I always take stealth, for the def and to sneak past things You could also go with combat jump for def (if you need anymore) Hows your recharge? Hasten can help with that.

At the very least - it should be advertised as a +3 or +4 No need to trick people. There are plenty of players who enjoy that type of challenge

First I felt bad for Snarky. Then I started to think that maybe he had an aura of bad luck following him around. But now I think Snarky is the one forming all these messes and then coming on here and blaming someone else. Its the only explanation I can come up with for how many he experiences.

Yeah, I get that. Even when I’m on teams that turn into total disasters, I’ve just never thought to look at my teammates powers and give them suggestions. I may say something along the lines of “anyone have clear mind? It may help with this part” - but I never say it knowing that someone has it. Only that no one has used it. Guess it all comes down to personalities. If a TF goes bad, I ask myself if there’s anything I could have done to make it go better, but Ive never been upset enough to start investigating what others did or didn’t do.

Don’t think I’ve ever looked to see what power choices my teammates have made.

Not all “Kill Alls” are about the XP. When I put together a kill all/kill most TF - it’s my way of insuring no one runs off at hyper speed, leaving the rest of the group behind to either chase after, or stand around doing nothing.

You have horrible luck……or are bad luck. Not sure which. I run on PUGs all the time. Occasionally I will find myself on a team of players who either don’t know what they are doing, or have no interest in playing like a team. Don’t believe I’ve ever had messes like you run into, twice in one day. Im gonna have to run with you at least once to experience one of these messes, and figure out if you have an aura of bad luck following you around.

I never let someone else’s opinion of powers or ATs get in the way of my fun. Neither should you. If you enjoy playing it, quit worrying about what others think.

If you have fire defense, your resistance should be easy to cap at 90%. In fact, I have a hard time not going way over on resists. Just dropping 3 IOs into Fire Shield, Temp Protect, and Plasma Shield will get you to 90% fire resist. If you are actually asking about Fire Defense - Winter IOs will help tremendously. But they are expensive. Are you able to post your build so we can take a look at it?

Out of curiosity, you’re not running with Hasten are you? Me personally, that’s one of the last powers I take just because it helps eat up endurance. As for end red. I drop one in every attack (1st slot) with two in the higher end costing ones - and I use SOs until 50

“For the new players!” Wouldnt it be better in the long run if they learned to play - which includes end management? Just activating all the toggles, or just mashing attacks, with no consequences just takes one more challenge away from the game.

Yeah, I agree about the rushing through missions/TFs Its gotten to the point where its the norm and not the exception. Now I dont join anything unless its specified that's its NOT A SPEED RUN in LFG, and that doesn't always mean its not. Ive dropped from a few TF's because of this. Anyways, as Moon offered, Ill run with you anytime you like @Neiska We can go super slow, read the story, or even do some farming. I'm good with anything - except chasing after my teammates who run off at a hundred miles an hour, usually in different directions, leaving me to fend for myself.

Isn't that the same thing you are doing? Your contention is that @biostem has categorized all farmers based off the very few. You yourself have stated repeatedly that you refuse to play with anyone, because of the actions of the very few. Am I missing something?

Most likely because you are more sensitive to it. I play on Excelsior and only occasionally do I notice someone in LFG respond to someone looking for a farm negatively. Usually it doesn’t last long - a comment or two. Not saying it doesn’t happen more, just that I’m not on the “lookout” for it, so I may not always notice it.

I’ve never understood the desire to PL to 50. I get it if you’ve already experienced the power sets, and know how to play with those certain powers. I just don’t get wanting to do it on powers you’ve never tried before. Last thing I want to learn is which powers of a set I like, and how to play them, when strolling through a 4X8 ITF.

Are you absolutely sure you want the Devs looking at AE/farming and XP again?
