Hi all, I got bit by RL again, and will likely be late to TT tonight. Veteran Tankers, please get the event rolling and I"ll see you when I can get there.

The general thought is that w/o DDR there's no need for Defense on Resistance built Tanks (the defense gets stripped away too easily). But, on live I ran an Electric/Fire as my main Tank for a long time. I think he had 45%+ to Melee and probably 20-30% Def against most other things. Here I'm currently testing an Elect Armor/Elect Melee Tank that has almost no Def and is pretty much capped to all except Toxic (I'd don't recall his Tox Resist). This may be a strictly memory vs reality vs game mechanics/math issue, but I swear my Tanker from live was more survivable (could be the 2ndry coming into play too Fire vs Elect). I'm slowing working on a second build to try out. So I'm afraid I don't have any solid info to contribute, but I am looking for an answer to this question too. I'll post my conclusions when I get to them. Until then I look forward to hearing from other Tankers as well. I'm not sure what level your Tank is but some of the Incarnate abilities can really help cover holes in the build or speed up how fast mobs go down (dead mobs are the best damage mitigation).

I was out there this last Saturday and looked pretty okay to me (two stars filled on the server status), so seems okay if we can get players to join the event. So, I'm going to say we're going for it the 21st. Hope everyone can join us. My Tanker out there is only 12ish, so unless we're running DFBs and Posi, I won't keep the league star. ;)

Just a bump and to remind everyone that Dec 29th is on the way and to level up/tool out your Tanks before the event! Also, Lor, was there any changes or instructions you want to give on your take for the upcoming Hami?

We've had requests to run one there. So, we're going to try. But, if no one is there, I guess it's a moot point...

As-in "not enough Tanks there" or "Saturday isn't a good day", or "Coordinating through time zones is tough"? Anyways, I know it's difficult with all the different zones involved, but we're Tanks, so let's make this happen. I was thinking about starting it around 10:00 AM PT. Thanks for confirming that Ms A. I didn't remember that the Hive Abyss was originally co-op, I thought they made that change later. Either way, it's good to know we have options and don't need to disrupt the normally scheduled events to get our TT-centric fix. Now, if we could just get another RWZ... 😉

Hi all, This topic has come up a couple of times now and us getting over to Reunion is a bit difficult (time zones, limited number of Tuesdays... ), unless we 1) got on a 5th Tuesday (in which case we won't be there very frequently), or 2) run an event on Saturday. On live we did the to make it to the Euro servers on selected Saturdays, so there is a precedence for an "off day" TTT. Anyone interested? Also, I think I saw at least one, or two other Tank enthusiasts asking about TTs on Reunion, if you're out there and can join the discussion we'd like your input. The next step would be to decide on which Saturday to hold the event. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

I hear you. Feels both good somewhat sad at the same time. All we need to do now is learn North from South and attempt an all Tanker BAF!!

I don't think we did anything special last time on Excel. So someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the Abyss is open to all.

Hi all, Our next Tankers vs Hami will be on Everlasting on December 29th! So mark you calendars and get in on another stab at showing what Tanks can do! I think overall we'll go with the format/formula we discussed and executed on Excel, including heading to the Abyss to run the raid (unless we hear that it's better to use the Hive). That said, Lor (our Everlasting host) will be leading this raid, and I'll be sitting back and enjoying the chaos from another aspect 😉 So, please join us on the December 29th, on Everlasting, for the 2nd Tanks vs Hami. You all are officially invited and we hope to see you there!
