  1. Name of SG: Wings Memorial Annex SG Passcode: WINGS-2503 Base Description: My base is small and efficient. I wanted everything to be easily accessible with everything members would need.
  2. I remember on live when I was tickled by the character name "Hero Man". I sent him a tell, saying how much I loved the name. He replied, and said his 6-year old son named his toon for him, and sat on his lap while he played.
  3. They are still somewhere. I saved a few, and one of my favorites is the Beacon Labels
  4. If I remember correctly, there is a large hole in the ground outside of the dam (in a barren, rocky field) that also leads to the tunnel.
  5. perrond, my understanding is that although CoH was still making a fair amount of profit, NCSoft had new games (Blade and Soul, among them) that they wanted to put all of their resources into. It was geared toward their fan base in Korea. This is their priority, not US-based gaming communities. So here we are after all this time, with our home back thanks to 6 years of hard work in secret by Leo and helpers. Where is the big failure, Blade and Soul? It's where it should have been from the start...non-existent. I think that 15 years of non-swerving devotion from the CoH community should be a great lesson in loyalty to everyone.
  6. This is Officer Kyurin, PPD cop
  7. *I love Corn Bread!!!!* her various 'transformations'
  8. I keep Global, Paragon Chat, Broadcast and Excelsior in the upper window of chattage. (I also added a tab that is labeled 'Silence' that is totally empty for times I want NO distractions.) The lower window contains Private messages, Team/League and Supergroup. This has helped me a lot.
  9. Perhaps a special 'muzzles' section could be implemented beaks of varying looks, a pig snout, etc. They would cover the human mouth/nose. Also, hanging/floppy ears of different lengths, and a few more tails.
  10. well, the advantage is that you can use them to make ONLY rare salvage if you want, then you can sell them in the AH for big bucks.
  11. OOOO I really like the looks of that, Eva!
  12. Sorth, I really like Imad's look!!
  13. Sometimes, you can get swamped with tells and may not catch them all...we always referred to it as 'yellow fever'.
  14. Nope..I take good care of my stuff. That's why it lasts so long :)
  15. I think there is also an 'NPC talk/chat' that you can add to the tab, like the 'show cutscenes' one.
  16. I have underwear older than all of you...my YOUNGEST son is 52
  17. I had the exact same issue. I had to go back into the 'permissions' and click on all of them so everyone could place/take.
  18. NPC talk can be epic... NPC] Faultline: So I said, 'Ninjas and lawyers? Then it's a Tsoo Sue Studio!' [NPC] Faultline: Get it? Sue like litigation versus Tsoo the gang? No? Oh nevermind, no one appreciates an artiste.
  19. SAPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. ok, Kyksie...that is really douchy, but I still laughed way too hard :) *thinks you must be great at Dad Jokes*
  21. joey, you could send out a message via broadcast saying 'the first person who finds me (whatever character you are playing) and says "I found you and you look AWESOME!" (or whatever you'd like to hear) will get XXX influence/purple enhancement etc'. :) Be sure and place yourself on top of a statue or in an accessible building.
  22. CoH was my very first ever MMO game, and I fell in love with it. I attempted to play Aion, WoW and CO after Sunset but got no pleasure. Aion seemed a dull knockoff, WoW was to much work and stupid stuff and CO was just bad to me. I didn't play long on any of those. After that, I realized that nothing would ever take the place of CoH for me. The longing for my favorite game never diminished. Little did I know that a young man and his helpers were working secretly for 6 years, without pay, to bring the game back. (In secret so there would be no legal actions while they toiled over the work entailed to reverse-engineer the code.) Why? Because he LOVES the game as much as we do. And now, here we are, able to do what we all thought we'd never do again...we are back HOME! I am loving every minute of it, and my gratitude to Leo and crew knows no bounds.
  23. I heard from Leo that the code for CoH is a combination of spaghetti, prayers, superglue, a box of spare parts and duct tape. I am totally amazed at what has been done.
  24. I LOVE the random remarks from the NPCs, like "Did you hear that Healix brought down the Council recruiters?" or "We need more heroes like Healix!"
