Fully agree with this on Psi Mastery, it is a great swiss knife for layered defense protection. The Res shield is fantastic for S/L/Psi which favors melee Doms as resistance is godly I feel for Doms. Early Mez protection while building first hit of Dom is great. The Mind Link for a nice bonus of +Def and +to-hit, which will usually sit around 25-30% def with IOs adding on the great Res you have, makes you quite tanky. Also Psi Tornado has great mitigation with KD effects which helps more for the soft-lock. Also slapping 7.5 LotGx2 into two low slot powers is amazing.

Yeah, I have played around a lot with different epics for the build, but I always fall back to /Psi epic. I feel with Ice it gives a little bit of everything to round out the build. With the buffs to Artic Air getting Domination bonus now, it is magical.
-
I will add Kat/Regen a great combo, for the great animation time, but also for Divine Avalanche with the huge boost in melee defense it gives the toon.
-
I mean yes it could be Lucifer, but Aragagi was my first idea. For the Poll, Plant is probably the best imo, then Psi, probably Psi for epic as well. I have my my dom combo I love the most probably is my ice/psi dom.

If I would guess the Monogatari series

From what people have said, Sentinel seems to have the best version of regeneration, because of the overload of health buffer you can get. I have not tested it out myself so I cannot talk too much about that. I have done regen on stalker and scrapper, and personally I enjoyed it and felt it was a fun set to play around with and have fun as I like the more reactive gameplay at times. The key thing is always to offset the initial Alpha strike, which can be looming for regen as you said low def/res values, it is possible with planning and using of course epic powers and incarnate system. Stalker had some fun utilizing stealth and their alpha strike to remove major problems, but the low HP cap it originally had made is glass canony at times. Is regen alone good enough to mitigate damage taken, if you have a massive HP pool it is possible, so brute does have the advantage there, but usually having a mix of layered defense will help it out, aside from the low level amount of endurance consumption the set offers too. If you take it in a vacuum, with no knowledge of primary, against a mix of enemies it will be a yes and no how it handles, some will wreck it with -regen or -recharge, while others will not be much of a fuss.
-
Ice/Psi I think can run without the need of Cardiac as Drain Psyche helps out a massive amount and perma-dom will give a refresh for you. I cannot say how Artic Air and other secondaries would handle. For my Dom, I use Intuition, it is a good jack-of-all trades for Dominator hitting a lot of stuff Doms want to enhance. Any other holes are filled up by Destiny Barrier now to cap out the last bit of resistance.
-
With Ice/ as a primary End is always a challenge with Artic Air being a hog. I have played around doing a smattering of AVs (usually +1 or +2) stuff and of course high end content. I reworked the Epic's from Psi to Soul, and cleaned up some of the end hunger it had as I originally tried to push more Def, after coming back from the Def overhaul that happened. The build of course is perma-dom with perm-haste, global acc and to-hit seems is solid from what I recall in my head. I was more pondering what the kind of average is.
-
I did have it like that before roughly 5 +5 pvp IOs, and an ACC IO, but with some recent changes, I took a chance in running it as five-slotted. I was just thought of Hami/D-sync today and was wondering if anyone just does some franking on it.
-
Hey all, After another rework on my Ice/Psi dom, I have drain psyche set with 5 slots, as it was a bit tight and could not find another power to remove the slot from to make it a six slot power. I have it a bit frankenslotted a bit, but nothing too fancy which I think could do a bit of improvement. I was wondering how people usually slot drain psyche for them. I suspect ACC/RECH are main focus then HEAL/END afterwards. To note it is currently setup like this: Touch Nictus: ACC/HEAL. ACC/END/HEAL, HEAL/RECH - Efficiency Adapt - ACC/RECH, END/ACC

I am so glad this game does not have this in canon.
Snokle replied to LegionAlpha's topic in General Discussion
Well, most comics or series/media that goes long enough will eventually fight some sort of cosmic entity as they need to keep up threat and danger which will continue to bring people in to watch/read. In games where they need two lures which usually is power draw to keep people in for progression, then a threat which justifies the new power it will always happen. This is doubled down in MMOs as they need a constant churn of money from monthly subs or microtransactions. So there is enough cosmic entities we have in the world now if you look into the lore and see notes that are scattered around, we do not fight too many of them, but it would be a natural progression for this to happen, as when live they need to make money and keeping everything the same power wise people would get bored and leave to go somewhere else, so there is natural power progression with a new big bad always showing up. Now for their story and lore, who knows how well it should be in the end as we only have AMAs and certain notes on what they planned to do, which as always plans change all the time and get altered/edited as time moves along. So for the most part is speculative on what Live would of been as it has been several years of the game being dead, which you could say was the ultimate entity - time. -
honoroitisfantastic Would you pvp for prisms?
Snokle replied to honoroit's topic in General Discussion
I have done some random zone PVP before it was Freemium setup, and times during the HC years it was an interesting balance for the most part. While Live I played on Triumph where there was a small PVP crowd very few were toxic but for the most part it was fun. I had a couple friends IRL which would go into zone to team PVP. Hell even times when we were hunting for badges, we had some fun PVP chicanery and if we asked some people were fine just letting us do our things. Was I good a PvP? No, I probably did not have a very good build for it, but it was fun especially after i13 work. I have done a little bit of PVP work when I was doing some badge hunting in RV, and it felt mostly the same as before, but with the small base comparatively and no connection to some of the players it felt more hollow. As a lot of people who PvP'd did a lot of PvE too and setup a lot of the great challenge runs or high end work at the time. At a certain point, it just felt hollow, as I enjoy zone PvP more at the time when it was busy and you could feel swings like this, Arena was never my interest as I felt it did not have the hero vs villain tropes that hit me properly. Would prismatic ethers change my opinion and get me to PvP more? Nope I fell I am over it in the game and moved on. Also not being an exact fan of the ethers as a grind for really nothing is not my interest when it comes to grinding in games.- 140 replies

I cannot say much about /savage but I can upvote on Ice/Psi, as Psi is built to be in melee with the best powers being melee and PBAOE, the Artic Air aura with the domination update is great for keeping control, then soft controls of KD and slows make it very nice and scrappy.

Badges: puzzled why teams never seem to go for these ones
Snokle replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
Originally some of these badges in specific on the Redside, the badge tracker would only count up on the person that interacted/finished the side mission. So it was easier to solo them to maximize the badge progress. I am not sure if it was the same for Safeguard, but it might of been possible. Now with the contact where you can run any safeguard/bank robbery mishes, it makes it smoother to run. I know on Excelsior a guy runs bank robbery exploration mishes for anyone to get the Invader Accolade. Still I think shouting in LFG would bring people in to help with the hunt, as badge progress is tied to team now. -
If you're going to play at the highest level in the game...
Snokle replied to Oklahoman's topic in General Discussion
If you need to do the premier story arc for that main story, it is in LFG window under the tab for Story Arcs. There should be two arcs in there to play. -
I am a bit out of date for certain skills for Ice Control as there has been changes recently from what I have seen. But from my build about Ice Control. I found the following power skippable: Chilblain Cold Snap Flash Freeze I know there has been changes to flash, and Cold Snap. But I went more melee base with Psi. As they both meld together for melee focus. I am not sure how much Sonic goes into melee or range focused.

Installing Mids through Lutris on Pop_OS
Snokle posted a topic in Mids' Reborn Hero Designer's Forum
Good day, A while back I moved my system over to Linux from Windows, majority of the transition has been seamless, but the biggest issue I seem to be having is getting Mids up and running, hell even installing on Lutris. It seems if I either use Lutris or some Winetricks it just seems to hang up in some sort of way. Mainly right now it is saying I do not have .NET 4.8 installed which I thought I had going. If someone has a quick note/tips on getting the fresh install going I would appreciate the help. -

Running an Plant/Earth/Ice dom is a beast. You do lean onto the Crawlers, confuse and sleet to melt enemies. I cannot remember right now if I have capped defense; but maybe 30's with half decent res. I hardly find an issue diving into mobs at 4x8 since the lockdown setup is pretty hefty. Also with Ice Sleet -Res is a perfect matchup for the high damage earth, which can be proc'd really nicely.
-
Duplicate, ignore.
-
My bad on that. I am wrong about that. I thought there was somewhere else he does show up on aside, from the one mish against Mot.
-
Apex is tied into the DA arcs, apart of a team fighting Mot, you meet him in a couple different missions in those four arcs.
-
While live was my Necro/Dark MM, on HC I went to my new main Ice/Psi dom as my badge hunter. About 10 badges now to have them all.

Good day all, I have been mucking around with an Plant/Earth dom, and have been really enjoying it. After doing a couple passes on the idea for the build, I was hoping to get someone to take a peek and see if there is any optimization for it. I usually prefer the resist armors, since I like taking a layered approach, but if there is proof on the other wise, I will check it out. I have been tweaking around some slotting and ideas on how to squeeze a bit more out of my Dom and really tighten it up. This is the current build I am running: https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1588&c=693&a=1386&f=HEX&dc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nd this is what I am thinking I might tweak too: This Villain build was built using Mids Reborn 3.0.4.7 https://github.com/Reborn-Team/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! I wanted to see if there was anything I missed; or to tweak to solidify it.
