  1. I just started this with my Elec/SD Scrapper. Before I finished I decided I didn't want to know what the very low number was going to be so I quit.
  2. Definitely take both. I suggest skipping Confront.
  3. 1) No. I've never had competition for mobs be much of an issue at all, especially since you get credit for mission completion if you hit a mob at least once and somebody else finishes it off. 2) Scrapper is usually the better choice for this. But there are situations a tank might be better, but not many in my opinion. I'm gonna have to disagree here! First and foremost because Scrapperlock is life. But in low and mid levels not having a fury bar to maintain is nice. Now I realize this is my problem, but constantly chasing fury at lower levels caused me to run out of endurance and/or get in over my head way too many times.
  4. except we're rightfully bothered that the game has already been changed and a lot of people are unhappy with the changes. homecoming says they've received "overwhelming support" despite never once to my knowledge putting out a poll or survey regarding the current changes between i24-i25. They're manufacturing a narrative. It's my understanding there are people running a more vanilla i24 version of the game, or will be soon. If that option exists, then what exactly is the problem?
  5. I was looking at it and kinda bummed it seemed to have significantly more knockdown compared to knockback. I would have loved to make a Storm/Wind and send mobs flying all over the place. Maybe create a team with 7 tanks and me for maximum hilarity.
  6. It can vary based on patience and luck. If you want to go the market and immediately get them, it can easily set you back a few million. If you're patient and craft recipes that drop for you and/or you're patient enough to bid on the lower end of enhancements, then it really won't cost much at all. The crafting cost for level 25 IOs is between 16-36k each, plus the cost of salvage. Here is a link that has a table with crafting costs: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Common_Invention_Recipes
  7. jshmoe is hoping to use his Rad/Bio Scrapper for this, but I'm still undecided. I'm open to absolutely anything, but some that stick out as possibilities are WP or Shield. Perhaps DM/WP? I know WP can survive quite a bit, but if I go with that, what primary would pair well with it? DM is always good, but what about Psi or Titan Weapons? I'm not overly concerned with a lot of AoE, as likely whatever secondary I use will need minions to stick around for various ways to buff me. Assume that going into this the top tier Incarnate slots across the board and price is not going to be a problem with getting IOs. Does anyone think there is a better or more viable option than DM/WP?
  8. I had a DM/SR back in the day and it was amazing. I even picked lower levels for my sets so I could be soft capped down to level 27 or 28. Was a ton of fun.
  9. I need to get to 50 already Running around with Fortitude on top of my soft cap defenses, AAO, and perma-hasten is pretty nuts. So yes, get to 50!
  10. Claws and Dark are great, used them both. But Psi and Titan Weapons both look pretty awesome, so one of those is likely next on my list. If you're going to stick to either Claws or Dark, I personally much prefer Dark.
  11. Some people(like me) prefer to get to 50 then go back and do lower level missions and Task Forces. It's fine if you want to do it a more traditional way. What's not fine is you asking for the game to be adjusted for everybody else so they have to play the way you want them to play. Not true. Form your own teams. Whenever I want to do something specific I form the team and use the LFG channel and it has worked every single time without fail.

I know nothing about Psi, so I'm won't comment on that, except skip Confront. Even Regen I haven't used since when the big change was made around issue 3 I think? But I can give some general stuff. Quick Recovery take as soon as it's available, more endurance is always welcome. Personally, I'd skip Revive since you can get a good enough rez power from the P2W Vendor. Unless you just don't have anything else you want, I'm not a huge fan of Moment of Glory either. It just doesn't last long enough for my tastes, but that's just a personal preference, others may feel differently. Hasten is always great. Combat Jumping might be the only power I always take on every character without exception. It's just so incredibly useful when fighting. So just taking a quick look at Psionic Melee, Greater Psi Blade seems to be absolutely awesome.
  13. The Seer Seekers do indeed cast fortitude on you if you summon them, have confimed it with one of my own, and from Paragon Wiki https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_Slot_Abilities
  14. I was level 26 or 27 when Instant Healing was changed to a click power, they was kinda a bummer. But I didn't cry about for a decade. I made it to level 36, got bored, then made a new hero.

We'll need more information than that. What are your goals for the build? Is this for leveling, end game, generic IOs, sets, perma hasten, etc? Any pool powers you are committed to taking because they fit a concept or you just like it?
  16. I've gone without travel powers before, it's perfectly doable. Combat Jumping is the only power in the game I actually consider mandatory, at least for myself.
  17. No, ED didn't make sub-optimal slotting strategies more viable, it just made the most efficient slotting strategy unviable. I'll repeat it another way, ED did not make any slotting strategy more effective than it had been Pre ED, it just made the best strategy Pre ED slotting strategy ineffective/unworthwhile. There was only more slotting variety because the best strategy became worthless, net effectiveness plummeted. We can engage in infinite sophistry to make it sound like ED made 1 acc, 3dmg, 1 end reduc, 1 rech worthwhile but the truth remains that you don't need the greater recharge if you have greater dmg and they are not equal, because of ED you now need the end reduc because you have to use your powers more to get the same result as Pre ED again an unequal trade. Let's pretend for a minute you have a point. Ok, so what? What does it matter? This is an argument that was lost and dismissed over ten years ago at this point. It didn't stop the change from happening, the game never got rid of ED, and there is nothing to suggest it will happen now. It's over and you lost, it's that simple.
  18. Am I the only person having this issue?
  19. Ok, what songs should be on an unofficial Scrapper Playlist? Genre doesn't matter, just as long as it kicks ass.
  20. Scrappers. Always Scrappers.
  21. Well, I remember the posts by Statesman. It wasn't about making powers better without needing to overslot them or rebalancing the game. He and the other devs explicitly said it (like the Purple Patch, Taunt and AoE target limits) was to change the way people were playing the game. That's a punishment to people who wanted to play the game that way. Then, long after the fact (and after Statesman left) the DEVs retconned the change as a necessary step, not to fix gameplay at the time, but to prepare for the Inventions system that would let hardcore players get OP in a different way. You can claim the word punishment is over the top, but it was "you guys were naughty so we are changing the rules so you can't break them in ways we don't want you to." Your perception simply doesn't reflect reality.
  22. So I constantly disconnect and have to restart the game when zoning into PI. Does anybody else have this problem? And if so, is there a fix?
  23. Scrapper forums are always a good one to use, Scrappers are the best. What are your powersets and general playstyle and goals with this build?
  24. This is a good thing and the entire point of ED. I wonder if the curve had been more gradual but still had the effect of neutering enhancements after 3-slotting, would that have made him content? I seriously doubt it.
  25. You lost this argument and fight years ago, might as well just get overit. This is a good thing and the entire point of ED.
