I disagree. Everyone seems to think that there would be unmeasurable outrage if there was a statement, “Hey guys, I know we said would have an announcement some time in August, but it’s taking longer than expected. The new target date is October. Thank you for your patience and understanding.” I see people saying, “Dang, that stinks. Thanks for the update.” Maybe I have too much faith in people.

I lead teams most of the time, but if I was on a team that complained about my kb, I wouldn’t stay on that team much longer.
