Maybe I’m misremembering, but I seem to recall being turned off by all the twists in the early MI movies, so I stopped watching them. Have to disagree with you on the CA reboot - imo, that was just a really bad movie. Not MCU Eternals bad, where I had to turn it off. But bad enough that I was upset that I wasted my time watching it (at home nonetheless)

Forgot about MI - maybe it’s because I don’t like those movies. Thought the C-Files movie was only a moderate success. Could be wrong though. Now that I’ve had time to think, I guess the original Charlie’s Angels movie didn’t do too bad

Looks like the controversy isn’t actually over. Apparently if you live somewhere that you can’t have PSN, you can no longer play the game. Sounds like Sony is still planning to push the Steam/PSN link

On at least 1 occasion I’ve seen someone quickly drop an TT outside a cave we just cleared, only for the next mish to be in the same cave.

Some people are so used to instinctively popping open a portal, I’ve seen them do it for the “talk to so and so” and even missions in the same zone, a couple hundred feet away

I feel like every time someone abandons a TF, they should auto flagged. Once 7 are flagged, they are auto transported to a random TF with Snarky as the leader. They can never log onto another toon, or account. They are all trapped together until the TF is completed.

I wonder how playable a toon would be from live, if plopped down in the middle of todays game.

This part has always fascinated me about this forum. I remember a couple years ago, a couple posters tried cramming “inner circle” into seemingly everything they posted. Well, every world leader has trusted advisors. Every coach/manager of every pro sports franchise has a group of trusted assistants that they take with them everywhere they go. Every team leader at every company has at least one person they rely on to close deals, make sales, etc. If you have a group of friends, I’m sure there are one or two that you could count on to have your back, or help you hide a body. So, why should the HC devs be any different? (not necessarily directed at you Ukase) Why are they expected to operate differently than the rest of society? Why would they not listen to a few trusted individuals that they feel comfortable with? Im not saying they only listen to a “select few”. I got no idea, and honestly don’t care - I love the game, and they’ve not made one single change that bothers me so badly that I want to complain. Are there things I’d like to see changed or included? Yes, of course. But I won’t have fits because they’re not.

I could be thinking about this all wrong. But let’s say HC came right out and said “screw all you babies. Play our way or leave!”, causing everyone to leave. Wouldn’t it just go back to what it was before? A small server of a couple hundred players? It wouldn’t cease to exist, and it’s not like a profitable business would be shutting down. Im not advocating or defending the HC crew. I’m just trying to understand why players think HC has a responsibility to the players - or maybe they do, and I’m just not understanding (which wouldn’t be the first time I didn’t understand something)

I’m just not sure how true that actually is. Yes they were given a license to operate a server - but it’s technically still a private server. They did agree to some things, but still have absolute control over everything. Now, I’m no expert on anything, and may be misinterpreting the whole agreement. However, what I do know is that they are under no obligation to appease the players. Companies such as Sony or Blizzard have to make the player base happy or they will lose money and eventually go out of business.

Maybe I’m wrong - but I thought beta testing was supposed to be about finding issues before going live. Not about offering opinions or pushback about the upcoming changes. Just remember, we are playing in someone else’s sandbox. They have a vision for the game, and have every right to implement that vision. This isn’t a publicly traded company that has to appease shareholders, nor is it a for profit that has to do whatever they can to make the customers happy. Like it or not, it is still just a private server that has allowed us all access to play along.

Yeah, the same community manager who told everyone to flood them with bad reviews and refund requests if they wanted Sony to walk it back.

What a disaster They we’re getting rave reviews from gamers, and they’ve gone and made a mess of things

It’s even worse knowing that they knew this would be required upon release, but delayed it 6months - and still sold it to areas that can’t get PSN……without saying a word

I believe there is an equal amount of folks who feel if you don’t fly through a TF at a ridiculous pace, you’re also doing it wrong.
