I love the costume creator and ill spend about 10-20 minutes (rarely longer) on a character's costume if I think I'm starting to like the character. Most new characters are given a generic costume until I get a feel for the character. My complaint is that there are some pieces that are mutually exclusive that I have wanted to use together.

Just thinking about this... The title of this thread should have been, "Characters for backstory for characters"

I think it would probably be used about as much as the current options on TFs/Ouro Arcs with the current structure (i.e. - badges on ouro arcs, nothing on TF). Outside an additional reward, I don't see it being used that often other than a challenge TF. As far as an additional reward... What I would like to see, and I didn't include this in the OP, would be a challenge setting would give a percentage of bonus merits. (These are just numbers thrown out there) No temporary powers - 5% more merits, Primary/secondary only - 15% more merits, etc. It wouldn't necessarily have to be merits. Throw in any of the other currencies or a temp power or badge or whatever.

My favorite, used on several characters: "This is only used in cut-scenes."

Also I want the option to disable set bonuses. I see a proc as not a set bonus. That’s how I would draw the line if I was making the decision. I don’t WANT one over the other. I’m fine one way or the other.

The lotg +rech is a set bonus. Panacea is a proc

I would think if it provides enhancement value like the lotg def/7.5 recharge, that would go. I think procs like the panacea would stay because there is no other enhancement value.

I know we have the no enhancement option, I am suggesting that we have the ability to disable set bonuses only, rather than trying to get an entire team to agree to making a SO build before a TF. New badges could be added as well.

I tend to write shorter bios and have only run into the limit when I was trying to tie multiple characters stories together. That being said, I’d love it if the I’d screen didn’t go all wonky when typing the bio. If they could fix that and add some space, I’d call that a win.

I’m all for no fx opinions on all powers. One of my favorite costume is on a stalker so I never end up seeing it.

did you use it with a bind/macro for translocation?

They changed that recently then, because I made a combat teleport macro before the announcement of combat teleport (its in my signature if anyone is curious)

You weren’t hovering in Perez until lv 7, as there were level restrictions in hazard zones. 😁

The teleport to location use to need line of sight for the bind/macro. I'm not sure if that is the case anymore as I haven't tested it recently (since addition of combat teleport).

I would change the name of the hostages from any vahz or BP mission to first names of characters of zombie games (frank, jill, leon, etc). The word cowabunga would be somewhere in the sewer or abandoned sewer network. Hellion AV Tinder would say swipe left/right. (thats low hanging fruit, i know) There would be a cutscene that made fun of players using their battle cry in cut scenes. I'm sure i can think of more, but i gotta get back to work.
