  1. Heraclea, if you know an SG's basecode, you can type it in to the appropriate box after clicking on the base entry portal. People can explore but they CAN NOT change/remove anything there. They can do this any time solo, without knowing anyone in the sg. It is really fun to see the creativity of base builders, and some bases are beyond amazing. I encourage folks to show off their hard work for others to admire!
  2. There will not be donor rewards, from what I read. But being able to buy them from the P2W vendor or do certain missions to unlock them is a great idea, Jag!
  3. I think that those will happen for just the holiday event.
  4. Well, there is a lizard-looking head already available that could double as a dino
  5. Just have FUN doing it and don't make it feel like work!
  6. Bio, you very eloquently stated a lot of what I feel. For me, the road to 50 is as much fun as the final ding. I played from April of 2004 until sunset and STILL have never done it all in the game. There is so much rich and fun content that you miss by speeding through just to have a 50. There are the story arcs that are almost like being in a movie, the tons of 'things' in every new zone and even the npc talk, which can be hilarious. I prefer to immerse myself and feel a part of the big picture, but not everyone feels that way. They just want to get to 50 quickly. I have found that those of us who have taken it slowly have also discovered that this is a wonderful gaming community and thus is more than 'just a game'. I really like that a lot for me. Everyone should be able to play the way that is fun for them, so to me, there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way.
  7. You can still do the cape mission (the rep in City Hall is the contact, still) and you can also runt the Icon missions.
  8. I think if you select a mission from the radio, then abandon it and then click it again, it gives new selections. You can do this on some contacts, also.
  9. From what I have read and understand, the server was kept secret so what we have now could happen. The people working on the code had to do it without fear of repercussions from NCSoft lawsuits until they could make a version that everyone could have...and they did, although it was revealed earlier than it should have been. I would LOVE to see some of the original devs here, but perhaps there is also a legal reason they can't.
  10. We are so Fortunata to Have you as an Elite Boss here, PK! Mu are awesome!
  11. I hope this thread never gets Vahzilocked...you guys have Infested me with Crazed laughter!
  12. I would LOVE to be able to take a tour and admire/appreciate the bases that people create here. For those willing to share their creations, please post the codes here, and thanks in advance! 1. Code--XXXX 2. Name and brief description of the base, and the concept behind it Update: Cap'n Capitalism has given us THIS! Thanks so much, Cap'n! Base Passcode Spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1t3z63gpzeTzY9Sb0mlp9snTTECH4JYpfBiSnAHqASKM/edit?usp=sharing
  13. It must be mid-blowing and time consuming. THANK you for all you do!!!!
  14. Back on live, people who loved base building begged for what is available here. I think it's awesome to have that much creative content...not to mention how much easier to do things in bases than it was on live. I am hoping people will post their base codes so folks can take tours!
  15. The original character/base data is the property of NCSoft and won't be possible for us to have. To me, it's a small price to pay to be here and have our City back!
  16. I hope this will happen in the future, but not available now, I believe.
  17. I think leveling pacts are disabled right now because they are borked, PK. It's nice because if one of the pack buddies is offline and the other is playing, they both stay the same level.
  18. Why do we want to split up our wonderful community into factions? For gosh sakes, WE GOT OUR CITY BACK, and everyone should be able to play the way that they most enjoy. Your game style is your own...there is no wrong or correct way to play. Back on live, someone posted a quote that I saved, and it still rings true: " You must remember that this game is nothing more than an electronic version of an elementary school playground; it is full of good kids, bad kids, bullies, cheaters, and whiners."
  19. Newly created characters can get a lot of levels quickly by teaming and running the DFB mission. Perhaps that's one of the things he saw. Whether you like the slow progression to 50 or the PL speedway, you should be able to play the way that's most fun for you.
  20. works fine for me. I keep it in the special window I created and use it often.
