This is an okay perspective to have. We have so many options, not every set or AT is going to work for everyone.

Week 5, well done! Are there any sets that you want proliferated? If so why? Yes please. Regen for tankers... reasons Do you feel that powerset proliferation impacts your AT's identity? Sometimes, because it pushes heavy handed revamps to existing sets and those don't always work out so well or significantly change a set. Just make new sets. (it's okay to adjust trooly broken sets, but even that can be subjective)

It could be combo to combo call, or even purpose/play-style. I did recently take an Elec/Dark Defender past 50 and it was just missing some oomph. Re-rolling as a Corruptor with the exact same build turned out quite nice.

did you try Fire Dark Soul? as far as Corruptors vs Blasters.. is it situational-ly tactical vs button-mashing? imma mezz u -vs- don't mez me bro? chess vs whack-a mole? -vs- a team of 3 curruptors or 3 blasters? both should do well, but one is better than the other.

Troo is agnostic in pursuit of their own goals. I miss they days of needing to be a redsider in order to play a Brute, Corruptor, Dominator, Mastermind, Stalker..

yes perma 100 def is a thing. not as useful as it sounds though widows are pretty amazing how they can be a jack of all or uber specialized. @Bill Z Bubba could probably come close to making a claws/super reflexes on one with more bells and whistles but no crits. The global toxic ATO proc is nice. tip: Hasten on auto tells the player about when to Veng up. Otherwise it's kill kill kill.

I like the idea. I like that a player is familiar with the archetype. I like it being just one power set. I like that many of the the IOs on a higher character might still be applicable. Take any absolute 'can't be done' or 'it'll be abused' comments with a grain of salt. N34RLy 3V3RyTHiNG iS PoSSiBL3, taking into account balance, health of the game, dev resources, and so forth. What do you think an appropriate cost should be? Earning it is good. I also like a level cost for this type of feature. (it encourages some additional play and the associated drops while creating an opportunity to) example: I leveled up a Ice/Time Corrupter and before 50 it just wasn't going to work out... and so it sits. This is not uncommon with Alt-i-tus. I like everything about it except Time. I've got badges & accolades that show it's been played. I would give up 10 levels and some more stuff to be able to swap Time out. Would it be abused if it was really the second or third easiest/best way to accomplish the same result? For more casual players this might be the best option but for a triple boxed min/max billions per hour power leveler.. maybe not so much. @All, would folks rather see swap-able primary or secondary powersets, OR insta-level 50s?

I get this thought and appreciate the idea. Is one effort or many best, that's obviously a debatable topic. As is what are different efforts strengths and weaknesses. ..we could probably all do better. It is disappointing to see a leader say "drop it" and "i'm the one with answers that matter most", but I also don't have the full context. @Shadeknight trying to take a shot at you by posting a screenshot.. not classy in my book, but on brand.

That would be a different power set then, wouldn't it? I'm not opposed to a new similar power set. Some of us like Regeneration and have identified specific minor adjustments which could smooth out potential cascading failures without being overpowered.. but that's a different topic.
