  1. I feel like this thread has been going for an Aeon.
  2. You need to talk to Null the Gull. They are a small seagull sitting on top of a truck in the villain side of Pocket D.
  3. They are literally called P2W Vendors. There's one in Atlas Park and each of the other starting zones. There are a few more in other zones (including FBZ) but I don't have a full list.
  4. There is one in Firebase Zulu (of all places). I'm not sure if there are others in other zones.
  5. The short answer is no, if you have multiple power execute commands in a single bind or macro then only the last one will activate. Basically the slash commands to activate powers simply queues them up so if you have multiple powers in a macro then it repeatedly queues them up until you reach the end of the macro at which point the last power will remain queued until it either activates or you queue up a different power. The only exception to this is with toggles. you can create a bind or macro using the powexec_toggleon and while it will only toggle on one power per press it will always queue up the last inactivated toggle allowing you to have one command for starting multiple toggles.
  6. Bzzzzzzzzzzzz. Lack of pun foul on Healix. You are Banished from the thread unless you Talos an apology.
  7. No, PM just gives a damage buff. The Defense and Regen numbers I listed are for Fortify Pack.
  8. Whatever that means in English. Basically it means they get 5% defense plus an additional 1% defense for each stack of Pack Mentality you have. Similarly the regeneration buff appears to be 100% base plus 20% for each stack of Pack Mentality. It looks like behind the scenes Pack Mentality is actually treated as a meter rather than a stacked buff. Each instance of the buff gives you 10% meter charge. So with (for example) 5 stacks the defense would be 0.5 * 0.1 + 0.05 = 0.1 or 10% defense. Regarding the other part of OPs question Pines says that the damage bonus from PM is 2% per stack but I haven't checked that in game.
  9. I'm pretty sure you've got a Sentinel, not a Corruptor. Sentinel's get Blast/Armor so a Dual Pistols/regen would be a Sentinel. Sentinel's are in Pines so you should be able to do a Dual Pistols/Regen build there.
  10. No. The XP rates will be set back to normal (so no boost). You will be able to increase your XP rates by either 25%, 50% or 100% but doing so will decrease your Inf earning rate by the same amount.
  11. Honestly Trip Mine and Time Bomb aren't particularly useful. They can be fun to play with but in terms of DPS you're better off just using your primary. IMHO the big draw of Devices is Targeting Drone which (among other things) lets you get fast-snipe up much more easily than other Blasters. Overall unless you want fast-snipe Tactical Arrow is probably the better option. Glue Arrow is better than Caltrops, and ESD Arrow is just a really nice power plus the defensive toggles in Tactical Arrow are just nice. That being said Devices can be fun from a concept point of view, my first character back on the old servers was an AR/Devices Blaster and it remains one of my favorite combos to this day (especially since they added the fast snipe to make up for AR's weak single target damage) but I don't take either Trip Mine or Time Bomb.
  12. Agreed. If a low value recipe has bids on it I'll sometimes put it up at 1inf just to help another player but in most cases I end up taking a loss versus vendoring it.
  13. Unfortunately Bots/Traps is rather squishy at that level so to some extent you'll have to just power through. The good news is that that is pretty much the low point and things will start getting better soon. In particular you'll get a big boost at level 22 (from defense SOs) and at level 24 (with your second protector bot). There are a few things you can do in the long term to help as well. First make sure to slot both your Force Field Generator and Protector Bots for defense. Secondly, consider taking Provoke (and ideally at least one personal attack), Bots/Traps does well if you have enemies target the Mastermind so that damage is spread evenly among your pets using bodyguard mode. Third, the defense aura IOs (Edict of the Master and Call to Arms) are well worth taking since if you have both that's another 10% defense to stack with your FFG and Protector Bots (the resistance auras are nice to have but not as critical). Fourth Leadership is always a good chocie for Masterminds anyway (especially Tactics) and having Maneuvers will let you stack more defense.
  14. Sounds like a good time to teach your son why it's important to not judge people based on their appearances.
  15. That sounds like you've got the macro entered incorrectly and it's trying to execute "Black Dwarf" as the command. Remember when you create a macro with the slash command the format is /macro name "contents". The list I gave would be how you'd enter it using the macro UI. So to do it as a single chat command you need to do it like this: /macro Dwarf "powexec_toggleon "Black Dwarf"&&goto_tray 4" Unfortuantely I don't have a Warshade so I can't test it myself but it should work.
  16. You've just got Tsoo get in the Ancestral Spirit of it. Ok that one was a stretch but I'm Positron it was worth it.
  17. You can do that with macros and binds. For the first bit you need a macro or bind that looks something like this: powexec_toggleon "Bright Nova"&&goto_tray 4 This will toggle on Bright Nova and change your primary power tray to tray 4 (obviously change the number as you wish). If you want to change the secondary or tertiary trays then you use goto_tray_alt and goto_tray_alt2. Going back to human form is a little trickier. First you need a macro to toggle off your forms and swap you back to your human tray. That looks like this: powexec_toggleoff "Bright Nova"&&powexec_toggleoff "White Dwarf"&&goto_tray 1 Toggling your shields back on is trickier. You can't do it with a single button press. Instead what you do is create a bind or macro that contains toggle on commands for all of your toggles and press it repeatedly until they are all toggled on. Due to the way the game works this will in general toggle them on last to first although depending on timing that isn't guaranteed. That would look something like this: powexec_toggleon "Shining Shield"&&powexec_toggleon "Thermal Shield"&&powexec_toggleon "Quantum Shield"&&powexec_toggleon "Hover" A word of warning, I haven't actually used these in a long time. I'm recreating them so they may not work off the bat, you may need to experiment with them to get them to work properly.
  18. The thing is back when CoH was live it didn't have that much inflation, in large part due to the auction fee. Since Wentworth's charges a 10% transaction fee that means that every inf earned through combat can only generate about 10 inf worth of market transactions. So to a large degree the market was self regulating and tended to converge at a relatively stable level where the amount of inf entering and exiting the economy was close to balanced. Now there were periods of hyper inflation but those were mostly caused when a game change significantly impacted the supply or demand of something. For example the major AE Farming craze caused a significant jump in Inf earnings while simultaneously crashing the supply of purples which caused prices in general to increase and prices of purples to increase even more. But outside of events like that the overall market didn't seem to be very inflationary. So overall the size of the economy was based on the earning rates of high level characters but it was relatively stable outside of that rate shifting.
  19. Actually the salvage seeding is anti-inflationary. The thing is when someone buys seeded salvage the Inf used for that purchase is removed from the economy thereby reducing the overall quantity of Inf available. Now as you noted there are two downsides to this. The first is that it makes selling salvage less profitable for low level players. The second is that by making salvage fixed cost there is more inf available for recipes. It remains to be seen how much impact this will have.
  20. Some people did experiment with it back in the day (notably Arcanaville) and I recall seeing a few pictures of successful 3D prints. However from what I recall the issue was that while it was possible to create 3D prints of characters the in-game models aren't really optimized for it (obviously) and it required a lot of manual work to clean up the model and make it 3D printable.
  21. The level that powers unlock at is the same for all powersets, with the only difference being if it's a Primary or a Secondary. So those powers will unlock at 28, 35 and 38.
  22. I just got the Kismet piece for my Blaster, and put it in Hover. It looked like it was only active while I was Hovering. As soon as I shut off the toggle, the bonus ToHit stopped. You're correct. It originally functioned the way I described it for toggle power but at one point it was changed it to function the way you observed and I had forgotten. If I recall correctly the change was largely done to allow the stealth procs to instantly shut off when Sprint (or other powers but mostly sprint) were toggled off.
  23. Does the drag and drop not work anymore? I remember that you used to be able to just drag and drop to reorder them but I'll admit I haven't tested it on Homecoming.
  24. To expand a bit on Brian's answer the groups will now spawn immediately if you defeat the previous spawn. They also slightly increased the difficulty of the spawns (which is why you see +1s and +2s in some waves). Personally I'm all for it, the TV trial was incredibly boring, you sat around for half an hour occasionally killing something. I ran it last night and it took us 33minutes including doing the preliminary missions.
  25. Well ideally what we'd want to do is clone Paragon Wiki (with the serial numbers filed off) and start updating from there. I've got no clue if the Paragon Wiki staff would be willing or able to hand over a copy of their database to start a second wiki though. Personally I think the best analogy is forking a code base. Paragon Wiki is the "base" wiki but each set of private servers is going to have a different set of content and thus a different wiki.
