joey, you could send out a message via broadcast saying 'the first person who finds me (whatever character you are playing) and says "I found you and you look AWESOME!" (or whatever you'd like to hear) will get XXX influence/purple enhancement etc'. :) Be sure and place yourself on top of a statue or in an accessible building.

CoH was my very first ever MMO game, and I fell in love with it. I attempted to play Aion, WoW and CO after Sunset but got no pleasure. Aion seemed a dull knockoff, WoW was to much work and stupid stuff and CO was just bad to me. I didn't play long on any of those. After that, I realized that nothing would ever take the place of CoH for me. The longing for my favorite game never diminished. Little did I know that a young man and his helpers were working secretly for 6 years, without pay, to bring the game back. (In secret so there would be no legal actions while they toiled over the work entailed to reverse-engineer the code.) Why? Because he LOVES the game as much as we do. And now, here we are, able to do what we all thought we'd never do again...we are back HOME! I am loving every minute of it, and my gratitude to Leo and crew knows no bounds.

I heard from Leo that the code for CoH is a combination of spaghetti, prayers, superglue, a box of spare parts and duct tape. I am totally amazed at what has been done.

I LOVE the random remarks from the NPCs, like "Did you hear that Healix brought down the Council recruiters?" or "We need more heroes like Healix!"

I got ClassicShell because I missed the old start menu. Not only is is awesome, it's FREE.

Second day in of playing (NEVER played an MMO before in my life) and was thrilled to get invited to a team by a higher character. He promptly tp'd me to the highest building in Atlas, and kicked me. I spent about 10 minutes pacing back and forth wondering what to do. If I jumped, would I die and have to create my toon all over again? (I was new, folks.) I figured I couldn't play from there anyway, so I jumped. There was ONE teeny tiny bit of life left, so I went my way. I promised myself I would NEVER do anything rotten like that to another player.

I had WinXP for 12 years....got a new gaming puter loaded with Win8.1 and had to get used to it! Then, upgraded to Win10 and there was very little sticker shock like the first time. Very surprised that I like Win10 as much as I do.

What are these 'other games' you speak of? There are games other than THIS ONE?? *giggles and runs away*

eld, people that are running this server are doing it on their own dime without pay, and I they all have lives/jobs outside of the game. I am pretty sure that things will get worked on and improved as time goes by. I AGREE with you that there are things that need fixing, but perhaps it may take a little time. More talented people might become part of the dev team who are adept at graphics and spaghetti code and help make those changes! I truly don't think the GMs are making excuses, perhaps it will just take more time and help.
