Been looking at the SNBR numbers in some of my old vids. Subtracting the proc bonus and Interface damage numbers, the Medic does about 15-19 dps. Soulbound probably upticks that a fair bit as well. The numbers seem to add up. I sort of guessed Mercs would benefit the most from the proc change, even predicted they would jump from 6th place in MM pet dps to 3rd because of it. Though the Medic dishing out 38ish dps is just bonkers.
-
I'm not sure how accurate SNBR is after looking at the individual pet dps numbers. My Merc Medic, on average, does more damage than all your pets, with exception of the Bruiser. That can't be right. The few Merc/Storm vids I posted in the past, the Medic has gotten between 37-40 dps alone. Unless Lady Grey and Shield Breaker procs are helping that much. https://ibb.co/6chfb7L Also I have Soulbound equipped to Soldiers/Medic. Maybe that's the reason.

How much damage bonus does Offensive Adaptation provide Bio?
-
If you have enough recharge to run your attack chain and/or make Hasten perma without Panacea's +7.5% rech, I would go with Unbreakable Guard. If not, I would equip the Panacea set.
-
The upgrades will remain as long as the pets do not die. I would reapply the upgrades after zoning. Someone mentioned that they noticed 1 or 2 upgrades disappear after exiting/entering a mission.
-
IS SNBR still working for you? Mine stopped working after the last Homecoming update.
-
I wanted to test that but SNBR seems to have stopped working for me after one of the updates. I might try to look into it again if/when a fix is made.

I would say Soulbound is better. Did a 2 minute test with Gaussian equipped in Enforcers, with Gang War cast. Enforcer 1 got 8 BU procs; Enforcer 2 got 12 BU procs. Enforcer 2 had double BU, 3 times in that time frame. Did the same with Soulbound, 2 minute test vs a pylon. Enforcer 1 got 15 BU procs; Enforcer 2 got 16 BU procs. They may have gotten a bit more but was KB a couple times. The good thing about Gaussian is double procs occur at the same time, so all attacks that fall within the BU duration will have stacked BU damage. While Soulbound may proc for one attack, then an attack following may stack another BU, but it will never have a double BU for a full 5.5 second duration. The good thing about Soulbound is it will proc when we want it to, while the pets are attacking. Not while running from target to target, not while being KB/mezzed. Soulbound is also more versatile and can be slotted into any pet, while Gaussian is only viable on Enforcers (SmalltalkJava gave great detail about T1 Beasts and Gaus sounds like it will be horrible on them). Soulbound also doesn't rely on Gang War to significantly boost it's proc chance. The average Thug build probably has Gang War at a 50% uptime/downtime.

Did you include the Enforcer's Tactics?

Smite, Siphon Life, Soul Drain and Midnight Grasp for DM; everything, except for Elude, for SR. Try to get enough recharge to make Soul Drain perma. Also enough rech to run MG-Sm-SL-Sm-repeat attack chain.

-I recommend only taking either Initial Strike or Heavy Blow, not both. It will save 5 slots to put elsewhere. -Boundless Energy is an auto power? Take Panacea Heal/Rech instead of End/Rech. It will provide more +hp and regen. -A single End Mod IO would provide more recovery than a Performance Shifter proc in Boundless Energy. (End Mod IO provides 0.23 e/s; PF proc provides an average of 0.20 e/s). -Splitting the Superior Stalker Guile set into two will provide +10% S/L def instead of +5%. -I recommend adding the Achilles' Heel proc into Shin Breaker. -I recommend adding the Fury of the Gladiator proc into Sweeping Cross. -I like Reactive Defense Scaling Damage Resist. It starts off at +3% resist to all damage types and jumps up to around +13% when down to about 15% hp. -I recommend Stealth over Combat Jump if constantly using Ninja/Beast Run as a travel power. They can be toggled on at the same time. -I would drop Moonbeam for Waterspout unless MB can be kept as an insta-snipe. -I recommend picking your incarnate powers, especially Alpha and Destiny. They can greatly affect mitigation and powers, and how you may slot them. I really know nothing about Bio and what Defensive, Efficient and Offensive Adaptation do or how they affect stats. I would just pick one adaptation and build around that.

ATO1 is in Assassin Strike; ATO2 is in Spinning Strike. I think I have about 180% recharge or just enough to make Hasten perma. I dont have my build in front of me. Sorry, I don't share my builds anymore. I doubt the StJ portion would work with Bio unless a lot of defense is given up.

[BU]-AS-CU-SB-[BU]-AS-SC-SB-repeat. SB builds 1 combo, AS builds 2 combos, so CU and SC have the max, 3 combo points. AS usually has 2 AF. But I use [BU]-AS-CU-SB-[BU]-AS-SC-SB-IS-repeat. It requires less recharge and has a chance to build an extra AF point for a portion of the chain. Some people have recommended swapping IS for HB but haven't gone through a respec to do it yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r-pSnnFemg
-
Street Justice finishers, Crushing Uppercut, Spinning Strike and Sweeping Cross build AF, and Assassin Strike builds 2 combo points in return. The problem I find with Savage Melee is Blood Frenzy going into cooldown. Especially if the attack chain is short, and 2 cycles of the chain builds little to no BF. It's disappointing that SM's highest dps attack chain ignores the BF mechanic. AS-SS-MS-SS-repeat.

If I remember right, Stealth + Celerity unique was enough invisibility so that no enemies could detect you in pve. Except for a few that auto-detects, like Rikti Drones and Lam/BAF turrets.
-
Reactive Defense's damage resistance starts at +3% at full hp, and increases as hp drops. Here are pics of my Stalker's Combat Attributes with full hp, and at around 15% hp. It increased from +3% to +12.9% (To all damage types).
-
Different power gives varying degrees of stealth. The more you have, the harder it is to detect you. That's why a lot of Stalkers in pvp will run Hide + Stealth + Celerity Stealth IO. They stack making them more difficult to see. Stealth is countered by Perception. Powers like Tactics, Targeting Drone, Focused Accuracy, Rectified Reticle IO etc provides this. The more perception a player/enemy has, the better chance they will see the stealthed foe. https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Stealth_and_Perception AFAIK, Only attacks from a Stalker's primary and secondary can crit. Melee and ranged attacks. I think AoE crit chance is less but someone else can probably confirm/give more precise info.

Looks like a super strong build though Support Core Hybrid is toggled on and has a 50% up/downtime so your defense won't always be that high. With Support Core active, can softcap M/R/A by slotting Cloud Sense and Siphon Insight sets into Dark Servant, Darkest Knight and/or Fearsome Stare. Also maybe switching to Gaussian's in Tactics. Without Support Core, try to get to around +33% M/R/A so a small purple inspira will softcap you. Maybe build for less S/L damage resistance? T2 Demon will provide buffs, around +10% S/L resist, unenhanced. Shield Wall and Reactive Defense uniques will help buff up all resist types on your build. It's probably for thematic reasons but Mu Mastery would serve better than Soul. There's more energy damage in incarnate content than negative energy. I usually min/max my MM's so any other advice would be to build for more recharge and damage. I would go for Hasten to get Tar Patch up as often as possible. Frankenslot pets to try to maximize their damage. Maybe even Burnout to double cast Hell on Earth. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1600;726;1452;HEX;| |78DA6D93594F135114C7EF9D9952BA49A12B608162A12CA5B480BE9A086AA234C1B| |04A62C8045A9848815048F4D1AFA089C4B82BA0BEF809E4C9B87D075FDC97C42511| |1F7CC2D3F91F9879E824EDEFDE73CF7ECFCD5D1AF23E3D7DE5B890FEC145BD549AC| |9E9A5B5FC6AD1589A73E4F479635615F439E917B74E6646D78BC5E5A5F4509EFE79| |632CCD37DA344EAC170AE9217DF5E24CCED04B455D7846969717D3A7168DF985B51| |A733D9CD7E7F2ABA50563C587B3F211B9F1EE9FAED0A6E1E48A319BB639CEAD738A| |97A39454867E37FC82BF3D878811B29A50DE2B42C488139AB9D7DEA9E0A062B2EA3| |CE4E3DA81AD2602D0A90A82D56166047447C1B24BC9F1E47D69C6713F00BD0F995B| |E0A16DE6263849B62A6C55F503720C7E647E05C39FC19B549703BAC211475D2EBA0| |9A784CC1992A66C8A7CBA58CFD50DBDDB64EBE11C3DDC93F0386A8EEEA28EE83FB0| |610AF2866FA497D4848762F8D89FEF2DFA556E570DE26A351CF77090E9079BCEC25| |FD31FF00EE550CBBDAD7DC1672FC19657CCD760F60D584BB10388A304384E0BC789| |739C00E984A0E3086D22BFF816731B3CF288F998F90494641BE1DA2205F4E52EE55| |9CFBDAA1F432F1266CF9C22C1F7979884BC7D177EDAFFC256257F8D9C6F632FD590| |A2B32C6A49F6F1CC914E0C3A32C63525B9967B14BB99F369E63B7E4666ADACDF1A4| |6FC6404BC4069B471AE6D3C3F9D3C3F9D9FC02E9E9FAE2F4C9EAB1DF2DB015BA563| |1475A4C698E3E034F9EFE6DE763B917FAA1AEC7131DD4C0FD8EB056F512D69BEEFF| |431F8EBED63F683D901E651304CBDC9F03C67F6E7CA7A9342F01D75D965DCA74C05| |59B682ACBF826CA0826CB8822C579621BFBD11EBDD0BD9C2EFD17FF09EF77EB8E99| |C6B913D38FF65C91479469AEFCB3F813A3BE3E8DB4FBB5D07EC7E5B32555E45AFFC| |D71573BEEAAE615FB7018668A0B39C632A68AD7702D6FA7BC25A3F6FB5D61B651DC| |EFF9CBB3C71589BDF944D30695B4FDBD6FF011E70E644| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

Build question: EM Scrapper and Critical Strikes ATO Proc
StrikerFox replied to sindyr's topic in Scrapper
I would go with Chain Induction. CI should have a chance to proc the Critical Strikes ATO with every target the electric charge jumps to. -
StJ is fantastic but in pvp, I would go with a primary that does damage other than smashing and lethal. They're heavily resisted damage types.
-
No really good way to save pets during the pylon phase. Babysit them, set yourself to follow a pet, and direct pets where to run to avoid enemies. It would be super slow and would always be several pylons behind. Take TP Team/Group Fly but would bother other players. Best option might taking Invisibility and stealthing your pets through while on passive, but Drones would detect them. Or if you can figure out pet max distance before auto-porting to you, have them stay, you make your way to the pylon, and pets will appear out of nowhere.
-
What's your primary? MM ranged pets are amazing in the MSR. Just hangout in the center, set pets to aggressive and *continuously* press stay. They'll shoot anything that comes into range and get all the heals/buffs to keep them alive. When they get pushed around, set to passive-follow for a moment to get back into position, and then switch them to aggressive-stay again. I've been the odd, 49th player, outside of a league, and still manage to rack up 1200 v-merits solo (Using Mercs).

Beast/Trick Arrow build that I'm working on.
StrikerFox replied to SmalltalkJava's topic in Mastermind
Someone mentioned defense IO's were not enhancing anything in Lions (Actually, I could have sworn that was you). Slot a fourth SCotMM IO to get a +10% recharge bonus instead of +7.5%. I think the Impeded Swiftness proc would trigger more often in the Dire Wolf than Lady Grey. Though smashing is more resisted throughout the game. Player named Steeves mentioned the Dire Wolf is bugged. Slotting 3 even level damage SO's should bring his damage bonus to around +96% but is only bumping him up to +63%. I tried it myself and he's right, though it might be a visual bug. I recommend making the best build you can without procs. Then work backwards and decide what you're willing to sacrifice to add them in. -
Don't slot Celerity + Stealth on Summon Wolves
StrikerFox replied to SmalltalkJava's topic in Mastermind
I don't think any procs like that work on pets. I tried the kb protection before but pets still got kb'd frequently. Also Preventative Medicine to see if the pets can get a shield. Launching them off buildings to try to trigger it. It didn't activate once.
