It's pretty common. I did a one minute video with Soulbound slotted in Soldiers. Soulbound activated about 22 times, and double stacked 10 times, in 60 seconds.
-
Everyone has been using Degen Core but wouldn't Degen Radial be better on an MM? Radial's 25% chance to regen debuff + 75% chance to apply toxic DoT vs Core's 75% chance to regen debuff and 25% chance to apply toxic DoT. I would imagine 6 pets could max stacks with a 25% chance as easily as a single hero with a 75% chance. Toxic damage would be greatly improved.

Beasts would probably do quite well vs a pylon because it's a stationary target. The T1/T2 pets, without any ranged attacks, often have trouble killing a fleeing enemy. I made a video: My character has Brawl on auto and set to follow a Freak, Lion is set to attack my target. There's a 10 second period we're chasing but not getting any attacks off. Even though hero/pet move faster than the Freak, they tail behind, just out of melee attack range. Other MM pets, will cycle through their powers while chasing and use a ranged attack when it's charged. The 10 second chase in the video is excessive but it's not uncommon to see Beasts chase for 2-5 seconds, several times per enemy. I've put Beasts on aggressive and sent them into a group of enemies, 3-5 levels lower than my pets. Watching them run around was frustrating. Especially knowing if it were any other MM primary, their targets would have been dead in a fraction of the time. The next Freak in the video runs past a barricade and the Lion gets stuck there for 10 seconds. Other MM primary would have switched to ranged attacks. If the Beasts AI could be tweaked a bit and/or increase the range of their attacks by 1-2', it would be a big improvement. Sorry, I'm not posting my builds anymore. Last one I posted, someone used it, didn't say thanks/didn't give credit. I made a snarky remark about stealing my build and got berated saying I can't read and says he got the build on another forum. It's too bad too because several people have been asking me for my Scrapper/Stalker/MM builds which I would have shared before, but decline now. If you post a build, I'll give advice/critique it.

I recommend the following. Yes, Achilles' is slotted in Spec Ops and Freezing Rain. FR also has Annihilation debuff IO. Soldiers probably would be the better option but they're jammed packed with other IOs. Reactive is great but don't discount Degenerative. Degen won't really show up on the dps meter the same way Reactive does, but over on the Scrapper's Pylon Kill thread, Degen has proven to be more effective. BGSacho has some great results using it with Thugs. Reduce an enemy's hp, which in turn reduces their regen, and add proc damage. I'm going to switch over as soon as I collect some incarnate mats. Endurance is not that bad when 50+, fully IO'd and have incarnates. My build has recovery of 3.08 e/s, end use of 1.46 e/s (Leadership x3, Steamy Mist and Scorpion Shield). So recovery is actually 1.62 e/s. I put Storm's big 3 powers into Obitus' dps calculator. Their end consumption averages out to 1.584 e/s with Hasten and 1.267 e/s without Hasten. I gain slightly more end than they burn. I use Snow Storm occassionally, Hurricane almost never except when dps testing vs a pylon. Keeping Gale on auto during long battles is what hurts my end the most.

Mercs/Storm - 106s/489.5dps. Swallowed skittles like there's no tomorrow to make it a less hectic run. T4 Musc Radial, T4 Reac Radial, T4 Support Core (Untoggled).
-
I've been using the SNBR damage meter BGSacho mentioned in the MM Pylon Damage Thread. It's a pretty solid indicator on how the procs perform on each pet. Took down a pylon, and screenshot the data. Under each pet, any line item with the word, "bonus," is damage done by procs. Warpath - Commando - Explosive Strike (12.2% proc damage) Prowl - Soldiers - Lady Grey/Shield Breaker (32.2% combine proc damage) Smokescreen - Spec Ops - Lady Grey/Shield Breaker (28.8% combine proc damage) Red Alert - Medic - Lady Grey/Shield Breaker (38% combine proc damage) Mirage - Spec Ops - Lady Grey/Shield Breaker (21.1% combine proc damage) Sideswipe - Soldiers - Lady Grey/Shield Breaker (28.4% combine proc dam) Four slotted procs accounted for about 29% of T1+T2 pet damage. I'm excluding Commando because Explosive Strike in kind of low and I may swap it out for a unique aura, to test a proc in Tornado. But this data is a short 105 second test. I'm going to do a 30 minute proc test the next MSR raid I run into.

Incarnate selections... Which fully effect our pets? Are there best choices?
StrikerFox replied to Yipp's topic in Mastermind
Avoid Assault Hybrid on Mercs. Double Hit seems to occur for attacks that do 50+ damage with a single hit, but since a lot of Merc's attacks are DoT, Assault Hybrid often fails to activate. I went with T4 Support Core for Mercs/Storm. -
Haha! Don't want to give enemy players the satisfaction of scoring points off you in pvp? Defeat yourself! StJ/SR Stalker. 96s, 527dps. T4 Musc Core, T4 Degen Core. [bU]-AS-CU-SB-[bU]-AS-SC-SB-IS-repeat. I had the SNBR dps program running and can't figure out how IS out-dps SB. Especially since SB is used twice in the chain, and they're slotted pretty much the same. Ran out of endurance at the very end. It prompted me to investigate why end recovery was low compared to my Pine's build. Discovered I had the wrong Numina's IO slotted the whole time.

T4 Reactive Radial. Also T4 Musculature Radial. Pets are slotted with damage procs: Soldiers: Lady Grey, Shield Breaker, Soulbound Spec-Ops: Achilles, Lady Grey, Shield Breaker Commando: Explosive Strike
-
Mercs/Storm, 136s for 409.75dps. SNBR is pretty neat, it's nice seeing the dps/stats. It's a little buggy though. I couldn't click the Commando to see his attack stats and when I click the Medic, it showed Tornado info.

Didn't even know this post existed. Thanks. Found the one I modified off of Ship of Heroes (Archived forums?) And modified at the suggestion of Gmredux's early advice. Build was around 600mil - If I chose to craft, it would have been half that. I've avoided resistances for defense and of course -to hit (which is essentially more def) Haven't had issues yet and I'm rolling around at +4x8 I see. The build you found happens to have the exact same slotting in Maneuvers and Shadow Fall. Including the level 30 LotG +7.5% recharge IO's, exactly like my build posted in the above link. That's the weirdest coincidence. Should give credit to the creator. I'm sure the dude on the SoH forum worked hard on it.
-
I actually think Mercs benefit the most from procs. With the right slotting, their dps could jump from second last to third among MM pets (Behind Ninjas and Thugs). If anyone has a taunter on Torchbearer, I would love to do some pet dps testing on a pylon.
-
Iirc, back during live, Reactive Radial was the best choice when pylon testing. Degenerative Core was second. Interface can only be stacked so many times, and was sort of a waste when every Tom, Dick and Harry; Peter, Paul and Mary had Reactive.

Ninja/Time build, comments and suggestions please.

Few things: Losing set bonuses from Shield Wall/Reactive Defense by slotting uniques in Scorpion Shield instead of Maneuvers. Hasten is perma with a single slot. Slotting for recharge in Smoke Flash seems like a waste. 2 slots to shave off 1 second doesn't seem worth it imo. Go for Musculature or Intuition instead of Agility Core Alpha. In the end, Agility is only providing about +1.72% def to your pets. Chrono Shift provides a good amount of endurance mod already. Hasten/CS are perma without it. I recommend frankenslotting pets to try to increase their damage. Don't worry too much about their accuracy. PB+FS, tactics and Supremacy will provide around +35% tohit and Jounins will def debuff targets. Also likely receiving additional buffs if you normally team instead of solo. I wouldn't frankenslot Chrono Shift. Losing out on set bonuses, and the end result would be pretty much the same. Still perma, similar heal amount/endurance mod/cost. Implemented the changes into your build. Empty slot in Jounin is for the Shield Breaker proc. With PB+FS, S/L is at +51.75% and Energy is at +49%: | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1473;692;1384;HEX;| |78DA6594CB4F135114C6EFB453903E686BA994D2D21684626B2B55D79A0814A3AD4| |129A82B32698732863EA425D1A57F853B5F7F80891A81E8CA44172EDCB81088AFE8| |4A54C044DDB8A9A7F39DD02633C9E4D7FB9D7B1EF79BCE646F4CD81F4EDD3A2D24D| |7F89252ABCD67955A5D5D2E69E58225AB14B5BC59D0D549B7AF15999F5929952AE5| |E405AD7C4DA945DA02675616169239ADA4529DB2565D5952EA5AA52CDCD395CA52B| |25D72EA4A46550AEA726D51AB3AF4755A2B2ED6B572D1AAAF66AAAA5A084C56B57C| |B2AD4556C9AB3CE54D1FCD15A5FB9145F0D5B088AF262182B2306D3783C43959889| |42CE42F66F00AD61DE3269D1BDEFD5C211E4BBAB6499AC4F5A46FC8EBD8060F7C67| |FE00AD3F993BE016E59AF5E486D9FC0C3DBAD741D72AF339F884E6B6706F4B44E89| |ABF137E37F33B2BD877B0CABC0EF6D440376DEC422F4B9717B3F7EC618E4369A60B| |BAEF3CD6BEDFE0536A6CE333DA72F0C4FF1231FF0BAAEF9145E00DFA041A748981A| |BD8E5A1AE0E74951D77B063E01EF33E187EC0BC0BBE27579CDCCDB985271466B723| |EFB08E6C3037C1C43FE4AED2A46EE44A6E766988F981EA7AD801CF04F60F4D32D3E| |0E129E65930F10AE730D139BCECBED78F7A83A4F5A29EE88D435BA3FE7D3C7BDF29| |AE358B1A237FB01EB9CCEBBFC889BE86931FA9413FCFD7CF4F286A65DAC0230EA69| |DE904CD344B10B952B0391479123B8EBAEB345388670FB1179FA8D720FB34C84F30| |F616F37DA6D830CF311C408D58103C3AC00C31C360228CBA32CD31CA9E8CF219D66| |94B9CB5386B6BA425D15F4E5E44DF63979833CC1C989A0577ED428CF1CC63EC778A| |1990DBDE4CFD1F18332863062565504E18949306256350B22DA5312DEF7F0F84A44| |7BB5CF4967374C74A51A93DBAD7524C52046EDACF49FAF7283507B7760D59BFDAB3| |D87B3BB3FB36FC6A6E6C643CF41B1B1BFF01AB28FB03| |-------------------------------------------------------------------| -
That's crazy impressive! great job!

Hasten, Assault, and Incarnates are available to every character, across any AT. WS is only available to Scrappers/Stalkers but not Brutes/Tanks (Among SM users). Quickness is part of SR which I chose to test SM. It only provides recharge, no damage bonus. You're welcome to test any way you like when your wrist gets better. You can take or leave the info I provided. I hope you leave it if it will end the rude and confrontational responses. Haha!
-
My response didn't really have anything to do with Water Spout, it's about -dam res proc. Sir Myshkin had an average time of 2:45 with WS integrated. The 1:57 time was with WS + Achilles'. He shaved off about 48 seconds off his pylon time with a single IO replacement. I was testing SM, and SM only. Any Scrapper, regardless of primary/secondary, can take WS. I wouldn't consider SM to be a great powerset if it relies on non-SM powers to get it there.
-
Adding Achilles' and/or Fury -dam res procs is usually a dps gain. Sir Myshkin's KM tests showed a massive improvement when he remembered to slot Achilles' into Water Spout. He was getting an average time of 2:45 until slotting Achilles', he got a time of 1:57.
-
Did some testing last week. 5/6 of the most recent posted videos are SM testing. It was underwhelming no matter what I did. Hem at 4 stacks, Hem at 5 stacks, and no Hem at all. https://www.youtube.com/user/longlivekenny2011/videos

Keep Sweeping Cross, it's part of StJ's best attack chain.

What the heck! You pretty much just stole my build.

It's not tough to get 100% resistance to hold, immob, fear, confuse etc. T4 Hybrid Control passive provides +40% mez resistances. Aegis unique provides +20%. A lot of the new i25 IO's provide +5-10% resistance with 2-4 slots. A lot of the old IO's were updated to provide some as well. Here's my Mercs/Storm build with minimal changes to get 100% resist to all mez. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1589;741;1482;HEX;| |78DA6593C94F137114C77FD34E81B6202DA52CD29D7D1B5B113D92804B0CAD8265D| |30B6960802674B18BC2D17FC0831E381AE3927800959357132F1EBC7BC03DD17870| |49D483A7FAFAFB3E9C493A69F3F9FDBEEFFDDEFBCE9B99C4D6E9C6BD73372684E29| |ADA4C158BCB8954B1A41732E9EC6A43A25C4A95D2B9AC55D0554F7FBF115C4E9633| |995C564BE885153D9B2AA4F562D0149D2CAFAD69C952AE90E1C47476DD7D3EBBA11| |7F46C493B5C386672B94D2D99D7F5D566B98CEBA955BD50DC48E79D727F7633BDBE| |516A3C8CE5A98AEF4C3EBDA2995A25522B3ABBDEEE209351FADFB109BE2A36F1CA2| |2444C15960A5DC2B2A0CA9DFAC10A2E615F3785ACBC6A3A79809CBA3760C35BE63B| |D0F19E292B5FA5930A4EAA8A0F91463F33001E0932436081CE58B99B7557915ADB1| |ED8F198F9043CFA94B90FDEA57BC46D56842D2CA416A1A7542F4D5494FAE1AA6617| |3E66917AD911B3D95D0A625E30D04EF4AB22701CBE02E3E811FA8BFD3D6AE4649FC| |E394C2CF402B1D0739A9C4715619E73584E237C19596E72D484AED626EEDACD5DBB| |A751A1FB1758A223CDDCA599ABF68C59646ECF27E4F47C06FB4E42EFFB82FD7D72E| |8E669B8791A2DD4DB83DEC2C39A93342FE7790FE0D8435A3BE7B58F1354AB7840F5| |3AD94BA71F13EC9BC73DF56FC35BFF22EF3F5AE4F406BF525EBF2AAE91DCC56F42D| |7347A0CC6990970E802F32268270F7EF6E5F762FA0FC94390B520FBBF4EB523EC2B| |22273D3481498CFC46A5913FC81C99843EFA1213DAA293BD7CB2F7119C8FEE32477| |1F698C68C3263E0332A31C0EFD5800BEE62ECB2959C0FB3CB61D6CA54568366D14E| |61A2B1434AD7377BF1A5564F454370EC33BE3DFAC97BAB51A2354AAC4619AB514ED| |428F11A2561289519E35B168A8CDA5DFFBFD4CA3707451573F487A1D89459CCC075| |8999045BE698F33CB705F07B4DB59F8662516EE109B4DE06DB76C0B887809CCAACA| |3FA5CB05E34AD974CEB2BA67567AB71F675B50EDF578BD7D0774CBABCF62346F01F| |8A1D238B| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

I want an MM wrestler. When pets are summoned, they run in holding tables, ladders, chairs, barbed wire and a bag of tacks.
