    I can look at the build a little later, but as far as the heal/absorb are concerned, I'm pretty sure it's going to be one or the other when slotted. Some powers have an absorb component and that is when that would apply, but in a power like Healing Flames it would be the heal. I think that is right, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  4. I second the suggestion of adding Impale, it's a fantastic power.
  5. I like this idea, but unfortunately that could cause issues for people on tighter budgets not being able to count on exactly when such a debit could occur. And someone being bumped up several spots because X amount of people couldn't be charged one month(regardless of why), could put someone into overdraft or NSF fees charged by their bank. I realize some may counter with better budgeting, spending habits, or whatever else, but this is just the reality for a lot of people. And I'm sure the last thing the HC team wants is some auto process to cause people to overdraft on their bank account, or get chargebacks because someone forgot they were signed up and they get the bank or HC to refund the money. I feel it would carry more overhead and other potential risks than would be worth it.
  6. I do a lot of exemplar-ing so I keep most of set bonuses all the way down to L23. You might want to consider the attuned variants of the enhancements. As far as I know, attuning a set IO causes it to level up and down with you within the limits of the IO set so you keep the set bonuses as low as possible while also getting full enhancement values at level 50. They're also available in the AH at no extra cost because the "bucketing" feature allows you to buy one if the corresponding IO of any level is put up for sale. How do you attune a set IO? I thought AIOs and very rare sets were attuned. So I use enhancement catalysts to attune them? Yes. I have started doing that with my Elec/SD Scrapper and the set bonuses remain so long as you are not exemplared below the minimum level of that particular IO set. So when you exemplar down to level 30 for example, all attuned enhancements will function as if they were level 30. It's not cheap though. Catalysts cost 20 merits each, and range anywhere from 3-5 million on the market. They can also drop from kills. I don't recall how the effect of uniques like Miracle or Numina's work though, so I'm not sure what attuning them would do if it is slotted in something like Health and not used for some sort of set bonus.
  7. I'm good with that being an option, but it should be noted if a leader doesn't make that clear before the TF starts, it's an easy way to get people to quit real early in a Task Force. I would have zero problem dropping a team without warning if that was selected and I didn't agree to it beforehand.
  8. My suggestion is to either buff enemies or debuff heroes when starting a Task Force like that to give an extra challenge, or perhaps go for a Master Of badge.
  9. They can both crit, and I do see the proc going off from time to time when I use Lightning Rod. Assuming combat doesn't stop I use Lightning Rod twice a minute almost always followed immediately with Shield Charge. I just don't know if that is the best use of the proc.
  10. So right now I have this slotted in Lightning Rod which is at about a 22-23 second recharge, and I almost always follow that up with Shield Charge which is on the same cooldown. Is this a good use, or do you think I'd be better served putting it into Thunderstrike, which has a significantly shorter recharge?
  11. JSHMOE is going with Rad/Bio. I'm considering Shield, but I just finished a build for an Elec/SD, so I'm hoping to go another route, but it seems it is the most popular vote for secondary. Guess I'm gonna look at Ice/SD some more and see what I can do with it.
  12. What do yall think about TW/WP? I've used WP plenty, so I know that's great and I've heard good things about TW. I'm also considering Ice/SD as that looks promising.
  13. I have filed a ticket. But this has been going on for weeks now. Currently trying to get into the game, 8 attempts to get PI to zone have failed so far. Guess I won't be finishing this STF. Got back in game after ten tries.
  14. So after having to restart five times just to properly zone into Galaxy City, it now won't load King's Row my very next attempt to switch zones.
  15. Still no word at all in any way about what may be going on with this? Because now I can't log in at all, it just freezes at the loading screen.
  16. I don't recall fighting Silver Mantis as an EB, but as an AV only Ghost Widow and Lord Recluse game me more trouble when I tried to solo them. So I'm assuming she's on the tougher side as far as EBs go.

The code had to leak from somewhere inside Paragon Studios or NC Soft, so any employee saying anything has the potential to put themselves at risk of civil and/or criminal charges depending on specifics and the country in which the leak took place. Plus future potential employers likely wouldn't look to kindly on a developer that leaked a company's code. Too much risk without any potential reward.

  20. If I make a free lemonade stand on the sidewalk in front of my house, is Minute Maid going to sue me for threatening their profits? I'm of the opinion that Marvel and DC likely don't give a shit about this, and NC Soft is gonna do whatever they feel like, so I'm not gonna stress. But I would like to point out that your example here is incredibly terrible and does not in any way apply to this situation. You can't copyright recipes, so there would be no copyright claim possible and assuming the the stand didn't claim in some way to be associated with Minute Maid, there would be no trademark possible either.
  21. I've had this issue for several weeks and nobody has responded regardless of where I've asked. So don't expect much. I just deal with it and miss Task Force missions from time to time when I have to log back in or restart the game, it's awesome.
  22. I like your build a lot, it's probably better than anything I could come up with. I wanted to offer some fine-tuning advice. -Hasten is already perma with 2 slots. -For the Kismet +6% acc to be active, Combat Jump needs to be toggled on. Slotting it in Phalanx Fighting, Kismet would be active all the time. Useful if you're rezzed, and you LR/SC immediately to knock enemies off their feet before toggling. -Swapping the Ribosome HO (In Tough) for the Unbreakable Guard res/end would provide a 2.5% endurance discount (Set bonus) for all your powers. Enhancement Boosters can get the stats about the same as the HO. -A lot of players like to slot the rech/def HO in Active Defense. The def portion of the HO increases DDR, rech so you can overlap the casting to double the effects. -4 Gift of the Ancients in Weave increases max end by 1.8%. Changing a slot to Stamina for a 4th Performance Shifter would yield a better result (If you're slotting it for endurance). I removed that slot from Hasten and added it to Stamina for more recovery. Since I no longer realy need the Gift of the Ancients I slotted five Lucks in Weave to get more HP and regen. Regen isn't a huge goal of mine, but it's starting to add up. I'm very ineterested in more HP, so I like that from Lucks. I'll also eventually be going for the Accolades to get more overall HP and Enurance. I forgot to take that slot out of Hasten, I didn't save this build earlier in the week so I had to rethink my changes. So thank you for the heads up. I actually have Combat Jumping on all the time, it's a mandatory power for all of my characters. And yeah, I'll be slotting for recovery/endurance as well, so I'm going to throw these suggestion in there and see how it looks. I appreciate it.
