to have opinions of your own.
  9. Didn’t help that they portrayed him as the jobber of the week.
  10. Blind squirrel. Broken clock 🙂
  11. This just reeks of them thinking what the fans want, is familiar faces - when in reality, we want good movies.
  12. His Pitch Meetings are great! Ive gone through and watched all of them.
  13. One who secretly loved Rebel Moon, I think.
  14. My issue is that he is so busy typing up and posting 10000 word essays for changes, that he doesn’t actually engage in any type of discussion about the ideas. Post a suggestion in a format that doesn’t put people to sleep three times while trying to read it. Defend/explain your position. Once it’s played out, post your next suggestion.
  15. He already quit. Long time ago.
  16. The check is in the mail
  17. Since the OPs suggestions always seem AI generated, I asked AI his question…. In City of Heroes, the decision not to tie body sliders directly to gameplay stats is primarily rooted in creative freedom and diversity. Here are a few reasons why this approach was taken: - Character Customization: City of Heroes emphasizes character customization, allowing players to create unique heroes with distinct appearances. By decoupling body sliders from stats, players can freely adjust their characters' proportions, features, and overall look without worrying about performance implications. - Avoiding Meta Optimization: If body sliders influenced stats, players might feel pressured to optimize their characters based on specific slider configurations. This could lead to a meta where everyone aims for the same "ideal" body proportions, limiting creativity and resulting in less diverse hero designs. - Separation of Aesthetics and Mechanics: City of Heroes intentionally separates aesthetics (appearance) from mechanics (gameplay). This design philosophy encourages players to focus on role-playing and storytelling rather than min-maxing stats. It also ensures that players can express their creativity without sacrificing effectiveness in combat. - Community and Identity: The game's community values individuality and celebrates the wide range of hero designs. By keeping body sliders separate from stats, City of Heroes fosters a sense of identity and encourages players to embrace their unique characters. In summary, City of Heroes prioritizes player creativity, diversity, and role-playing by allowing body customization without impacting gameplay effectiveness. Different servers or private servers may handle this aspect differently, but the core philosophy remains consistent across the game's history. 😊🦸‍♂️
  18. Time travel is simple to understand….if you don’t think about it 🙂
  19. You must not have read any of his TF adventures - quit a few ended with Dr Snarkalopolous quitting and please don’t take issue with something that was meant as a joke. After all, Snarky knew what I meant by it - hence his laughter emoji
  20. Nobody goes into a movie thinking “I hope the leads don’t die this time” But they still want a feeling of pending doom. They still want to wonder “how will they get out of this one” or “how they gonna beat this baddie”. IMO that’s taken away when you immediately know - “no biggie. They can just time travel and try again” Then it goes from “I gotta go see how they deal with this situation” to “nah, I’ll wait for it to come out on video. I’m sure they’ll just call the rest of the Avengers or pull some kinda time travel nonsense”
  21. Guess the ending of Infinity War shocked the hell outta you then 🙂
  22. I mention it as being a negative for the general audience. Comic fans will see the movies regardless, but they aren’t enough to sustain the types of movies put out by Marvel. If the GA doesn’t feel the stakes or threat are “real”, then it’s no longer must see. The GA will just assume everything will be fixed by time travel.
  23. I’ve always thought it should have rebooted after Endgame. IMO they should have announce “Forget everything you’ve seen before. That does not exist here”. Then built a new universe around a different team - XMen, Alpha Flight, etc. I think by not doing that, they essentially eliminated any real threat in standalone movies for the average movie goer “The Avengers can save the day” or “Time travel”. They also are now falling into what I call “The Batman Issue”. Instead of building up new characters over time, they are now recycling ones that were successful in the past - such as wanting to bring back Downey and Evans again, instead of letting their respective stories stay done.
  24. I actually really enjoyed the movie
